  • (Thank you. Lol. I went off of PyramidClan and came up with that xD I'm going to make me an egg sandwich xD)

"I feel better," he mewed softly, lapping at the water from the moss. "A cat from StarClan was here, Yewtail. She had the scent of herbs in her pelt, like you do. She said the creature haunting me is a God of the Tribe of Standing Pyramids and that going to them may help me." He wasn't so sure and it showed in his voice. He didn't want to go alone, yet the cat never said anything about having to go alone. He would take his sister with him and perhaps Bramblepaw. It was time he told his denmates what was going on anyway.

  • (Nicee. And lol enjoyy xD)

"...A God of the Tribe of Standing Pyramids...??" She replied, blinking. "A God... I see." Thank StarClan for reaching out towards Oakpaw. Yewtail lowered her head, something she did whenever she felt apologetic. "I apologize, Oakpaw. This is not something I'm familiar with. Though I have heard about the tribe, my knowledge is small. I'm sorry I cannot say anything about this, but if StarClan told you to go there, it may be for the best. We're dealing with something beyond our imagination. If they can help, then by all means you should go to them. But Oakpaw," her head slowly lifted once more. "It is up to you. Every cat makes their own decisions, and every cat is in charge of their own life."

  • (I am :) you need to make one. All you do is toast bread, lightly. Butter the toast. Then you take an egg and fry it. Put salt and pepper on it before it cooks. Its delicious ^_^)

Oakpaw thought for a moment. He couldn't bear the thought of travelling all that way away from home. But then he knew he was growing weaker each time the nightmares came. He needed all the help he could get, even if that meant going to a Tribe. "I'll go," he mewed. "But I'm not going alone. I'm going to take Spottedpaw an Bramblepaw with me. If Charredstar allows." That name would never feel right like Minnowstar had. He couldn't believe the old Tom was dead. "I want to go now. The sooner it's over, the sooner I can come back." He was decided as he lapped up more water from the moss. "Oakpaw!" Spottedpaw mewed, bounding toward her brother. "Sharkfang says I did good today! He's speaking with Charredstar right now."

This was his chance. "Spottedpaw, would you like to go with me to the Tribe of Standing Pyramids?" Her eyes widened at the mere thought of going away from home. "Why?" She mewed, sitting down. Oakpaw took a breath and began to explain exactly what had been going on and why he made so many frequent visits to Yewtail. Her eyes grew wide in terror as he explained what had killed Ashstone and Minnowstar, just days apart. Spottedpaw gave it some thought before she nodded. "I'll go. We should get Bramblepaw to go too!" That was more excitement than usual. Oakpaw got a funny feeling in his stomach and knew it was butterflies. Spottedpaw had grown feelings for their denmate.

  • (Ohh my gawd that actually sounds so good, despite my upset stomach right now. xD I'm eating that for breakfast tomorrow morning lol. And omgg Spottedpaw dawww~ *throws confetti everywhere* )

"Then its decided, you are going for sure," Yewtail mewed softly. She stood up and walked towards him, where she gently pressed her forehead to his. "I wish you luck, young Oakpaw. Stay strong, and in times of need look to StarClan for help. They are always there, even if you can't see or hear them." She then took a step back after speaking, smiling down at him. "And don't forget your clan. We are always with you." Her expression showed different feelings of sadness, sympathy, but also hope for the young tom. "Now, go speak with Bramblepaw and Charredstar. But don't forget to tell Sunpetal and Amberheart as well." She held up her tail in case he would say anything against it. "Whether you explain everything to them is up to you, but they have been quite worried about you."

  • (Lol. Confetti xD)

Oakpaw nodded and felt his heart twist. He didn't want to go after all, hut knew he had to. Slowly, Oakpaw stood and walked with his sister out of the den, looking back at Yewtail for what would possibly be his last time. "Bramblepaw," called Spottedpaw, bounding to their den. Oakpaw called for Amberheart. Maybe his mentor would want to accompany them. "Amberheart, can I speak with you?" Sunpetal had returned from hunting and approached her son. Oakpaw quickly explained the situation to his mother, who nodded and gave her kit loving licks before going to Swiftleg in sorrow.

