Please, don't be deterred when I say semi-advanced. I want this clan to be active, and the roleplay to be interesting, and so far the semi-advanced label is undecided, however I am probably going to have a requirement for the number of sentences you write (excepts will exist) so that the roleplay stays interesting, but I want to welcome as many people as I can into this roleplay.
I'm not really one for fanclans, they often die out, and roleplayers can be unreliable. However, I want to create a new fanclan, and this time I decided I would search for people who would be interested, and who would actually be active before I start the roleplay. Here you can post and give input as well as state your interest in this clan.
My hopes for this clan are high, though I know it takes a long time to get far with a clan, as well as a lot of dedication. This is one reason for me wanting to find people who would be willing to help me carry this clan farther than most other fanclans go.
I know that one thing that makes a fanclan successful is to be unique, interesting, and to have something that stands out where other clans lack. This is another reason I need your help. I love going through the process of creating a clan, writing lore, traditions, and ranks, but I can't do it all alone. I need help to make this clan stand out from the huge crowd of clans there are out there.
One last note, at some points during this post I refer to members of the clan as cats. This will not be a clan for strictly cats! Like the main clans, they will accept members of many species, and at some point I will allow powers.

This leads me two the progress section. Here I will be posting all the information that I have so far decided on about the clan. Some sections may have multiple sets of information, which contradict each other. These sections are undecided, but there have been ideas as to what they should be.
Clan Name Here
The name for our clan is yet to be decided, this is one thing I'm looking for lots of input on. I don't want it to be the name of something man made, but I want it to be creative and unusual.
Ranks
Here a ? means that the rank name is simply an idea, and not final. If the rank name is navy blue it means the rank was thought up by someone else, rather than me.
Lord/Lady: This is the leader of the clan. They make important decisions, and there word is final.
Legate: This is the second in command of the clan. They leave in the absence of the Lord or Lady ad assist their leader in the making of important decisions.
Healer: This is the healer of the clan. They treat the sick and wounded. Their job is essentially to keep the clan healthy, and treat the next healer.
Healer's Apprentice: This is a cat who is being trained by the healer to take that healers place when they die. If the healer training this member deems them ready, then they can become a full healer before their teacher dies.
Guardians: These members are warriors, but they rank higher in the clan due to more experience, or another quality seen in them by the lord or lady. They are respected by their clanmates.
Centurions: These are members that are active and loyal, they are a step down from Guardians.
Knights: These are typical warriors of the clan. They hunt and fight alongside their clanmates in order to protect and preserve their clan.
Trainees: These are younger members of the clan who are training to become full on Members.
Mothers: These are the queens of the clan.
Kits: These are the kits of the clan. They sleep with their mothers, and are not yet old enough to train.

When two cats decide that they want to spend the rest of their lives together they go through the process of marriage. Typically this is started with either one of the couple proposing to the other, during which they present a wearable item to their partner. The wedding ceremony is held in the main hall, and a healer will speak certain words. During the ceremony, both partners are presented with a feather that they must keep for the rest of their marriage.
