Its only us... {Private}

Reil walked slowly down a street, swinging his now bloody knife with his long slender arm. Stupid human-eaters... he thought to himself as he walked along. "Stupid apocalypse..." He continued out loud. The winded blew against him, making his black hair swish uncontrollably. Reil sighed, glancing at a zombie that was cut in half, horizontally, on the ground. He kicked it with his foot before walking along. I haven't seen a survivor in a while... the thought occurred to him. He gave himself a small smile, chuckling softly as he looked up to the dark sky. "Maybe Im the last one.." He muttered. He made the movement to push his knife back in his holster but was stopped in the action by the sound of loud groans and heavy feet pounding on the ground. Reil stopped walking as he noticed the sounds become louder...

Reil looked at the girl with a questioning look, his eyes darting between her and her gun. "Uhm...sorry?" he said, his knife still in hand.

"Well sorry..." he muttered. He hesitantly stuck out his hand and took hers. "Reil... Im Reil..." He said back, his green eyes still on the girl.

Reil blinked, stepping away from the girl. He shrugged, turning away from her. "I just.. haven't seen another human in a while... well, one that wasn't being eaten... " He said over his shoulder to her. He motioned forward with his hand. "Follow me. I have a safe place about four blocks from here.. unless you have somewhere else you can stay.." he muttered, turning his gaze in front of him now.

Reil shrugged once more, glancing at her as he began to lead the way. "No problem." He pushed his knife into its holster that was placed right above his buttocks.

"I told you." Reil said lowly yet nicely. "You are the only human Ive met in a while now; probably about a year or so." He turned a corner.

Reil nodded. "Yep. A year. Its fine though.. I mean... it hasnt been that lonely... What about you? How long has it been for you?" He asked, sticking his hands into his jeans pockets.

Reil nodded, rounding one last corner. "We are here.." He told her. The two story building was very beaten down. Most of the windows were cracked or just not even there. Blood was stained upon it's outer walls, mixing in with the dark red of the brick. Reil glanced at her. "It's much better looking on the inside... trust me.... " he told her, walking up the three steps that led to the front door. He grabbed the door knob and turned it , having to push it fairly hard for it to open. "Come on in ..." he muttered , stepping into he house, holding the door open for her.

Reil gave her a small smile back. "So this is the main room...." The room was large, with wooden floors. There was a ripped couch in the middle of the room and a chair in the corner. He glanced to the right , were the kitchen. "I have food ... " he muttered, rubbing the back of his head with his hand. "You hungry.?" he looked back down at her.

He shrugged. "Okay, but Im eating... Im flippin hungry.." He said, walking into the kitchen, pulling his grey hoodie over his head. "You can explore if you want... Ill be back out there in a moment though.." He called to her after he had entered the kitchen.
