• "You," Nanette choked tears stinging her eyes. Tears had never been her thing, but people can change in an instant, life goes on. "You're going to kill me. Just like them." Her voice was more of a whisper. "I don't want to die." She sobbed.

• The sand walker slaps her across the face, not hard, but not soft ethier.
"I'm not going to kill you. Unless you want me 2. And then I will. So relax, you foolish girl."
He carefully cuts away the jeans on the leg that is broken and looks it over. "That's a nasty break you have there. You definitely won't be able to walk on that. Let alone run."

• I'm safe, She thought unsure whether or not to confide her full trust in the man. In the end she slowly nodded and laid her head back on the barren terrain the trying to quickly wipe away tears. Her body felt heavy with the exhaustion. "W-who are you?" She occupied letting her eyes droop shut.

[Good evening! Gosh that makes me feel like a craptastic vampire. :/ ]

• (Lol ;) I'm just watching the dog which qualifies as nice, I suppose)
The man pulls a vial from inside his cloak and looks at her, lowering his hood.
"My name is Akemi. You?" His face is clean from blood, but his hair is stark white and his eyes currently brown

• [ I see~ c: ]

"Nanette," she answered softly reverting to her ways before the underground. The way of being kind and polite to those you pass. To be happy for what you have and help the less fortunate. All others were sent down here by The Angels. All though the less fortunate in this casE was herself. "Thank you for...." She trailed off wincing at the memory all though it only occurred minutes before. "Just, thank you."

• (And you?)
Akemi looks at her funny for a second, before jabbing her sharply in the ribs with the knuckle on his pointer finger.
"Never say thank you again. Those two words are out of your vocabulary completely. They show how new you are." He looked at the vial in his hand for a second before pouring some of the contents on his hands. "This well help your leg.," he said simply

• A startled squeal left her lips along with any hair being harbored in her lungs."A-alright," the blonde managed d before taking a moment. "I'm sorry." She mumbled instant lyrics covering her mouth with her hands having gotten the message with the first jab. "Please don't do that again."

• Akemi looks at her for a second or two, looking slightly curious.
"If you think that hurt, this is going to hurt 400 times as bad," he says as he hands her a of fabric similar to leather. "Bite down on that, and focus completely on that, alright?" His tone changes to being damaging very quickly, personally knowing what it was like to have a broken leg reset. "Are you ready?"

• In no way did she feel ready, but gave the slightest nod of a head gripping the material between her teeth. By the type of person she had already observed this man to be big he came to the conclusion that something hurt then it was to be excruciating. She let her eyes fall shut, waiting.

• Akemi resets her leg as quickly as he can with a sickening snap, then rubs the area over with his hands.
"I need to make a splint. I'll be right back, okay?" He says as he stands up. Scream again if you see something or, more likely, someone."

• Nan found she couldn't open her mouth to respond nor did she have the energy to. Her face was was a sickly green whilst dots threatened to over come her vision.

• Akemi darts off as quick as could be and returns several minutes later with a piece of a bark like material and kneels next to her leg, binding it in a splint.
"Would you like any water?" He asks, watching Nan's face carefully. Worried she was going to pass out. They really didn't have time for that

• "Please," she croaked trying to avert her eyes from Akemi setting her leg in hopes it would help to ease the pain and calm her stomach. Nanette was working on taking long, deep breaths although it was turning into short and swallowing breaths

• Akemi pulls a canteen from under his cloak and opens it, gently putting it to her lips. Of all the women he had tried to help escape, this girl looked the most like his sister. But none of the others had been injured, and they still hadn't made it. He vaguely considered carrying her the whole way, but that seemed just a *bit* implausible.

• After a few small sips she pulled away slowly pushing herself up. She winced quickly covering it up," I don't know exactly what's going on down here, but I don't believe an injured person on your hands will help you out at all." This seemed to contradict everything she'd said up until this point, but to save someone he didn't even know. It was amazing. And she wanted him to have the opportunity to continue to help others not die trying to save one injured and very unlikely to survive person. "You can leave me behind, I'm okay with it." She offered him a weary smile.

• Akemi watches her for a while before standing up.
"I won't die, I guarantee it. But you very well might. I found you, used some very valuable healing elements on you, so you're coming with me, whether you like it or not. That's the breaks, I'm afraid. I won't ever make it out of here, but you very well might."

• She started at him for a long second not sure exactly what to say that wouldn't get her punch in the gut, again. Instead she turned her gaze to the ground quickly wiping her eyes from any tears residue. "Alright," Thank you, She adds silently. She didn't believe a word that he'd said, but she was grateful for that like title bit of encouragement.

• Akemi extends his hand to her, silently hoping she could stand successfully.
"I mean it, you know. Really the truth is, or close enough to it, is simply that only another sand walker can kill me. And I haven't run into another in a very long time."

• [ Happy New Year!//belated//]

With a frown Nan took his hand putting all her weight on her "good" leg and made it to her feet . Standing only seemed to worse the way the break felt, but she shoved it to the back of her mind and looked up at Akemi. "If you don't mind my,asking, what is a Sand Walker?"

• (Yay! 2015!)
Akemi gently helps her support most of her weight and slowly starts to move foward, urging her to start "walking."
"I sold the human part of my soul to survive down here with 'angel's guidance.' Nobody ages down here, so I could keep going forever, but even if I make it to the end, I can't ever leave. So I try to help others do what I cannot," Akemi says simply, as though describing the weather.
