    Candykit sighed, looking down at her paws. The young feline curled her tail over her paws, somehow making herself look smaller. She wished that there was someone to talk to, that life wasn't so boring, that she could speak up a little more. Why couldn't she? It was hard for her to talk to others. On very rare occasions, she'd be loud and rambunctious, yes. But usually, it was a struggle to approach others, to have others approach her. Maybe if she just forced herself into these situations, she'd get used to it, right? But she couldn't stand how they looked at her, seeing her as small and shy. She was shy, but she hated it. She wished that she was brave enough to do some of the things that she saw others do, even if it was just little things. Flicking her ear, the small kit let out another quiet sigh.

    He didn't exactly know the kit, but decided to greet her anyways. Noticing her thoughtful expression, he padded over, a frown on his face as he pondered over what she could be thinking.     Candykit looked up as Tadashi spoke. "Oh, hello. I'm fine, thank you." Wow, she managed to get that out without a stutter. In a way, she felt like she was lying. But it wasn't like her problems would hurt anybody; they were unimportant. She'd probably sound weird if she told anyone how she felt. So she kept it to herself. Plus, they could most likely sense her awkwardness already. No need pointing it out. "How are you?"

    She nodded in greeting to the others that had arrived. Candykit briefly nuzzled her mother back, a faint smile now on her maw. Oh no, she didn't want to worry Goldenpaw... "I'm okay," she mumbled, trying to smile broader in hopes of backing her statement up.