  • ( 8) )

Bramblepaw looked up at the familiar voice. "Hey Spottedpaw," he said with a grin. He had been rearranging the nests, but stopped when she came.

Amberheart padded towards Oakpaw with the brightest smile she could manage. Behind her Ashheart walked away; they had been sharing a squirrel. "Oakpaw," the she-cat purred as she approached him. "Its good to see you out of the medicine den," she said softly. "How are you feeling?? I've been worried about you."

  • Oakpaw proceeded to explain everything to Amberheart, from Ashstone's death to now. He explained about the Tribe and how they could possibly help. Then he looked up at her with pleading eyes. "Do you want to come with us?"

Spottedpaw began to explain, making it sound more of a grand adventure than a dire quest. After she'd finished, she gave a bounce. "Want to come? Of course, we need Charredstar to give his okay."

  • Amberheart was in shock. She just stared at him blank faced as if Oakpaw was a total stranger. So many thoughts whirled through her head, and she had so many things to ask him. She slowly closed her eyes as she thought and played his words through her mind to absorb the new news. When she opened them, all she could see was the pleading look on her apprentice's face. "How could I say no," she said quietly after a pause. "I would rather see to it that you come back safely than wait here worrying to death."

Bramblepaw tilted his head at her, just as surprised as Amberheart was. "Wow... I had no idea Oakpaw was going through these things," he muttered, frowning. He wondered how long his denmate had been going through all this. "Sure, I'll come along," he announced with a small smile. "I want to help Oakpaw. Plus I wouldn't want you going alone," he purred as he cuffed her ear playfully with a paw.

  • Oakpaw nodded and bounded up to Charredstar's den. "Charredstar can we speak with you?" He mewed. The black tom padded from the den and stretched in the sunlight. "What's up, Oakpaw?" Again, he dove into his tale, gaining a startled look on the leader's face. Finally, after a while, he gave a nod. "Of course. I understand." He mewed, looking to Amberheart. "Take Featherlight with you. You'll need an extra set of paws to handle these three apprentices."

Spottedpaw cuffed him back and then bolted from the den with a squeak. "Come on! They're talking to Charredstar! "(Sounds like Charizard)

  • (LOL I actually laughed aloud at that xD)

"Alright. Thank you, Charredstar," Amberheart replied with a bow of her head.

"I'm coming, I'm coming," Bramblepaw called after her with a laugh. But just as he rushed out, his eyes landed on Brightpaw and Ashheart who seemed to have been waiting outside of the apprentice den. He stopped and frowned, suddenly feeling saddened. "Brightpaw... Ashheart..." His sister smiled and padded up to him, nudging her face into his shoulder. "Yewtail told me you guys are leaving. She said it was important. So... I guess you have to leave," she finished as she pulled back. "Yea.." Bramblepaw replied, nodding slowly. "Hey, don't feel bad. We'll be waiting for your return, so make sure you come back with the others safely," Brightpaw purred. "Be absolutely careful," his mother added quickly, emphasizing on the 'careful'. "I will," Bramblepaw said with a smile as his mother gave him a fond lick. After saying his goodbyes, he padded after Spottedpaw towards the others and Charredstar.

Just as Bramblepaw approached the group, so did Yewtail with a bunch of tiny sacked up herbs. "Eat these," she said as she laid them down before each departing cat. "It'll give you extra energy for your journey."

  • Featherlight had approached upon her name being called and nodded to her brother before she looked to Yewtail. Oakpaw and Spottedpaw both licked up their piles and made a face. Featherlight chuckled. "They're not so bad," she mewed, taking a pile of her own. Oakpaw made a small sneeze and ran a paw over his face. Spottedpaw licked her muzzle continually to try and get rid of the aweful taste.

