[fancypost borderwidth=0px; height: 240px; overflow: auto; width: 325px; text-align: justify; margin-: -1px; margin-top: -10px;]Zia, now very aware of the tip of her tail being on fire, leaped into the water and dove under briefly, before resurfacing with a relieved huff. She then swam over to Yang and Dakota, silently helping them stand against the current. She kept glancing backwards, pupils constricted and tail flickering nervously behind her.

  • Templar soared over the flames trying to get a reading on how far it goes. Seeing as she could not tell she flew back towards the others. She hovered over Zia, Dakota, and Yang to make sure if they neede hep she was there.

  • "Good, we are all safe. That's what my father would want." She said and looked at the fire as it burned everything melting the snow as well.

[fancypost borderwidth=0px; height: 240px; overflow: auto; width: 325px; text-align: justify; margin-: -1px; margin-top: -10px;]Zia supported Dakota and Yang as the fought the current to make their way over the river. Her ears were tipped backwards, almost completely touching her skull. She was listening to the roar of the flames, the crackling of the trees and sound of the trees collapsing.
As they were almost at the shore, her paws slipped, and she went under for a few seconds, before her claws got a hold of the slippery rocks of the bottom and she pulled herself up again, gasping for air. She shook her head briefly and continued helping the others forwards.

  • Dakota used her claws to grip the ground as it became shallow. She pulled herself out and wobbled out onto open ground. "Thank you. And I never got your names." She muttered as she shook her heavy coat of the water. Dakota's back paw was still lifted but she could walk herself from this point forward. "How did the fire start?"

[fancypost borderwidth=0px; height: 240px; overflow: auto; width: 325px; text-align: justify; margin-: -1px; margin-top: -10px;]Zia dragged herself up on to shore and shook her striped pelt, making it damp and cling slightly to her slim form. "Name's Zia." She then turned her head to Dakota and replied, head hanging slightly.
She was staring to feel tired. The fight with the dogs, the fight by the river, the escape to the cave, then looking for any tracks, as well as the escape from the fire and the swim. Those things were starting to add up, and the bloodloss was also putting extra pressure on her energy level.
Though she hung on, staying away from any thoughts of rest and sleep, and making sure the others were alright. Her amber gaze swept over the others, relived that no one seemed severely burnt. She then glanced up at the flying wolf, giving her a thankful smile for even flying in the smokey air to keep an eye out for them. She guessed that the others also must've been tired, they didn't get much sleep in the cave before the fire came.

  • Joel padded out of the river shaking his pelt off."Everyone okay??" He asked so everyone could hear over the crackling of the fire

  • Dakota looked at the others to see if they were okay and unhurt. She noticed that Zia was growing tired, she would be too if she went through what she did. She looked back at the fire then at the others before sitting down and tucking her tail over her paws.

  • Yin
The mere second Yang made it to shore, Yin was there at her side, helping her up. For the second time that day, she appeared too tired to speak, panting and glancing around. "Everyone made it across?" he asked the question in genuine concern, his eyes moving across each of the wolves, even Red. The sight of Red reminded him of another question that had yet to be answered. "Good point Dakota," he began, "How did that fire start? I mean for Moon's sake, it was snowing."

    Yang
Yang stumbled across the grass a bit, before falling into a sort of sitting/leaning position. Still trying to catch her breath, she spoke. "That doesn't matter much now, does it?" she stated, staring back at the fire. "We're safe now. We shouldn't dwell on the past anyway, I mean we're all here. I said that earlier, when we first joined you all. The future's gonna be way more exciting." Yang had to stop for breath early, still tired. As always she had a lot to say, but for now she would wait.

  • "I have a ride for us. After we all rest from all stuff going on." Red said then took out a Dragon Whistle. And blew it calling upon a Giant, Red Dragon. She looked at the pack. "This is scales. He's my best friend. He'll give us a ride anywhere." Red said

  • "It kind of maters, we just lost hunting ground and a few good sleeping places." Dakota said to Yin as she stood up on her paws. "If we don't find out what had caused it it could happen again. My guess is the hunters, they might be trying to push us into one area." She said and tilted her head a little to the left.

