    The nightmares had continued. In fact they never stopped. Day after day, night after night, Rosencrantz fell slave to her dreams and there was no way to stop herself. It was getting worse, all the time like a whirl wind or a violent storm. The same vision of terror. The territory burnt to a cinder, her friends killed and the smoke sent to choke her was all wrapped up in a mystery that she still couldn't make sense of. Until one day, it all collapsed in and the mist consumed her.

    The mist in her mind had been getting closer all the time yet Rosencrantz found that she could never run from it, no matter how much she tried. Even when she was awake it continued because she spend it all worry when she would fall asleep again. Her life had become a viscous cycle barely worth living and by this time she had started to consider this. Death would not be hard if it stopped never ending pain.

    The night had swallowed the day and yet again Rose lay alone upon the dune, watching over the camp as if she knew that there was some sort of danger upon the wind. Time was ebbing as was her strength. She didn't want to let the darkness take her, not this time but it came as an old friend. Horror masked itself with the reassurance of sleep. But Rose wasn't fooled, not now and as she felt the daze of slumber wash over her she felt like crying out in fear but all to quickly she was silenced by unnatural forces.

    That day the dream was different even from the start. The smoke came upon her all at once and a pit open beneath her. It felt like she was being cracked by the flames but as the heat intensified she was compressed back into a singularity. Something else was taking her body, she could feel it but nothing of the light. A demon, an entity of hell. And it had her in its control from the word go.

    The wolf stood strong yet stiff upon the hill far above the camp. If one had looked at her they would have seen that all of the color had been drain from all color so that there was no more pure ocean blue or pearly white but instead they were filled with the deepest black.
    Without words or any other sound she moved down the dune and headed toward the small camp that she called home. With an empty stare she gazed upon it as the parasite within her searched her mind. This was the Skulls, she concluded and she knew where to strike in order to hurt them. Right in the heart, she needed to take their symbol of strength from them and with it this lonely, broken apothecary. One by one the demon would pick them off, a member by member until there was nothing left of the clan but skulls, starting with this one and the rest would follow her to their graves.
    With great power the wolf bounded forth and ran with speed of a bullet until she came to the ancient vessel upon the rocks. The Skulls had had a history; it was imbedded within its life blood. This ship. This arc for many had existed as long as the clan had. And today, it would burn.
    There was only one purpose in her movements now as she entered the pirate ship and made her way through it toward the armory, right in is heart where she knew that the gun powder was stacked. Within another room she had found some matches which she took now and with one swift movement she struck one holding it now between her teeth. One swipe of her paw was enough to knock one barrel down and spill its contents into a trail upon the wooden floor. This she light and within moments parks were flying in a line toward the barrels but still she didn’t move. With Rosencrantz’s soft voice masked by that of demon, the wolf chanted under her breath. “Campfires burning…Campfires burning…Draw nearer…Draw nearer…In the glomming…In the glomming…Come sing and be merry…”

    [glow=red,2,300]BOOM!!![/glow]

    All at once the ship became a fireball and exploded into a billion pieces. Still the harder wood shell remained though it was soon would burn and sink below the waves. Within it the wolf who now lay lifeless and motionless, though not quite dead yet but time was ebbing as the flames consumed all. The demon had left her now, it was not keen on a kamikaze mission. She was left unconscious and trapped though within the burning wreckage as the world around her turned to cinders and ash. It would not be long now before she joined Oceanus and the hell fire took her as well.
    It wasn’t like anyone would miss her anyway…

  • Something felt wrong since the moment Rangi got up from his hay bed. It's like he woke up on the wrong side and now his entire day will be one big disaster. Shrugging it off as him being too paranoid the african wild dog went about his day on his usual routine, his painted companions already jumped off to do their daily duties except for Green. Ever since that clash with Matrix, Green is now mute with horrid scars on his throat, refusing to go to the Forge prefering to stay and the sanctuary with his brother Pink. Rangi is worried about Green but he thinks it's best to let him be alone for a while, losing your voice and almost dying can be a traumatic experience, maybe Pink might help.

