  • Ooc: Lol o.o every one hide Scarlet just giggled, the world must be coming to an end. xP

"Are you kidding? Fin would kill me... wait did I just say that out loud?"Scarlet said frowning in thought over whether or not she said that out loud.
She then realized she was still pointing her gun as he and quickly tucked it in the back of her pants.
Scarlet then tried to study her but her eyes kept going out of focus.
"Um, do you need some help?"She asked holding out her hand to help May up.

  • ooc:x) *hides under rock*Quickly Cats!Hide from the new giggling Scarlet!

ic:"N-no he wouldn't.He obviously c-cares to much f-for you and Hawk to lay a hand on e-ether one of you." May said as she reached for Scarlet's out stretched hand.A little happier not that Scarlet had put her gun away she now allowed her self to take her eyes off the girl and look at her wing and was almost sick when she saw it.Bent sickly out of her back and folded in almost every wrong way she knew she would not be flying again anytime in the near future.Looking away from it and back at Scarlet,May's face had grown pale and ashen as tears continued to fall down her cheeks.

  • Ooc: -Hides with Fin and Hawk- -Looks from one guy to the other- I'm a brilliant creator, such beautiful men. xD

Ic: Scarlet snorted at that and took another swing of her bottle.
"As if, I wish a guy cared half as much for me as Fin does for you. No one will ever like me that way... I'm to ugly."She said as she sighed and looked up at the sky for a moment. When she said ugly she didn't mean she wasn't beautiful, she meant no one would like her for who she was. She would go through life and never find that someone that looked at her the way Fin looked at May. She was ruined. A broken toy. An unfixable heart.
Scarlet then noticed she was crying.
"Here is will help with the pain."She said offering her beer to her.

  • ooc:*glares at Cats from under rock*Grrr...

ic:With Scarlet's help May manged to struggle to her feet and if it hadn't been for the tree next to her she would have toppuled to the ground again.Clinging to the branch above her to keep her self standing up right and with her bad wing hanging limp and swinging in the dirt whenever she moved she reached for the bottle saying "I wish.Whenever he looks at me its always a blank uncaring stare. All I am to him is just some clumsy, shy, stuttering girl that keeps getting hurt.When...if I go back there and he sees me he'll just sit me down and not look at me while he fixes me up all over again." Taking a deep swig of the booze she continued after she was done "HA!You ugly!?If you were any prettier men would be falling at your feet worshipping you!I'm the ugly little cow here.Tangled plain black hair, too pale skin, had a sightless mini boiling ball inside my head and freak out when ever something bigger then a mouse comes close." With that she took another deep drink of the pain numbing and mind fogging liquid.

ooc:*whispers*What happened to Fin looking for Scarlet?

  • Ooc: He got lost, He'll show up soon though. xD

Ic: Scarlet smirked at her and then rolled her eyes.
"Are you honestly that blind? Sure he's nice and all, but he doesn't act like that for just any girl."She insisted and then took the bottle taking a few swings before handing it back.
"At least when someone loves you, you'll know it's for who you are and not your looks... I thought-"Scarlet cut herself off and swallowed down tears.
"I was just beginning to think maybe my life's not a wreck. Maybe I could still love a man... Then he goes off and says something like that... doesn't that prove that I'm unlovable?"She asked staring off forgetting the fact she was actually talking to someone. Then Scarlet did something that she only seems to do when lacking sleep, food, and drinking her spirits, she cried. She began sobbing, right there in front of May she had a break down. Then 'Poof' no more Scarlet, just a kitty.

Fin had come up a little bit ago and was just listening to the girls chat along about boys and what not.
He then realized they were both drenched with tears. If Mason was here Fin might actually be strangling him with his powers, which Fin never used his powers like that.

  • ooc:lol He's a stalker!*sees kitty*KETTEH!!8D*runs out from under rock and hugs kitty*

ic:Taking the bottle back May drank deeply as she listened to Scarlet."Me actually ever get a man and one as nice, respecfull and hansome as Fin?Not in a million years!Fin doesn't want a woman that can only bring her self to accept half of what he is.Its not like I'm not trying...its just that...well I can't not after what I've seen about those things." she muttered quiet loudly even though to her drunken ears it could have been a whisper. Then looking with unfocused eyes at the new cat Scarlet May gently lowered her self to the ground but even that hurt enough to make her grit her teeth even with her being this drunk.

