  • My eyes go wide as I look up again ,my eyes glistening with tears, "N-no! You can't! Please! I-I'll go home with you, if you want... But please don't come to my house!" I beg desperately. My parents wouldn't hesitate in killing Grace, or at least tying her up and beating her mercilessly.. And Asher wouldn't at all mind to assault her the same way he does to me... I mean, he'd probably do it happily... Grace is absolutely gorgeous, unlike me... "I could never forgive myself... if anything happened to you..." I admit as I wrap my arms around Grace's neck and hug her tightly, not caring about my wounds, scars, or the fact that I'm shirtless. I just needed to feel her contact.

  • I frowned softly. I rubbed her back sighing. "My parents wouldn't mind me missing a day of school. Let's.. Let's ditch school today and go to my house. You can go home and pretend you went to school." I offered. At least if we did we could go to my house and I could wrap and treat her wounds. "C'mon, Let's get your shirt and jacket back on." I said, leaning down to pick up her shirt and jacket.

  • I take in several deep breaths to try and calm myself, "O-Okay..." I say as I shakily put my clothes back on, pulling both sets of sleeves over my hands as I lower my head again, "I'm... I'm so sorry, Grace... I didn't want to drag you into this..."

  • "It's okay.. C'mon.." I said, grabbing her hand and rubbing it gently. I swung our hands and opened the door for her. If I could sneak past the office and get outside, we could get to my home. I think i had some band-aids already in my backpack. I could probably cover the smaller wounds.

  • "Where.. Do you live?" I ask hesitantly. It may not be the smartest idea to follow someone I've only just met to an unknown location, but this feeling within me... I love Grace. I'll trust her with my life, and I'll always do whatever I can to protect her. So even if we get caught, I'll take the blame. I'll happily take whatever punishment to leave her unscathed.

  • "304 Cherry Drive." I replied quickly. I led her outside and towards the entrance. Luckily, we weren't noticed. I led her outside and down the street. "Where do you live?" I said, as we started to near the place we met.

OOC: Cherry Drive is a pretty name. I like cherries 0U0

  • I stiffen and stop walking, my eyes wide as her address settles in my mind, "306.... Cherry Drive...." I say nervously... There's no way that's possible... That would be right next door... My parents would definitely see us if we walk into her house... It wouldn't take them any time at all to walk over and hurt Grace.. "I-I can't, Grace... They'll hurt you..." I say, my eyes tearing up again.

    OOC: As do I :3

  • "Don't worry. I got a plan." I said, smiling. "And Plus 305 is right between us. They cant see that far from the window can they?" I chuckled dirtily. "Oh Im bad." I said laughing. I led her past 305 and towards my house. I knocked on the door and waited for my parents to open the door.

  • I bite my bottom lip in nervousness and hide myself a bit behind Grace, "I'm sorry..." I whisper, feeling like I was making her sneak around or something... I didn't want her to get in trouble with her parents.

  • "It's okay.. I wont get in trouble." I said smiling. I heard the lock click and opened the door. "Mom? Dad? I brought a friend over!" I called to them. I heard my father grunt in reply. He was to busy trying to figure out why our cat was dumb. He was over there, playing fetch with the cat. My mom was too busy baking to pay attention. "Im going to get the wraps. Just sit down at the table and in a second my mom will get you something to eat." I said, rushing to the bathroom to grab the bandages.

  • I nod faintly, keeping my head down as I walk over and sit at the table. I pull my hands into my sleeves and quietly sniffle, doing my best not to cry in front of all these people...The wonderful smell of whatever Grace's mom was baking attacks my nose mercilessly, making my stomach growl loudly which in turn makes me blush fiercely. I hadn't eaten anything in two days, and I could only hope no one had heard...

  • "Hungry?" My mom said, coming over and setting a small plate of white chocolate macadamia nut cookies in front of her. I come back, thrusting the roll of bandages into my pocket. I sit in the seat next to her and my mom set some normal chocolate chip cookies in front of me. "Wow, mom! You didn't burn them this time!" I laughed, picking one up and biting into the gooeyness. "Oh hush!" She returned laughing. "Hey, Letha. Do you want some milk?" I asked her as I usually cant eat cookies without it.

  • I shake my head as I avert my eyes from the cookies, "N-No thank you..." I say, my voice soft as I try to resist the enticing smell before me. I'd been told I couldn't eat for four days, if my parents found out... It wouldn't be pretty... And somehow, they always found out..

  • "You'd better eat those cookies before Dave finds out that you have those." I said smiling. I returned to the table with a glass of milk. I dipped a cookie in the milk and began to chew it hungrily. I leaned in closer to her. "After this, lets go to my room and I'll wrap your wounds." I whispered before leaning back over to my food and eating again.

  • I stiffen as Grace warns me of someone named Dave, "D-Dave..?" I ask nervously, trembling slightly at the thought of needing to be warned of a male. I raise my head slightly to look at Grace. She wouldn't warn me unless it was a real threat, right..?

  • A young man was stumbling down the hallway, rubbing his eyes. His orange hair was ratty as he headed over. "Cookies?" He said, his voice smooth. He came over, laying his head on the table. "Dave. Dave. NO. MY COOKIES!" I snapped, pulling the cookies off the table. "PLLLEEEEASSSE." Dave whined, reaching for one lazily. "one. one cookie." I said, placing a cookie by his mouth. He sucked it into his mouth like a vacuum. "This is what I mean. He likes to steal cookies." I said, laughing.

  • I flinch backward from the young man, a bit closer to Grace as I push the plate of cookies her mother had put before me toward 'Dave'. I wasn't going to eat them anyway, so... Why shouldn't I..?

  • "C'mon Letha.." I said, getting up. If she wasn't going to eat, we might as well go treat her wounds. I pulled the bandages from my pocket and grabbed her shoulder lightly.

  • I flinch slightly in pain as Grace takes my shoulder, but follow after at her pace, none the less. I walk, as always, with my head down.

  • I led her into my room with the cobalt blue walls covered in dragon pictures. I sat her down on the comforter. "Shirt, Jacket. C'mon. I got the bandages.." I said, holding them up. I also pulled out a small thing of antibiotics cream.
