Karmi woke up the next morning, at first not remembering where she was. She half had expected to wake up in the dungeon again, darkness surrounding her like a veil. Instead, she woke up in the most comfortable bed she had ever slept in. She felt like she was on a cloud, and she rubbed her face into the pillow to breath in the clean smell. She eventually got up, pushing aside the bed curtains. There was already a warm breakfast on a tray beside the bed and she quietly slipped out to eat it.

ic: Stefan woke up feeling completely different than he had for the past week, and he didn't like it at all. He had his goons bring some breakfast while he sat up and got his addled brain together, nothing felt right and he didn't know why.
-
Garmin looked around the room after she finished her breakfast. She wasn't sure if she was allowed out of her room or anything else, so she took a chance and left the room in her night gown.
-
ooc:
ic: Stefan sat in bed and ate his eggs in an angry sort of manner, trying to think about what was wrong with him and why. He just wanted this nausea to end. He had some lemons brought to his room and Karmin would see people racing around the throne room to his room.
-
Garmin calmly walked past the people, hoping that they wouldn't notice her too much. She thought that maybe,... just maybe she could walked out of the place completely. She knew that if she stayed, she was more likely to have the elder council down her back, trying to force her to marry the gypsy king.
-
ooc:
ic: Stefan already had the council down his back trying to get him to get her to marry him and he waved them off continuously telling them things like, "She won't agree", or "give me more time" and went back to being nauseous with Martha worrying all over him.
-
Karmin made it out to the market area and was relieved to find it empty for the early morning. She made a dash for the exit, holding up the gown so she didn't trip. She climbed up to the tunnel so she could leave as quickly as possible.
-
ooc:
ic: She'd find that at the end of the tunnel stood the brick wall that could not be exited, but she did not know that, and STefan didn't know she was trying to run, so he sat back and sighed.
-
Karmin wound her way through the tunnels, before finally coming to the end. A dead end that she could find no way of opening to the ouside world. She looked around. She had to find some sort of battering ram. A chair!
She quickly retraced her steps to the 'office' and dragged the chair out. -
ooc:
ic: Stefan just laid in bed with Martha tending to his forehead with a cool cloth.
-
Karmin rammed the chair into the wall until it broke into pieces. She yelled in frustration, the sat down on the ground. There had to be some way out. How else could the gypsies leave this place?
-
ooc: so...IDK what to do
ic: -
OOc- okay, I'll have her return to him.
IC-
Karmin finally stormed back down to the gypsies' underground world. She crossed her arms as she walked through the now bustling market, ignoring stares as she was still in the night gown. She walked up the tunnel to the throne room, half expecting him to be waiting there for her to say something like 'I told you so'. -
ooc: Thank you
ic: Stefan looked at the roof for a long while until he decided he'd have to do something more productive. He wondered if Karmin was awake yet, they were probably treating her like the queen they wanted her to be. He pushed Marthat off of him and made his way toward the door, stumbling out into the throne room to see if he could make it to the guest room without fainting.
-
Karmin turned to the tunnel as she heard someone walking down it. She frowned as she saw him, despite what he had done for her that night. "Morning..." She ground out. "Good it is not. Not yet atleast."
-
ooc:
ic: Stefan raised his eyebrow and sighed, she was coming down the tunnel out to the market and he feared that all his merchant friends would be breathing down his back about her as well now, "Not a good morning, no.", he replied.
-
"I mean, who has a doorway that doesn't open both wsys!"she grumbled, crossing her arms in front of her. "Go on. I know you are going to say something. I know you're going to berate me for trying to run away. Go on. Yell, threaten, I've heard it all before."
-
ooc:
ic: "You tried to run?", Stefan just gave her a little questioning look, after all he'd given her? He felt a little worse, "Well, I haven't taught you about the exit...and I probably never will now", he shrugged and turned around, heading toward the marketplace.
-
"What?! You mean you don't use that as an exit?" she said, chasing after him. She had to find that exit, not sure she could live the rest of her life underground with him.
-
ooc:
ic: "No, it's not an exit, we try to be...subtle", Stefan told her simply, he needed some milk and a piece of toast from Avi in the market, they were good friends, so he had no doubt he'd get it for free, even if he didn't though, he was the king, so he had more gold than he had time for.
