[align=center][fancypost bgcolor=; bordercolor=transparent; width: 460px; text-align: justify][size=8]That morning, Flowerpaw awoke to a series of thunder crunches. Every aspect, every little detail of the sound had divided itself up into the individual features, separated and ringing through every inch of her ear. Like an invasion of the munch of paw against soil, yet only just the audio, swarming through her brain and buzzing, causing a tingling sensation to travel throughout her body.
Every little step the passerby made caused a twitch of her ear, alarmed yet sleepy olive oculars groggily searching for who the hell had herded a fucking dinosaur inside of their camp and was making them stomp around. Flinching as the audio grew even louder, Flow's teeth ground against one another silently, and she happened to turn her head to the ground when she saw the thing that was causing such an unbearable volume to break into her ears in the early hours.
A kitten.
It had merely been scurrying past, but it seemed as though in slow motion as it's little brown tabby paw came crushing down on the soil of the playground, sending such a shattering vibration through the air that ravaged through her hearing sensors. "Goodness," Flowerpaw grunted, hanging her head a bit and focusing slightly as the wind puffed and roared.
In reality, a kitten had only walked by, as did a breeze merely pass through.
By this point, she was a bundle of gray banded silver, eyes pinched shut and a headache strangling her as she crumpled down into a lay. What the hell? The apprentice knew of super senses, and very well had considered the possibility she now had it, but.. Powers weren't as pleasant as she thought they were. Blinking her olive luminaries open, the tabby felt the sounds fade away into the distance, and now that they were at normal volume they seemed ever far away. Well, then, how strange an experience. Painful, nearly, as she still had an ache in the back of her neck-head area. But it was all over, now, and she lay with a draining pained demeanor upon the playground, having been stirred from a nap by the discovery of her new power.
