"I'm here to warn you about Rose's magic energy level. If she does the ground shockwave like before, she'll get badly hurt, or worse." Lyra said concerningly. "Promise me you won't let her do anything too crazy?" she asked.

Zila stared at Lyra. "I try my best but I don't think there's much I can do. I mean she wants to do the job without you guys. But I guess I can take over from here." Zila whispered back while looking over at Rose who was still looking around.
-
Lyra nodded. "Don't worry, if Rose considers you a friend, she'll listen to you. At least when she realizes she should." she said. Lyra then dissipated once more.
"Hey Zila! I found an opening!" Rose said from the right side of the nest. "I'ma go in and check it out!" Rose started to slowly get into the nest. -
"Uh how about I check it out! You already did so much! Um go check on the kid out, make sure he didn't hurt himself." Zila said as she pushed her way past Rose and went into the opening.
-
Rose looked questioningly at Zila. "Uh, sure. You can handle it by yourself?" Rose asked as she slowly got out of the nest.
-
"Ya, ya I'll be fine. If I need your help I'll just call for you." Zila waved her hand at Rose and walked into the opening.
-
"Right. Sure." Rose said, walking back to the mayor. Something seems off... She thought for a moment.
-
"Alright let's see what we're up against." Zila muttered under her breath. She walked in and gasped. This must have been the biggest nest ever. The entire walls filled with eggs. She pondered on taking her sword out but went against it. She needed to finish this before Rose got back. "Shadow Dragon's Roar!" She yelled. She was halfway through the nest when she heard something. She stopped and listened. Millions of tiny foots were coming towards her. "Shit." She hissed. Out poured millions of rats from the walls. "Shadow Dragon's Roar!" It was her most effective attack for huge crowds like these.
-
Rose heard the sounds from where she was, so she knew she'd have to help. "Don't worry Zila! I'm coming to help!" Rose didn't even bother to jump in through the entrance, she punched and burned a hole through the wall to get in. "OH MY GOD!" she yelled when she saw the millions of rats.
-
Zila turned around alarmed. "I thought I told you to stay with the mayor! Get him out of here!" Zila had already taken out her sword and was swinging it around. "Shadow Dragon's Roar!"
-
"No, if I help you kill them all then we don't have to worry about him getting hurt! Don't worry I'll just shock this entire nest and kill them all at once!" Rose said, getting prepared to use the gauntlet.
-
"Don't use that gauntlet! You have very little magic and using it will kill you! Now get that kid out of here!" Zila yelled and continued to attack.
-
"But I wanna help! If using the gauntlet disturbs you that much..." Rose took off the gauntlet and threw it to the mayor. "There, now he can defend himself!" Rose said, and soon noticed that a bunch of rats were now facing her, a few racing towards her already. "Crap... That's a lot of rats..." she muttered, then jumped out of the nest, running to a relatively close spot that seemed safe so she could try to figure out what to do.
-
"Rose summon Aquarius! It's the only way!" Zila yelled. She tried to fight off the rats but everytime she killed one another two would come out.
-
"But I..." Rose thought for a moment. I'll never hear the end of it. She may scold me for not keeping my promises... But... Rose pulled out Aquarius' key, found a convenient water urn, and carried it towards to hole she made. She stuck the key into the urn and said, "Open, gate of the Water Bearer; Aquarius!" Soon Aquarius appeared, and instead of yelling at Rose, she smiled and said, "Hmm. Took you long enough." She faced Rose. "You are really low on magic energy, I'm surprised you were even able to summon me."
"Aquarius, please wipe out this nest of rats." Rose said, now visibly weak from her low energy. Aquarius nodded and focused for a moment. -
Zila put her sword back, it was no use. Now what?
-
Soon, Aquarius lashed her pot in her hands toward the nest, the water bending out and flooding the nest. She put an air bubble around Zila's head so she could breathe.
"Thanks for this, Aquarius. I guess I can't handle not using you guys..." Rose said, a bit disappointed in herself.
Aquarius glanced over to Rose. "That's, not entirely true Rose. There's something you should know that your mother told us before she... Left..." Aquarius said as she continued to flood the nest. -
Awesome. Zila thought to herself in the air bubble.
-
"Your dad, he... Was a mage also, with different powers." Aquarius began, but before she can continue, all of the rats were dead and the nest was flooded out.
"Awesome! Thanks Aquarius! You can dispel now, unless there's something you need." Rose exclaimed.
Aquarius lowered the water, the nest now empty of rats and water. "Um, no. Nevermind. Just rest." Aquarius said before going away.
Rose ran up to Zila and very cheerfully exclaimed, "Hey, we did it! We destroyed the rat things, and I'm perfectly o..." but Rose suddenly got wobbly, falling towards Zila because Rose was extremely low on magic energy and she couldn't even sustain a conscious mind right now. -
Zila caught her. [i]Great.[i] She thought to herself. Soon the mayor joined them. "Hey can I ask you a favor?" Zila asked the mayor. He seemed confused but nodded. "You think you could have a carriage take us to a guild near by?" The mayor agreed.