Sitting on the ground next to Scarlet May put the bottle down carfully so that it would tip over and spill and said "Come here Scarlet." And then not waiting for her to answer she picked up the black crying cat and held her close in a tight hug and even began to pet her before she her self burst into tears of loneliness, regret, shame, love and loss.Crying her heart and eyes out into the sleek silky fur of the black cat May was glad that Fin wasn't there to see and hear her drunken tears.

  • Ooc: Well he would have known after touching their skin anyways.... xP O.O I don't think that's a good idea.....

Ic: Scarlet was to drunk, tired, sad to even try stopping her she just continued to sob.
She buried her face in May's arms.

Fin then came out to them with pity in his eyes, and that good old kindness he always had.
He walked over to them and wrapped his arms around them both making sure not to touch May's wing.
Fin then swore to protect them both, even if he couldn't say it, he was thinking it.
Oh the bother of not having a voice... it was a horrible default in this.
While some of what May said was true, Fin still wanted to love her. He wanted to so badly... but how can you express how you feel with no words?
He looked down at the two girl with as much love as he could in those blue eyes of his.

Scarlet was shocked to find herself smothered under both Fin's and May's arms.
She looked up at the blond boy and suddenly for once in her life she felt like she had a home, a family.
Perhaps no man would fall for her but at least she had a family.

Ooc: *sniff sniff* OH its so happy and sappy! i can't take it! -joins in group hug-
(I think I may be lacking sleep right now...)

  • May looked up to see who had wrapped their arms around her and Scarlet in such a protective way.Seeing that it was Fin she almost disappeared again but then found that she was to drunk, tired, sad, hungry and heartbroken to even try.Laying her head on his shoulder she just cried and cried both glad that he was here to hold her and show her kindness but also wishing that it was Hawk instead of him so that he wouldn't see her cry and look so pathetic.

ooc:*looks from kitty to Cats*Why?Its only a kitteh.
    Tears+Fin's skin= ? ;)

  • Ooc: *Head Desk* -glares at May- Why Must You Be So Blond SomeTimes? :P

Ic: Fin sighed and rested his head on hers for a moment. But then he realized his chest was getting wet.
He instantly let go and backed away tacking off his shirt so as not to break another one.
Then he changed forms with a slight moan.

Scarlet turned to look at him with a sigh.

Fin's eyes went to May hoping she wouldn't react the same as she did last time.
Maybe if he remained quite it would help.
He stood waiting for her to run screaming, knowing this curse would forever keep her away.

  • [font=georgia]{Drama llama. ;)}

He had found a comfortable spot in the grass by a small brook--Mason could hear the incessant chattering of the water, but could not otherwise see it--and was lounging underneath the protection of a skinny old maple tree. Its thin trunk had been weathered smooth from age and spray, and its spindly arms swung emphatically in the cool night breeze.

The bark was a dull brown, with a grayish cast. The leaves were weak and arthritic, a pale sickly pink, and clung feebly to their respective branches; each sigh and swoon and sneeze caused a storm of them to fall to the ground at its buckled knees, where there had accumulated a large pile of dead foliage.

There were no other trees in the valley, because the sides were too steep to accommodate any of their species, and the weeds choked all of the available water from their roots. Behind him, the moon hung in the sky like a silver Christmas ornament, waxing fat and merry, with an entourage of lesser stars twinkling demurely at its side and a wreath of cloud wrapped like tinsel about its wide girth. If it had not been for the abundance of light, Mason would not have seen the lone figure marching purposefully towards him.

He reacted without thinking: springing to his feet and then crouching in a defensive stance, he used the maple's sagging branches for cover. But something must've gave him away because the figure still pressed on, making as direct a beeline for him as possible across the uneven surface of the gorge. He could do nothing but wait and hope that the wind would change direction so that he could scent it, and therefore could form an accurate idea of what was coming. Alas nothing of the sort happened, and he was left to wild leaps of the imagination: an eraser, a whitecoat, a ghost, Scarlet--he agreed with this last thought as the shape of the figure was becoming decidedly womanly, but the height was off and the waist was trimmer.

By now the woman, whoever she was, had reached the end of the brook and he could tell from the distance she had already passed that she was moving with incredible speed. Within the next ten minutes, she had made it half a kilometer from him, but was just far enough to elude his night-vision. He gained comfort from the fact that neither could see the other clearly.

But then she suddenly entered under a shaft of moonlight, and he saw without difficulty a most surprising conclusion to the suspense that had been building over the last thirty minutes.