  • "Blargh...!" Bramblepaw shook his head rapidly in disgust after gulping down the herbs. "They're bad enough," he said in response to Featherlight's statement. "As long as they'll help us, I guess..."

Yewtail seemed to be whispering something important to Amberheart as she swallowed her own pile of herbs. As the medicine cat spoke, the orange tabby's head nodded slowly. "I understand," came her quiet response. "Then, farewell, Yewtail."

  • Oakpaw was the first to the entrance, followed by Featherlight and Spottedpaw. "Let's go," mewed Amberheart's apprentice, tail twitching nervously. He knew exactly the path they needed to take, even though he'd never been to this tribe's territory.

  • Bramblepaw padded after them first, Amberheart at the rear. The young tom cast one last glance over his shoulder at his sister and mother before facing forward and greeting the beginning of a long journey. "Which direction are we heading??" Came Amberheart's mew at the back as she pounced forward after they passed through the entrance.

  • Somehow, Oakpaw and Spottedpaw both saw a strange light illuminating the path, though it was different. Oakpaw saw the sun and Spottedpaw the moon. Then a voice whispered in Oakpaw's ear. "Follow the path of sunlight,"
"The path of moonlight," Spottedpaw swallowed nervously and let her brother take point as he began to follow the stream of sunlight. He led the small group up a hill. The steady rush of the waterfall filled the air and when Featherlight looked to their left, the rushing river of the waterfall gurgled beside them.

As the day dragged on, the path created from sunlight began to fade. When that happened, Oakpaw's lead became slow as they came to a few different trails, one leading to the left, to the right and then straight up ahead where the trees quickly gave way to rocks. As he stopped, Oakpaw looked to his sister. Spottedpaw nodded as the moon began to rise. "I know the way," she mewed softly, padding past her brother to take the lead.

Soon, they were off again, following the young white cat through the rocks. Their path wound around several places until the point of a tall stone began to appear before them. In fact, several stones shaped like giant triangles surrounded a huge dip in the stone the further they went up the path. At the top, they were staring down into the valley. Oakpaw knew this was it. "Hey," called an unfamiliar voice and a cat crept forward, fur bushed up. "What are you Clancats doing in my Tribe's territory?" Oakpaw, though trembling, stepped forward, the moon's light turning his red fur orange. "My name is Oakpaw from FallClan," he mewed respectfully, though his voice shook. "StarClan visited me and said I was to come here."

The fur of this cat was silver and he had a white splash around his left eye, which also harbored a scar. "I am Silverfish that Swims," he mewed in greeting to Oakpaw. "Of the Tribe of Standing Pyramids. Our god Sun that Flows has informed our Priest of your coming, Oakpaw. Come. The Priest waits."

(teehee. This tribe is all kinds of different. Instead of Stoneteller, they have a Priest which speaks to their gods and gets omens, prophecies and the like. They call him/her Starwatcher, or Watcher of the Shimmering Stars. Then they have a Healer, who deals in the art of herbs and remedies as well as poisons. Apprentices are Youths, who are trained in defense or hunting, called Defenders(Soldiers) and Hunters. Kits are kits and Queens are queens. Then they have the Wise Ones. :D)

  • (Whoaaa you really thought this out :D :D ALL THIS SOUNDS SO COOL GAHHHH )

God... Sun that Flows?? Amberheart thought, her ears twitching in confusion and interest. She padded after the silver cat with the rest of the group. Bramblepaw seemed entranced by the whole scenery, and he was looking here and there and around in their surroundings.

The group past through the large territory. Most of it was open ground but off to the left side up against one of the rock walls was a large forest and a river ran beside them, leading to a lake before they arrived at a dark hole gaping up at them. "Come," said Silverfish, ducking inside. Featherlight went first, followed by the siblings. The tunnel seemed to last forever, dark and smelling of moss. However, light shone at them as they entered a large glade. A huge rock sat near a pool of crystal clear water, Fed by a stream from further up the mountain. It was well protected by thick foliage and trees.

