I won't judge you. Ever," she promised, nodding her head as if emphasizing her words. [color=#dd4400]"As for songs... well I know one called Ave Maria. Maybe I could sing it for you?" She inquired pleasantly, shuffling her paws as she thought over the lyrics to the slow and somewhat sad melody. She had acquired the tune from a bird and loner duo, actually, and had treasured it since then. She had never told anybody about it though, much rather sing it to them.

Closing her eyes, the direwolf wouldn't even wait for a response, launching right into song.

[color=#dd4400]"Sometimes love can come and pass you by
    While you're busy making plans.
Suddenly hits you, and then you realize
    It's out of your hands...
    Baby, you've got to understand

You are my heaven on earth
You are my last, my first
And then I hear this voice inside...
    Ave Maria."

  • He decided not to respond to the first statement, but perked his head in interest at the second, rather intrigued with the title and concept as the song as she continued through. It had beautiful lyrics, and although the tune was unfamiliar, it was as though he had heard the words over and over again, ever since being a kitten.

"I... I love it." Nutcrackerpaw said sincerely, glancing downwards in slight embarrassment as an unnatural blush seemed to pigment his auburn cheeks even more so. Who would ever think he would be serenaded one day? Or even make a friend?

She decided that this was as genuine as his smiles though, as the blush on his cheeks gave it away. [color=#dd4400]"What else do you want to do?" The direwolf inquired curiously, her voice laced with a joy that she usually lacked.

  • "Would you enjoy a skating lesson? I remember you attempting to, although I could help you, Sansa." He offered lightly after a moment of thought, rising to his full height as he offered the direwolf an auburn paw. Nutcrackerpaw was gallant, and although these gestures were rather considered romantic, it was simply him being his gentleman and polite self. Even so, he offered her a lopsided grin, as if to silently say it was all right as he also said rather quietly in his Scottish accent. "We can go to the lake again."

She hadn't wounded herself (thank god), but she had gotten a bit scared of the action itself. Maybe another attempt at it would help her to become better and get over her fear? Accepting his paw, the direwolf would stand up and smile. [color=#dd4400]"I'd love too!"

  • "All right then, Sansa. Come along, it isn't too far." After she had accepted his paw, Nutcrackerpaw would release it and pad proudly in the direction of the lake, his head held rather high as he made his way in the direction of the frozen area. When arriving, he proceeded to delicately step onto the ice before gliding across, his ivory claws acting as the odd metal things on human ice skates. He would then come back and pretend to bow, crooked smile returning as he laid eyes upon Sansa within a fraction of a second. "Ready?"

She'd quickly glance down to make sure her wolf still hung around her neck before stepping on the ice, feeling far more comfortable on it in the body of a cat. [color=#dd4400]"Will you help me up if I fall down?" She inquired hesitantly, shuffling forward and feeling the surge of adrenaline associated with almost losing your footing and crashing to the ground.

  • "Of course. Just try and find your center of balance." He directed softly, gliding in the direction of Sansa as she voiced the inquiry, his gaze flitting over the femme's unstable paws. "Come on now, use your claws to balance too." Nutcrackerpaw spoke rather quietly as not to cause her to fall down and hurt herself. Allowing a light smile of encouragement to decorate his maw, the tom would await her next movements, wondering if she would be able to skate after his lessons.

It didn't feel exactly pleasant but she felt more stable. With a smile, she'd begin to move, disregarding caution for a few minutes to just enjoy sliding about. A small indent in the ice caused her to fall though, and the ginger tabby found herself blinking questioningly up at the sky. [color=#dd4400]"I guess I'm not that good at skating. How do you get up?"

  • Nutcracker noted of her excellent start and immediately began politely applauding Sansa for her quick learning although rapidly changed from playful to his overprotective self within a heartbeat. Releasing a faint gasp of astonishment and slight fear, the serious honorguard would dash forward without a second thought about his own safety. Skittering in the direction of the tabby, the gentlemanly trainee would attempt to kneel down a bit to see if she was all right, but accidentally lost his balance and, to his own disappointment and embarrassment, felt directly onto his face. Groaning momentarily in pain, he would then look over at Sansa, murmuring with an immensely crooked smile. "I apologize, Sansa. I'm kind've clumsy today." He then would scoot a bit closer, aiming to playfully prod her shoulder, a deep laugh escaping him.