"Angelina." Not a question. "What are you doing here?"

"Mason." Also not a question, but a low purr. "I came to see you. Why are you alone?" This was not the high voice he had heard in the parking lot earlier that night; it was a sexy baritone, a seductive bass. Dangerous. "I didn't expect you here."

"Neither did I. Weren't you with Flo and Payton?"

"Yes, but my job with them is done. They are safely tucked away at the Pig and Crown."

His yellow eyes glowed with suspicion. "I thought we trashed the Pig and Crown. Flo said they were going north."

"Flo said that?" she answered without missing a beat. "Ah, then I suppose she had another pub established in New York."

At this Mason smiled and said coolly, "There is only one Pig and Crown."

Angelina seemed unperturbed, or made an effort to appear so. "Mason, don't be silly." She paused as the wind began to blow away from her, sending her long hair in spirals around her face. "Where else would they be? I dropped them off at a pub."

"It could be any other pub except the Pig and Crown."

She shrugged. "Okay, I guess I forgot the name and substituted it with the freshest title in my mind."

    "A likely story."

Angelina made a noise of frustration. "Mason, I'm not your enemy. I'm here to help."

"Help with what? Running?" he retorted, his voice infused with sarcasm. "Fighting erasers? Blowing up over stupid little things?"

She stared at him for a moment before replying, "Mason, as I said, I am not your enemy." There was something in her words that held him spellbound. "Mason, I love you."

"What?" Nothing could better express his shock than that one word.

"Mason--Mason, I love you. Come here, to me," she cooed, opening her arms and beckoning with her fingers. "I love you."

"What the Hell are y--," he felt like he had taken a blow to the stomach from a baseball bat. Doubling over and collapsing on the ground, he struggled to take a shaky breath. The air was heavy, laced with something strange and foreign and thoroughly invigorating. It was like he was choking and laughing at once, expelling air as soon as he inhaled it. His lungs refused to cooperate with his desperate need for oxygen—and Angelina.

She was on top of him, pinning down his arms beneath her thighs, and kissing his neck. His mind was repulsed by her touch, but his testosterone-charged body reacted: he opened his mouth and released a soft moan.

“Mason,” she whispered in his ear. “Mason, do you love me?” She curled her fingers in his dark hair and kissed the smooth surface of his lips. When he did not answer, she asked again, “Do you love me?”

The urge to talk overwhelmed him until he was not sure where his will began and her desire ended. “Yes,” he said through gritted teeth. “I love you, Angelina.”

She released his arms, and they automatically encircled her waist and drew her closer to him. This time they kissed with all the heat and passion reserved between two lovers.

Angelina approached the clearing where she knew she would find the rest of the group. The information had been easily given, and without it she would’ve been forever lost in this miserable forest. She clenched her fists to her sides. When the erasers had come for her at age sixteen, and brought her to the School--uprooting her from her home in Brazil to fiddle with and experiment on her in the United States--they had spliced her DNA and added the genes of a cypress tree. It was acclaimed as a huge success.

They called her the next biggest thing, worshipped her as the epitome of perfection, the future of life on Earth: the era of the super-human. They gave her the food and shelter that so many there were deprived of, and the attention and kindness that even more envied. But then they discovered that though the splicing had given her longevity, youth, and strength, it had also left an unforeseen side-effect—she was now legally blind. Gone was the praise and admiration that had earlier been bestowed so freely upon her. Gone was the affection, the sense of worth, the confidence. She was left in a dog crate to die.

The F.A.S. was what saved her from that terrible end. It was only natural that they would demand this as payment for their mercy. At least not all of it was bad--she had certainly not been Mason’s first. As she plastered a joyful smile onto her face, and ran to Anna and touched her with the same hands that had held Mason’s face so tenderly the night before, she quickly turned her thoughts onto a different course: how genuinely happy she was to see her sister’s lovely face.

Where was he? He looked around him at the valley, but nothing jogged his memory--not the brook, not the tree, not the shreds of ripped clothing scattered across the grass. Wait, hang on. He brought his hands to his face, massaging his forehead vigorously. Ripped clothing? He glanced down at himself, in all his naked glory, and cursed.

Mason didn’t remember a single thing about last night, just the pleasing sensation of being touched, and the clinging warmth of another body. Usually he would chalk up such sentiments to the influence of alcohol, but he was not experiencing any of the symptoms typical to a hangover; there was no loud pounding in his head, no dizziness, no vomiting. He felt perfectly fine, better than fine in fact, as if he was again in tune with the whole of his body.