[fancypost borderwidth=0px; height: 240px; overflow: auto; width: 325px; text-align: justify; margin-: -1px; margin-top: -10px;]Zia huffed, glancing around. "We've got to get going. I have no doubt we all need rest and probably a meal. The hunters might be gone for a bit, but the nature is just as much as a threat." She said, looking up at the sky, where the snow was still falling heavily. A shiver ran down her spine from the mixture of the chilly winds and the cold water of the river. She'd suggest trying to find out how the fire started later, but decided to stay quiet.

  • Dakota had just noticed the dragon. I'm really not observant. "How did it get here?" She asked and looked over at Red slightly confused. She was a little more engaged with how the fire started and she titled her head.

  • Templar landed and looked at the dragon. Her own dragon blood that courses through her veins and her own spirit of a dragon, calling out to the one standing before her. She folded her wings and padded close to the beast, a look of awe shown in her eyes. She never believed that a dragon existed after her father died.

  • "I've known him since I was a pup. He always protects me and never gives up." Red said then smiled at scales.

  • Yang
Yang leaped to her feet, forgetting her exhaustion completely. "I AM!" she yelled, practically jumping onto the dragon's back and holding on. She was so excited she was bouncing a bit, and smiling the biggest smile she'd smiled all day. Yin followed, getting onto the dragon a little more hesitantly.

[fancypost borderwidth=0px; height: 240px; overflow: auto; width: 325px; text-align: justify; margin-: -1px; margin-top: -10px;]Zia hesitated. Did she really want to ride on a dragon? She was exhausted and could use a break, but the thought if getting on a huge scaled creature with wings and a probably very sharp row of teeth wasn't really tempting. Momentarily distracted by her thoughts, she didn't notice a new scent nearing them. She only noticed it when a twig snapped in the forest behind them.
Believing it to be a hunter, she spun around and growled defensively, tensing up and her ears flattening against her skull. But when a familiar grinning face popped out between the trees, she stopped growling with a huff and glared at the wolf.
"Kai." She commented with a tinge of annoyance, but was still quite happy to see her friend after so long.

    [fancypost borderwidth=0px; height: auto; width: 327px; text-align: center; margin-top: -5px;]KAI — LION-WOLF HYBRIDWARRIORPLAYFUL | PROTECTIVE | CALM | KIND
    [hr][/fancypost]
[fancypost borderwidth=0px; height: 240px; overflow: auto; width: 325px; text-align: justify; margin-: -1px; margin-top: -10px;][sub]A sandy blonde wolf stepped out from the bushes, though he wasn't like a normal wolf. As Zia's, his paws were different; his claws longer and able to retract and emerge by will. His had a long tail like a lions, longer canines and striking yellow cat-eyes. And of course a large mane, which he himself was very proud of.
Big cat hybrid. To be more precise, Lion hybrid. A lion-wolf.
He shook his mane to get rid of some of the snow that had gathered, then shook the rest of his body to rid it of snow as well. A toothy grin made it's way on to his maw, his longer canines sticking out above his lower jaw.
"That's how you greet a good friend? A simple 'Kai'? Not even an apology for growling?" Kai's deep voice sounded above the crackling of the trees burning, a ting of amusement lacing his teasing words. His amusement flickered through his yellow orbs when he noticed Zia roll her eyes and huff once again.
"I'll take what I can get. By the way, you never told me you had a pack, Zia." He stated, one eyebrow raising, his eyes briefly scanning across the other wolves. Even though he seemed calm and relaxed, his muscles were tensed under his thick fur and his tail was flickering behind him.

Ooc: Added a new character... Because, why not?

  • Dakota slowly moved towards the dragon, a small smile. "Are we going on an adventure?" She asked Red before turning her attention to the new hybrid. How many of us are there? She thought as she looked at him. She shook her head and flicked her tail.

  • Templar heard the word "thing" and snapped. A snarl ripping from her maw as she turned to face Joel. "That dragon is not a 'thing'!" She snarled as her ears went forward and her hackles raised. Her tail swished furiously and aggitadly. She glared at Joel as another low growl emitted from the angry she wolf.
