She'd only lived through one set of them all, and now that the cycle of winter ones were coming around again, she couldn't help but feel a touch of annoyance all too familiar from her kithood.

Throw her unexpected pregnancy, the random hectic events that had sprung up within the clan, and a few other stresses that she pressed down and away, these events developed a dash of hecticness. It sucked.

So here she was again, dwelling once more on her problems as she sat outside of the healers den with nothing in particular to do or tend to. Her pale blue and white blanket that she got from a merchant earlier that month was wrapped around her, for their air that evening was cold. Being winter (which also happened to be her least favorite season) that wasn't a very surprising fact.

A cloudy sigh escaped her jaws. God, she needed something to do.

Perfect! Sunny bounced over to the bored-looking Fahrenheit. She sort of seemed to have her father's demeanor, with the sitting and sighing stuff. That was beside the point, though. "Hey Fahrenheit," the sentry greeted. "Depressed, or just bored?"

  • [fancypost borderwidth=0px; text-align: justify;][size=8]Goblin was never one for sitting and sighing. Rather, he preferred to move about and grunt out his frustrations, or say nothing and go about in stony silence. Call him old fashioned, but he preferred to do something to let it alllll out, rather than settle down and reflect on his life, and miseries, and regrets, and oh no he was crying, and boo hoo, what a wimp, how terrible. He'd lost some grunts. He'd lost this... Person. Did it really even matter? In all honesty, the wolfdog barely cared. If he was ever meant to rediscover the path he'd been set upon, he'd do it, and no amount of thinking and reflecting or even celebrating would do anything.

The holidays. He'd never experienced Christmas before — at least, not in this life. He didn't know if he'd had past lives but if he had, he reckoned he would've ignored the festive times anyway. Wow, some holy kid was born and now a fat man dressed in red runs around giving presents. Woo hoo, party! No. Mister Goblin didn't think kindly of it at all. But what did he know? He was just an ex rogue. A wolf in wolfdog's clothing. And he had pointy lower canines that stuck out of his lower jaw, heh.

Spotting two females (time to go break the streak before it even begun), the canid made his way over, perhaps just because hey — socialisation was good if you were new! "Hey." he greeted, and his tone was short, clipped.

  • Yes, Sunfur was right. Fahrenheit definitely took on a lot of her father's traits. Oh, he missed Courtyardmaster. He would be so proud of his daughters right now. "Hey, Ren." He greeted softly, glancing at Sunfur and Goblin before waiting for Fahrenheit to answer Sunny.

  • [align=center][fancypost bgcolor=; border: none; font-face: times new roman; text-align: justify; width: 450px;]The holidays were awesome in her opinion. True last Christmas she was a new apprentice, but this time she would be going into it as leader. Funny how far one could come in the matter of one year. With a cheerful grin the lioness padded over to where her sister was standing. She knew all too well Renny was a big ol' grumpypants, but this was the time of year for everyone to be as happy so lucky as she was. "Helllooo Rennyrenren!"

Blinking, she lifted her muzzle to look up toward the sentry. Depressed? She sure hoped not. For now, she'd simply label it as stressed. And maybe a little bored and anxious for the time being, too. An odd combination, yes, but oh well.

"Bored," she responded after a short moment of thought, giving the feline a small nod. Her yellow-eyed gaze strayed to the others who'd made their appearances - Goblin, Wildlife, Timestar, and Candykit.

Two, she'd known since her birth - Time and Wild. Sunfur fell into that group as well. Candykit was a relatively new face, though the healer had seen her around. Goblin, on the other hand, was a complete stranger.

After offering a general "Hey, guys," to the group as a whole, she directed her attention to the latter duo. "I'm Fahrenheit. I don't think I've gotten the chance to meet you two yet."

  • Candykit dipped her head. "Well, it's n-nice to meet you, Fahrenheit. I-I'm Candykit," she introduced herself, flashing a small smile.

[align=left][font=georgia]"Hi, Farenheit!" Decemberpup could recognize the distinctive voice that belonged to the she cat and they very strong scent of herbs she carried with her. White fur fluffed up against the winter cold, the small pup bounded over to the crowd with a small grin on her face. She knew the cat from their interaction together on the healing field, and it was a pity it had had to come at such panicked situations. Now she could sit back, relax, and actually talk to the pregnant she cat who was bored.

  • [justify]A lot happened in a year indeed, for others, particularly. Chimera was rather surprised at how uneventful her life had been since birth. She'd climbed the ranks to a full healer, had one boyfriend, and a very significant friend. It was quite lame compared to some of the lives that others had experienced, but she didn't really know what was in store for her.

Winter, as a season, was also Mera's least favorite season. As someone who'd been a part of the medic team for a long time, she really hated how difficult it was to find herbs. The cold in general was bothersome as well. Thinking about it, she'd also never really experienced Christmas, taking into account how young she is, so she couldn't say she was thrilled, especially with nobody special to celebrate it with.

The pretty smoke sat down by the group, nodding a greeting to Fahrenheit and the others.
