Charlie flicked his ears. "Only some housefolk are like that." He mewed, looking at a white house across the street. An orange tom sat with a young twoleg, purring as he was being loved on.

She followed his gaze...
"Especially the ones around The Diner, they hate cats. I swear they have boots lined up to throw at cats!" She scuffs. -
Charlie chuckled.

"Well, I know when I ain't wanted, Seeya round, cat. Goin' to The Junkyard or Diner for some grub! I'm starved, believe it or not!" She trotted off, her ribs showing through her gleaming black coat....

"I could catch you some mice?" he offered.

"No, cat, once a burger lover, always a burger lover." She said and trotted off in the direction of The Diner.

"I like that cat!"Misty said.
"And so do I,"Mila said. -
Charlie shrugged and padded back over to them. Suddenly, a fight sounded outside.
"Mommy!"
Raven watched in horror as her father bit deep into her mother's neck. The calico fell to the ground and the light faded from her eyes. "Mommy!" She wailed. The gray tom turned on her, baring his teeth. He swatted her to one side and she landed against a bush with a thud.

OOC:i don't care if you do.
"Whats that mommy?"Misty asked.
"I don't know honey.I better check it out,"she said. -
Charlie got to his paws too.
Raven whimpered as Stormcloud padded closer. -
She nimbly flicked her tail and ran off...

Mila hissed,"Stay here!"She ran out to Charlie."What is it?"she hissed.

Charlie didn't answer but jumped between Stormcloud and the tiny kit. "Get. The. Kit." He growled and fluffed up his fur. He unsheathed his claws threateningly.
Raven whimpered more. -
"WAIT A MINUTE, MAC!" Josey said, turning around and coming back.
"They tryin' to hurt da kit?" She asked, spitting, her fur bristling. -
Mila jumped out and grabbed the kit and ran.

IC: Stormcloud bared his teeth. "Have it, it's worthless anyway." He turned and stalked away into the darkness of the gathering dusk.
Charlie growled and watched him.
Raven whimpered louder as she swung from Mila's jaws. -
"It's okay kit,I'm here to help you,"she said and sat the kit in her den.
Misty asked,"Who's that?" -
Raven looked at them, eyes wide. "I'm Raven." She stuttered.
Charlie padded into the den and sat down next to Mila, curling his tail around her body. -
Josey poked her head in to the den and said, "some looney tune who escaped the insane asylum!"