    First thing first. Rosen. Ever since they became mates Rangi has felt like he's on top of the world, she brings him such joy that he can barely contain himself when hear her, all he wants to do is hug her, kiss her and just relish in her smell and voice. Oh gawd! If this is how love feels than he should have build that catapult sooner!

    With a spring in his step and a smile on his face the african wild dog made his way down to the camp and his sharp eagle like eyes quick caught on the ball of white in the overall sandy backround heading towards the ship. Grinning like a evil mastermind Rangi sneaks after her but he doesn't go in the ship he hides behind some bushes awaiting for her to come out so that he can jumpscare her. It's mean but Rangi has learned to love Rosen's frightened squeak...it's so adorable.

    But today it is him that got surprised. A explosion rippled though the ship throwing the light african wild dog a few feet in the air and away before meeting the ground with a harsh thud and a painful skid, his skin tearing at the friction opening up fresh wounds from which blood started to ooze. Flames erratically rose to the sky, greedily eating away at the wood, debris flying though the air the noise ringing in his ears. Rangi felt disoriented and eyerything seemed to happen in slow motion as he slowly lifted himself off the ground, dull eyes looking at the burning ship, a tickle of blood dripping down from his ears and from his many new wounds, staining the ground. "R-rose" he whispered as he reached out with his paw towards the ship, wobbling on his legs and with eyes blurry.

    "[glow=blue,2,300]Run[/glow]"

    He hears a voice in his head, not his own, not of Sanguine but someone else. Suddenly Rangi got flooded with the need to save her and his legs started to move, first in to a wobbly walk but then he broke in to a run, each step making him faster. As his mind concentrated on one though his body started to rage. His head started to change in to a more elegant appearance, a elks one, his legs became longer and thinner, his claws shed away in to hoofs and his body rapidly gained on mass. His spotted coat melted away in to a chocolate one and his tail shrank in to a white tipped stub. Rangi however, barely took notice of this change, the only though in his mind is to save her no matter how! His need sparked the change.

    Finally, two majestic antlers sprouted from his head as he dove right in to the burning wreckage.

    Now in what looked like hell Rangi didn't even look around, he knew where he needed to go, he knew where she is as if he's being guided by something. In a more graceful and fast elk body, Rangi simply ran though the chaos, jumping over burning wood and dodging falling debris. Eyes of gold desperately search for a sign of white in red and orange and he finally spots her lying in the middle of it all.

    Rangi quickly jumped over a wooden plank and ran to her side. "Rose..." he will nudge her with his elk nose. He hears a tearing sound and looks up just in time to see a large wooden plank tearing away from the ceiling. Acting quickly he gently but quickly scoops up the love of his life on to his antlers and jumps to the side just barely avoiding the heavy plank that could have just as easy killed them both. Now surrounded by a cage of fire Rangi looked around for a way out, the ship is tearing apart giving in to the fire and the smoke is just another problem, wooden planks falling down and blocking his exit. What to do?

    "[glow=blue,2,300]Burn for her[/glow]"

    He hears that voice again and his eyes strengtened with resolve as he focuses on a burning wall separating them from freedom. If there is no way out, he will make one. Tilting his head upwards he makes sure that Rose rolls from his antlers and safely on to his back. Backing away a little he focuses on the wall and tilts his head downwards. "Hold on" he whispered and charged.

    A buck in full sprint burst though the weakened wall of the ship, the force of the impact shook Rangi and threw him off balance making him fall down with a forward barrel roll, Rosen thrown from his back. Rangi violently met with a sudden stop as he skidded on to his chest, burning splinters sticking out of his head, chest and body, blood from his wounds oozing and burns from the fire evident on his hind legs. He felt immense pain but it's not about him...Rose!

    His eyes desperatly looked around for her.

    "R...Rose..wake up..please" he had no more strength to walk so he tried to desperately crawl on the ground towards where her body flew, but his tired elk body refused to follow his spirits command, his legs only slightly trashed as he layed down on to his side, his chest rising and falling.

    "Help! anyone!" He yelled out as loud as his smoked lungs could scream.
