♕ detailed description; Praeclarus is certainly not the biggest of dragons, for she is smaller than a normal large dragon, but still bigger than the medium and small ones all the same. But really, when one is a dragon, do they really need to be the largest to be strong and powerful? Certainly not. Praeclarus likes to think she gets along fine with her size. She may appear slender for a dragon, and is, rightfully so, but hidden beneath scales and feathers, there's strong, corded muscle that makes for a lean, healthy dragon such as Praeclarus.

One thing Praeclarus prides herself in is her beauty. Now to most, a dragon is a creature they may not be very pleasant to look at--they're big, quite frightening, with scales, and long claws and teeth. But, there is a sort of beauty about them, really, and Praeclarus likes to brag about the beauty of dragons, especially herself. Which, if you took a look at her, you might find yourself agreeing. Slender in form, as I said, gives Praeclarus a sleek look, but what maybe adds to a lot of that are her feathers. Feathers aren't quite often seen on a dragon, which usually has scales, but Praeclarus has feathers on her wings, pluming off of her tail, on the joints of her elbows and knees, and on the top of her head, in which it swoops back like eagle's feathers. Like the scales that cover the rest of her body, the feathers are pure, pristine white, and her wings are like that of an angel's.

Another noticeable feature about Praeclarus are her eyes. They're a brilliant orange/yellow color, liquid like gold, and often times, they give the appearance that they glow (glowing eyes power will be bought) when Praeclarus is in certain extreme moods.

♕ description; The first thing easy to note about Praeclarus's personality is that she has a high opinion of herself, and of her species. She's quite the chauvalist, believing that dragons are superior to other species of animals, and that she, being her beautiful, talented self (or so she thinks), is the best dragon of all. Praeclarus has a nasty sense of pride, brags often, and loves to berrate others for not being as good as her. Her inflated ego and selfishness make for a very disagreeable character, and she isn't often liked by others because it is such as issue, but as she matures it will get better, but her arrogance will always be a big part of her, exaggeratedly so.

Another thing to note about Praeclarus is her quick wit and sarcasm. Sometimes, it is almost amusing to hear her launch into an argument with someone, which is quite often, due to the paragraph above, and the fact that Praeclarus loves to be right and frequently states her dead honest, candid opinion about things whenever she feels like it, even at the most inappropriate of times. Needless to say, she's got a quick tongue that often gets ahead of her, spitting out sarcasm left and right instead of fire.

Despite her rather alienating traits, Praeclarus does have a few good ones to add into the mix. For example, she is very protective over her Clanmates and family, no matter how much she may dislike them as an individual, Praeclarus's loyalty is undaunting and never fails (unless it is to herself, of course, because that is always above everyone else). Another thing to note, is that Praeclarus is brave and quite enjoys a good fight to show off her strength and capabilities in battle. Being intelligent as well as sharp-witted, she is a good strategist and excels in fighting.