He got up and stretched, arching his back and working the kinks out of his shoulders. So where in the world was he going to get find some clothes?

  • OOC: Well.... I see some people have been busy... >.>

Artemis took a place on the grass and leaned against the tree. She yawned widely before closing her eyes. She started to doze off.

  • [font=georgia]{Lmao. xD I'm thinking she's going to touch all the girls in the group one way or another and get her pheromones on them. It'll be total chaos.}

Somewhere in Ireland, a tourist reached the end of the rainbow. It was the first of its kind recorded on camera, but unfortunately there was no gold. It seems that the recession has hit the leprechauns pretty hard.

  • OOC: Lol XP Everbody run, the pheromones, they're contagious!

All the way in Egypt inside a pyramid Indiana Jones finds a treasure that no one knows the name of. It belonged to a pharoh that liked dogs. The giant dog statues were not happy.

OOC: Most random post in the world... lmao

  • [font=georgia]{OMG, should we play it out like Midsummer Night's Dream where everyone "falls in love" with the wrong person!?!?!?! It can be Fin x Artemis, May x Mason, Hawk x Scarlet, and Anna and Angelina will probably have to get out of the picture somehow, cause they're sisters and they're not going to go for each other. P.S. Love your Indiana post.}

In Dundee, Scotland, the Lochness monster, nicknamed Nessy by her proud discoverer, Mr. Maise, was found wallowing in his oversized bathtub at 2:00 a.m. yesterday morning. Authorities speculate that Mr. Maise lured her into his bathroom with a trail of gingerbread crumbs, and he will be charged with attempting to capture and poach a rare and endangered species.

  • OOC: Sounds interesting and thanks :3

A random goth girl finds a bright, shiny clearing. There's a guy there who has sparkly skin. She stares at him for a long moment and then screams, "Edward Cullen?!"

  • (Scarlet would never fall for Hawk. o.o She'd have to be drunk.... really drunk....)

Anna woke at her touch, it was instinct that woke her.
She saw that it was her sister and smiled though in the inside she was confused.
Anna didn't understand her sisters waves were all wrong. She would have to talk this over with Hawk perhaps she has thought of something to give it away. Anna knew something was wrong with her and she had a feeling it was putting them all in danger.
"Good morning."She said pulling of a tired yawns.

Hawk was on the ground laying on his back with his wings rapped around him like a cocoon.
He snored softly not waking at the sound of voices. Hawk was dreaming of some beautiful blond girls in a beach scene. Hey he may be a good guy in real life but he could have dreams right?

  • [font=georgia]{She can go for Fin then. And Fin can go for Artemis.}

"Morning," she said, positively glowing. "What's for breakfast?--or should I catch something nice and furry for us? I saw a warren of rabbits on my way here. Very plump." Her hair smelled like Mason, a heavy combination of woodsmoke and black licorice. She twirled a strand around her finger and wondered whether or not she could replicate it. "Should we wake him?" She nodded towards Hawk, sleeping curled up in his own wings. "And where are the others?"

  • Artemis was still sound asleep on the ground leaning against a tree. She snored quietly her brown and white tipped wings were extended a bit and her arms lay in her lap. "Five more minutes..." she mumbled quietly in her sleep before beginning to snore again.

  • (Eh I'm liking the drunk idea better. :3 As for Fin, Artemis will have to push him into that. I think Anna should stick around and watch them all be idiots. Then be all 'I told you so.' in the end. ;) )

Anna caught the smell and found herself wanting to punch her own sister but she hid this well.
"Rabbit sounds good."She said then was about to answer her question when Scarlet came in dragging a large buck behind her.
Scarlet dropped the buck and then walked over to the 'sleeping angel' and kicked him in the side.

"Time to wake up, you big lump."She growled clearly still pissed as always.

Hawk woke up at her kick and sighed when he looked up at Scarlet.
"I see you went hunting last night, did you catch anything else?"He asked 'anything else' meant 'did you murder anyone.'

"Pft, I wish."Scarlet hissed as she pulled out a dagger and walked back to the buck.

  • [font=georgia]{Pheromones just... make you really attracted to a person, regardless of what you truly feel. Artemis won't have to convince him to do anything. It'll... unleash his inner animal. xD Like with Mason. And what drunk idea?}

"Venison is fine too," Angelina said. Artemis and Scarlet. One was still missing. "Artemis, come here, I want to show you something that might help you control your powers."
