Farrah chuckled a little, "I'll keep that in mind. Hopefully I won't be trapped under something again... What was that creature anyway?" She asked softly, wincing as Duilin worked on removing her arms from the sleeves, "How bad are most of the cuts?" Her light eyes traveled to her arms, gazing at the torn skin.

"It was a warg. And your hands and arms aren't too bad," he replied, carefully beginning to wash one of her arms. "But I want to get them done first so we don't have to worry about anything else getting into the cuts while I deal with the more serious injuries." Her arms seemed to have very little damage, so Duilin finished with them before long. He took a deep breath, closing his eyes for a moment. "Alright. I- I'm going to undo the rest of the top of your dress now. Just...just so you know."
-
Farrah breathed out and nodded, her eyes closing and then opening again, "Alright.... I trust you." She whispered, staring up at him and giving a tiny smile to reassure him. One pale, bandaged hand lifted and gasped his for a moment and then releasing. She took in a deep breath and lightly moved against him before she fell silent and waited for him to work on her.~

Duilin moved quickly, trying to spare her as much embarrassment as possible while still treating the wounds to the best of his ability. He undid the remainder of the top of the dress, moving it aside and quietly beginning his work. His hands swift and gentle, he washed out the wounds, bandaging them up carefully with the rest of the cloth. "I- I'm going to press down on these to see if I can help stop the bleeding," he said quietly. "They're more serious than the ones on your hands and arms, so it's more important that the bleeding stops before you lose too much blood. Alright?"
-
Farrah whimpered faintly in pain, her eyes squeezing shut. A pale hand wrapped around Duilin's wrist, shaking from pain as she opened her eyes and stared at him, "O-okay... But... Please, be quick. It hurts badly." She answered, staring up at him and then removing her hand. The girl took in a breath and bit her lip, "How... Bad is it?" She questioned, "Like... In general? Not comparing to my hands or arms. Are they extremely deep?"~

"Not too bad. You'll live, and I- I don't think there's going to be any permanent damage. Just some scars. We've just got to get the bleeding stopped, that's all." Ask he spoke, Duilin pressed down on the bandages, hoping to help stop the bleeding. Such things sometimes helped with that, after all. Afterward, he decided, he would go and look for athelas.
-
Farrah listened quietly and gave a small nod, "Well... That's good." She murmured gently before giving a cry of pain at the pressure. That hurt so badly.... The bandages began to stain red but the blood stopped rather fast, leaving Farrah trembling beneath Duilin's hands. A few tears were falling down her face and she gave a soft sound, biting her lip as she opened her eyes and stared at Duilin.

"Alright," he said softly. "Let's get the top of your dress back on now. I'm sure you'd rather have it on than not, and it shouldn't be too tight over the bandages. I think we will rest for today, since it would not be good to put you on horseback. I will go and look for athelas. Is this acceptable to you?" He offered a hesitant smile, hoping that she would begin to feel a little better.
-
Farrah took in a breath and then flushed, shaking her head, "It'd probably be best if we leave it off.... The bandages are covering most of my body, and the top was meant to.... It's a corset. It'll hurt more if we put it back on." She said quietly. The girl continued to hold his hand before she gave a small nod, "That'd be fine... It'd be best that we stay... And as long as you come back rather quickly I won't mind you looking for the athelas." She gave a tiny smile to Duilin and pressed his hand, sighing as her eyes began to close, "I'm tired..."~

Duilin nodded in understanding, watching her with calm, gentle eyes. "I see," her murmured. "And I believe that you are well enough that sleep poses no danger to you. You haven't lost too much blood...you should be able to safely sleep. So rest, Farrah, and when you awake I will have returned, and will hopefully have found athelas."
-
"You won't be too far away?" Farrah asked quietly, her eyes having slipped closed as Duilin spoke. She turned her head a little, taking in a relaxing breath, "Thank you, Duilin, for everything.... I know I apologized earlier, and I do mean it still." She squeezed his hand a little and then sighed out in contentment. SHe was already falling asleep.~

Duilin offered a faint smile, then stood. "Alright. Rest well, Farrah...I will see you again shortly." And then he was gone, disappearing into the forest as though he had never been there in the first place. Perhaps there was no athelas in this place, but he was determined to look nonetheless - any amount of the plant would be quite useful.
-
Farrah gave a weak, tired smile before breathing out and slowly falling asleep. She woke up to the sound of soft talking around her, opening her eyes to see that several dark haired, white skinned people were speaking beside her. Where was Duilin? She didn't quite realize that these people were not at all dangerous; they were travelers, much like herself, coming from Rivendell.~

Duilin was sitting a short distance away from the others, his back against a tree, his gaze fixed shyly on the ground. He had explained his purpose and Farrah's presence, but had then respectfully remained silent—after all, these elves were all older than he, and probably more important. It was best to let them speak amongst themselves. In his hands, he held a little athelas, which he had found in the woods before encountering the other elves.

"Duilin?" Farrah questioned, the elves pausing and glancing at her before looking at the younger male, "She has awakened; itmay be best to place the athelas on her wounds while she is." One stated, their voices calm and nearly relaxing to Farrah as she glanced over to see her companion. The sight of him seemed to reassure her, and the girl took in a breath before wincing in pain.~

Duilin nodded quickly, moving to Farrah's side. He said nothing, though, just quietly began undoing one of the bandages on her arm—he didn't want to undo those on her chest without permission, especially since they were in the company of other elves. Besides which, a little athelas wouldn't hurt her arms, either—although they weren't hurt too badly, they were still wounded.
-
Farrah's other hand caught hold of one of Duilin's, the girl holding it tightly as he undid the bandages. Her eyes fixed on him and she swallowed, "How long have I been sleeping? When did they come?" She asked quietly, her voice extremely soft as she stared at her companion. THe other elves moved away, knowing that the other wounds would ben needed to worked on.~

"Not long," he responded, his voice barely more than a murmur. "They came while I was gone. I- I very nearly did not hear them—they are masters of moving silently. I returned to find them here, talking amongst themselves about you and myself, although they were not entirely sure who I was. They're from Rivendell, and are all older and wiser than I." Duilin offered a faint smile.
-
Listening silently, Farrah slowly nodded, "And.... Why are they here?" She asked quietly, "Is it because of the warg? Are there more out there?" She bit her lip a little bit, not extremely liking how Duilin seemed to be so nervous with the other elves around. She didn't like that much at all, really.

He shook his head, crushing some of the athelas between his hands and beginning to apply a little to the wounds on her arm. "No. They were passing through, that was all." Duilin glanced back over his shoulder, watching the other elves rather nervously. "The truth is, I- I haven't met many elves before," he admitted, his voice soft enough that hopefully only Farrah could hear. "I grew up as one of a few elves living among the humans. So being here, seeing these people...it makes me nervous. I- I do not wish to disgrace my family."
