    To be honest, you gotta make them interesting for them to count, really. I find that if your characters are dull/monotone and you have 6 of the same type of character then it really defeats the purpose of a good character and a good persona. Make them interesting so that you wanna roleplay them! Do whatever keeps your muse up. I have also discovered that music (making playlists for the character) could help too, or in my case anyway.
