She stares at him for a good moment not sure what to say or how to respond to such a comment. The idea was an odd one, the concept in comprehensible. The only words she could think of was apologizing in some way so instead she shook her head in acknowledgement. "You should probably go," she says leaning her head against the stone holding her up. All thoughts falling directly on sleep. How long had she been down here, a few minutes, a few hours? It was already beginning to feel like a life time.

Akemi promptly scoops her up in his arms, grinning.
"You don't get it, do you, girly? Because, you see, if you make it out, they lose. It'll be the first and last time it will probably ever happen, but they will lose. Even if everyone we come across has to die, and I have to kill them, It will Be worth all of it To see the angels become... Frustrated." -
Nan sucked in a breath, but quickly became accommodated to the situation resting her eyes and head against his shoulder. "Interesting choice of words, but I don't think I can do any of that." She shook her head her voice fading.
-
Akemi smiles, his eyes flashing red for a moment or two.
"Surely it is a possibility. Humans are interesting in the fact that they truly accomplish nearly anything if they put enough faith in it." -
"Faith?" She murmurs in response though her eyes were shut. "What is there to have faith in?" She questions. "To have faith is to be sure something is going to happen or is. How can we have faith when the Angels have been in power for so long?" Nan sighed softly glancing up at his flickering eyes with interest. She had never seen such a thing until today. It was fascinating.
-
Akemi shrugs, smiling.
"Then have faith in the darker side of my soul, miss. The only thing that can fight an angel is a demon."
(Sorry. Rushed. ) -
"You don't have to call me miss," she smiled quaintly in his direction. "My name is Nannette, miss much to formal." Even Above she had preferred to be called by her first name. "It's long, but I give you permission to call me Nan if it makes a difference." She adds quickly. The only other person she had allowed to call her by the silly abbreviation was her kid brother though she pushed that aside. Not now.
[No worries I appreciate you trying to squeeze posts in when you can. :) ]

Akemi nods, looking around.
"Do you have any family?" He asks, knowing that when it came to a life or death situation, family was what would make or break this girl -
Nan blinked, "I... Yeah, I did. My mother and a brother." She admitted. "My mother is blind. I don't know what she's going to do without myself and my brother." The blonde uttered quickly running her hands over her face. "And you? Before you were sent down here?"
-
Akemi looked lost deep in thought for a second or two before responding.
"I had a younger sister. It was always just me and her, through thick and thin, with no one else to help us bUT ourselves. She was chosen by the angels, actually. She could see the spirits of the damned on the over side." -
Her eyes widened at his words, "She's a very special case then," she was sure he was already aware of the situation, but she had never actually heard of a situation in which Angels claimed and outsider. After a moment she moved to ask him another question, "Why we're you sent down here?"
-
He looked at her for a second before continuing to look forward, his eyes almost sad.
"I killed her. She was chosen so I was damned. I thought i would simply take it to the next step is all." -
She watched his lips as he formed the lips the emotion playing out on his face. So, it was true. There was no sense of love to be found proving himself before. Sand Walkers truly didn't love.
-
(The plot is fitting well, right? Just checking to make sure I haven't gone too overboard or anything :))
"I pushed her down the stairs accidently one morning because I was angry. The angels were down right furious." -
[No it's beautimous! Everything looks great, sounds great, and fits together well. If there is anything you'd like to add plot wrist wise or big events or anything feel free to add them in to spice it up a little. You're far from going overboard.
]Nan flinched at the thought, " I would understand why. You took a valuable member from them, it's to be expected." She said with a yawn. She wasn't able to help her eyes fall shut or the matter of drifting off to sleep. For most stressful activities or events only riled them up. For her she found herself sleeping beyond what was found to be average for a woman her age.
-
(Yay!
Maybe we could add a few more human characters, become attached to them and then have them die)
Akemi looks down at Nanette as she begins to sleep. She really did look like his sister, but he didn't quite know what that meant for him. He was going to do his best to get her to the end, even if it meant sacraficing himself, because the way he saw it, he soul was deteriorating anyway.
"Sleep if you're tired. I'll wake you if I see anything." -
[That actually sounds like a lot of fun, in a sick minded way.... :) ]
Nanette nodded softly before dozing off completely. She gripped his cloak between one of her hands.
-
A mother and child stood off the beaten path. The mother crooning over her child although trying to keep as quiet as possible.
[Rushed, sorry]
-
(I'll bring mine in a little later :))
Akemi looks around over the endless sand dunes, eventually reaching the one path through that existed. It was the only way to then end, supposedly, anyway. No one had ever made it that far. Nearly everyone beside the sand walkers would follow it, and would die on it. It was by far the most dangerous place in the entire underground. Akemi shifts Nanette farther up his shoulder, pausing to look at the mother and her child, his eyes glinting red. There was hardly ever a child down below, and they always tasted sweeter than the adults -
The mother, at the sight of Akemi, stood up shoving her child behind her legs. Her son was no more than six years old and stood just below her hips. "Stay behind me," she murmured. A slender blade was held in her hand. Their hair was matted, although hers was worse. And her eyes ablaze, wild.
"I will not allow you to injury my child, Sand Walker." Those eyes... It was the only thing giving himself away. Not long before she had run across another of the males kind. Needless to say she knew much on the species. The woman nodded her head towards the blonde in his arms. "Take her and leave. There need be only one causality. My son is mine and mine alone." She hissed praying that's not what he had in mind for either of the humans. But in the instance there was she would do everything to protect her son's life meaning protecting her own.
-
Nannette stirred in the silver haired man's arm's at the sound of voices although her eyes stayed shut. Her mind stayed in a dream less slumber.
[That's fine. ^.^ ]
-
Akemi watches them for a while, his neck tilted at a very inhuman angle and his eyes blood red. Animals bred for killing sand walkers or no, no beast down here could resist the scent of human blood. It was inpossible. Taking these two pathetic things with them would provide many useful advantages, even food later, if need be.
"Oh, I won't kill you or your child miss," he says, smiling, his eyes going back to brown and moving his head back to normal. "It's just unusual to see one so young down here."
