You could see his face change from happy to shock in mere moments, having taken the joke quite literally. He had been a little unhappy that she had 'forgotten him', however once Edan burst out laughing he lightened up slightly. "Don't ever do that again! I thought I was actually forgotten," he responded, only being semi-serious. Damn, now he felt bad for all the times he had forgotten who Matthew was. "Don't you worry, Feliks! I wouldn't forget you!" She nodded her head reassuringly. "True statement there, sir. The sky's up, the earth's down. That's always an important thing to remember." She shook her head... Boy, did her jokes never get old (at least to herself) (which was what mattered, really). "Now, I know you've told me something about being Head Paladin. Tell me all about that! "Sky up, earth down, us centre, I'll totally remember that," he murmured, nodding slightly before moving onto the next question. Honestly, he was pretty happy that he wouldn't be forgotten, that being his third worst fear. "Head Paladin's like, this really superb rank between Deputy and Paladin. I guess I'm important if that's the case. But, even if I was a little flea I'd still be totally important,". Feliks would hate not to be important, even if he wasn't the brightest of animals around. Yeah, it wasn't the smartest idea to have Feliks in a position of power. He tended to be a bit.. well, airy at the best of times. But, surprisingly, he could be serious about some things, and was essentially forced to be serious when it came to politics, so he wasn't all bad. Just when he wasn't actually at war, which was rare due to BlizzardClan's status.

His mother and father lived in a totally different country, that country being Poland, and any offspring that he had were from mass adoptions, and had grown inactive fairly quickly. All my family died in a fire, except me which was pretty lucky I s'pose," The femme's statement started off wickedly enthousiastic, but her tone soon wound down to something near exasperation, as the fact that her statement was rather morbid set in. "Maybe this wasn't the smartest topic to bring up." She meowed matter-of-factly, and stared down at her paws. "Well, no cat dog and other creature is an island, Feliks! There are lots of lonely creatures out there, but that's why we're all here! So even when you are lonely- at least you can be lonely together!" Edan nodded her head in affirmation. This, she decided, was a good thought of hers, one that was worth sharing (unlike most she felt necessary to blurt out). The toms usually cold and unforgiving gaze brightened and softened significantly an almost childish look crossed him like the time when he could finally admit missing his mom. Refusing tears he simply held it all in forcibly making his maw a grim line instead of a smile or scowl but the obvious sadness and delight were evident. "A-ah... It's been a very long time Hazel... I didin't know you were still alive." I'm glad im not alone. The thought made him backtrack a little but he brushed it aside bitterly before turning a surprised glance in Felik's and Edan's direction turning into his common scowl.