Kits played happily outside a hole in the foliage while their mothers shared tongues outside. That must have been the nursery. Off to the other side of the pool was a fallen log where the older kits were playing. Even further in were elderly cats with graying muzzles. Their den was similar to that of the nursery, except they had a tree for shade when it got too hot. Then there was a path worn down that led further in where the smell of herbs and berries came from. "Wait here." Said the silver tom before he bounded toward the rock, on which a beautiful she-cat stood, gazing up at the darkened sky. "Forgive me, Starwatcher, but we have visitors." Upon haring this, the mother's ushered their kits to sleep and the elders and apprentices also went to their dens for the night. It seemed the Tribe didn't want to interfere with this.

"Welcom to our home," mewed the golden she-cat, turning her head to look at the group. "I am Watcher of the Shimmering Stars. But you may call me Starwatcher. The gods have told me of your arrival." Then her eyes landed on Oakpaw and her fur began to bristle as she walked down the stone. "The dark aura of Night that Brings Darkness is around you, youth." The language these cats spoke were strange. Oakpaw knew to a fact he was an apprentice and yet she had called him a youth. "My name is Oakpaw," he mewed, afraid.
"Sun that Flows has told me of you, youth," she mewed. Then she called out a name down the path. "Gazelle that Leaps, come here. We have one cursed by the God of Darkness."

(Failed to mention that their healer also does cleansing rituals to remove curses that a God puts upon a cat.)

  • (Those are really nice pictures 0.0 Like really nice xDD Like I said, you really thought this out didn't you?? ;) )

'Sun that Flows... Night that Brings Darkness', Amberheart repeated in her mind. She was just as confused with their language as Oakpaw was; it was strange, yet very unique to her. Beside Spottedpaw Bramblepaw looked just as confused but amazed at all this. For one thing, he found the beautiful she-cat rather... well, beautiful. There was no other word he could use.

At the Starwatcher's call, a cat emerged from the path and ever so silently approached the group. One could have thought it was a ghost, if it weren't for the black and white pelt. The Healer eyed each of the Clan cats and then greeted them with a polite dip of the head. "Welcome," came the voice. "I am Gazelle that Leaps." The Healer eyed the group once more before asking, "is this the cursed one, Starwatcher?? His eyes tells me lack of sleep," while gesturing at Oakpaw with a tail.

  • (I'm a very creative person. I always give thought to everything. Just....not in this much detail. Idk what's going on xD)

Starwatcher nodded when Gazelle motioned to Oakpaw. "He is," she mewed, watching the young tom wobble on his paws slightly. "He is the one Sun that Flows has named." Then her eyes rested briefly on Spottedpaw, as though the young she-cat would attack at any moment. Rustling behind them told of a group returning. It was a group of toms, all muscular and big. "I trust the territory is secure, Soldiers." The leading Tom, a big cat in height and muscles, approached, his bright orange pelt shimmering in the moonlight. "It is, Starwatcher."
"Thank you, Fire that Blazes." Fire turned and led the group to a den off to the side, near the entrance, where they disappeared. Soldiers? Didn't these cats do anything familiar? Featherlight shook out her pelt, feeling at ease and uncomfortable all at once.(she's gonna fall for someone here. Just gotta choose the right Tom.)

  • (Loll. I had a feeling xDD And ur the Queen, soo.... *randomly throws confetti* )

The Healer watched the big sized toms disappear before turning her attention back to Oakpaw. "Come with me, young one," and Gazelle turned away down the path towards the source of the whiff of herbs. "And tell me what your condition is right now. How do you feel??"

"Those cats were huge...!" Bramblepaw ever so quietly whispered to Spottedpaw, his eyes shining bright in amazement. "They're nothing compared to the forest cats back home." Amberheart agreed with the young tom in her mind, but said nothing. Everything is so different here, she thought.
