Oh, he'd heard the rumors about this place. Somewhere where rudeness wasn't taken no matter what and was always punished, but hey, he was a bit brainless and didn't quite care for punishments. Bring it on! What could they do that was THAT bad? Sure, he'd try his best to water down his angering ways, but it may be a bit hard to do at some times so it should be no surprise that there were at least some punishments in his future.

Still, he pressed on, bound for the old and decaying factory where he could live out his life, far from those who used to be apart of his family and those he'd rather not face anymore. So, that's what brought him to the boundary line, a big hunk of muscle and sarcasm right there, awaiting the presence of some member of this new clan. Now this is sure to be f*cking interesting...

[justify][font=Georgia][color=white]The young Nurse's roleplayer should really be asleep as it was late and she had an early start in the morning, but no, she was on her phone in bed instead. Anyway, the serval, who never took entirely well to newcomers and tended to be somewhat cold, was walking aimlessly through the territory when an unfamiliar scent hit her. Curiosity piked the girl of some nine moons followed the scent until she reached Andy and Loopiego conversing with an unknown canine. Amber eyes locked on the canine with the same calculating look she gave most people the serval silently sized him up as she went to stand by the two members of the Mire. Karlie wasn't close with either Andy or Loopiego but that was to be expected when you put up walls to keep people out. The Nurse had a habit of blocking people out, but it was only so then she wouldn't get hurt. To be quite honest Karlie was [i]scared
of letting anyone get too close to her. The only person she had a tight bond with was her mentor Alexis, who was more like a sister or mother to the young Nurse. Anyhow, standing there her amber eyes didn't leave the male for a moment. She didn't really trust strangers, who knew what the guy could do?

  • [fancypost borderwidth=0; width: 390px; text-align: justify; font-size: 8pt; margin-top: -3px;][font=arial][size=8][font=arial]The young doctor had been in what she hoped would soon become the healer's main quarters. She had been organizing her herbs and bandages and such into the various cabinets and drawers of an office, trying her best to keep them grouped properly. Though with some herbs having multiple uses, it was proving to be quite difficult.
Oversized ears picking up the noises of a group outside, she leapt from her perch on the countertops. Curiosity lighting her eyes, she joined the growing group, focusing on the Rottweiler before them. Metaphorical eyebrows furling, she took and unsteady seat near her apprentice. She knew Karlie was typically cold and unwelcoming; that was in her nature. But there was something a bit... Off, about this one. The alabaster doctor felt unsafe and unsure in his presence, and it made her feel like she was squirming inside. Not putting forth her typical, friendly greeting, she awaited the canine's reply.

Ringmaster was just doing her own thing, stretching out her lean limbs since she hasn't been out running much lately, when an unfamiliar scent caught her attention. "Well I'll be damned, another dog wondering about on our land" she said quietly to herself. Like most stranger folks that come about on their territory, he more than likely just wanted to join.

The cheetah got up, stretched out one last time, and made her way to the little welcoming party that formed. She respectfully dipped her head as she passed loopi, Alexis, and Karlie, but adding a small smile when greeting Karlie hoping to sooth her uneasiness a little. Finally she made her way towards Andy and just stood near him silently as he took care of the standard "name and business" spiel. Now just to hear what the new guy's gotta say.

Much more polite than his past self, but still a hint of unamusement and snarkiness in his voice, the big fellow replied with, "Emilio, and I'm here to join." As shuffles of feet were heard, the beastie lifted his boulder of a head up to survey his fellow peers and thought, Well, I'll be! A complimentary peanut gallery! I should really thank the guys. He knew by the end of the day, they'd all be having to say something about him and he knew that it would certainly not be something mild nor friendly.

As the few finally arrived, his amber eyes drifted over each one. A normal cat, a serval, some other small creature. Wow, how he'd been expecting larger animals! Normally, there was a tiger or lion in the clans he joined, but it seemed they were fresh out of those around here. Must be because they were new, huh? After a look at each one's faces, he found out that two of the three that had joined the group were looking rather uneasy about his arrival. Hey, I can't blame em'. Oh, look at that. One of them seemed uneasier than the other. Huh. Finally, he took his orbs off the worried duo and returned his gaze to the one whom had required name and business.

As the crunching of dead grass was heard, he turned his head around for a final time and was met with the familiar black spots and golden fur of a cheetah. What pipsqueaks they were! He'd only ever seen one other creature of the same species, and that was all the way back in Blizzardclan. Odd, he thought he'd see more. Oh well, seemed cheetahs weren't all that these days. Servals used to be, and he was able to remember PLENTY of those things and it seemed there was even one here as well.

  • [size=11pt]"Welcome," Nebula said coldly, trotting closer. The large cat paused before the joiner, eyes glinting. She was not hostile nor friendly, simply rather accepting of the new member. They were always good for the clan. "I'm Nebula, Head of the Hardy family." And she left her subtle explanation at this- for the leader had yet to make a meeting to, hopefully, explain this further.

"Uh, thanks.", he coughed, gaze flickering towards Nebula. How it was hard to keep unwanted commentary inside him! One day he'd burst and it certainly wouldn't make him look any better than the way people were already glancing at him. "It's a pleasure." Hardy family, hm? That was new. He'd never heard of it in his many moons in this mixed up place, well, not the Mire, but the whole expanse of land on which the clans resided in general.

Thankful when her mentor took a place beside her the serval was able to relax a tiny bit. Yet noting Alexis' unease she wandered if the others felt it too. Well, if they did they hid it a lot better than Karlie did. Catching movement her amber eyes flickered away from the beast to spot the resident cheetah approaching. As Ringo passed them she gave a nod to both Karlie and Alexis, adding a smile in Karlie's direction. Freezing for a moment the Nurse gave a stiff nod back and to the smile the corner of her mouth twitched and that was about as much of a grin as you'd get from her. But then her amber eyes were flying back to the unknown and troublesome looking canine as he spoke.

His name was Emilio and he wanted to join. Karlie was all too happy to let someone else speak and so was content when Nebula spoke up. But then of course she knew she would have to speak. Alexis would surely be disappointed if she just walked away like she wanted to. [color=#C48189][b]"The name is Karlie, Nurse here." The serval meowed, her answers short as she didn't wish to speak more than was necessary.

  • Cricket watched from the back of the small crowd with an interested glint in her bright eyes; the Sphynx was silent as she observed the canine, save for a raspy utterance of the phrase she'd said so often lately; "Welcome to The Mire."
