    Bree shrugged.
"I feel like I don't belong here..." she murmured sadly, sighing as she rest her face in a hand. She looked to him with a small frown. She felt truly out of place in this home.

  • Teddy was silent for a few moments, frowning himself. 'Perhaps if we got to know each other, you would feel more comfortable in my home. Would that make you a but happier? After all I don;t want any of my guests to feel out of place in my home.' Curiosity glistened in his baby blue eyes. He began to lightly tap his feet onto the floor, creating a steady rhythm.

"I-i don't know... you're so fancy, and well, I'm not..." she murmured a bit sadly, her own fingers creating a beat along with his tapping. She sighed gently, getting up.
    "May I be excused?"

  • Teddy stood up to match her stance. 'Of course you can, I'll clean up tonight. Go up and relax in your room. I'll be in my own room afterwards. ' As he walked past her, he gently brushed his hand next to her, then carried both their plates to the kitchen sink. He scraped the food into the trash and cleaned the dishes. Wiping his hands on the towel, he leaned back against the sink and sighed.

When their hands brushed, a small jolt rushed through her.
Feeling a little bad for not doing her job as maid, Bree headed to her room with a sigh, as soon as she was in, she stripped completely, relief as she put on her pajamas. She then made her way to the bathroom to take care of her hygienic needs. Once finished, she sighed gently, plopping onto her bed.

  • Teddy still needed to take care of a few things in his room. For one, he needed to mail in a few things to some family members. After cleaning up, he walked into his room, then down the stairs again. He opened the front door and walked out to the mail box, putting in a few letters before closing it once again. Just as he was about to head back to the house, a car sped faster and faster until slowing down in front of the house. The engine was cut off, and a girl around the age of 20 hopped out of the car. Her dress was a bit revealing, and her scarlet hair was curled down to her waist. Black pumps finished the outfit. Adelaide.

Teddy turned towards her, a surprised look on his face.

Teddy: 'What are you doing here? You weren't supposed to be here until tomorrow morning.'

Adelaide: 'I know, I just wanted to come inside, I've got exciting news to share with you.'

Teddy had let out an annoyed sigh, and beckoned her to come into the mansion with him. Once inside, they went upstairs into his study.

A small smile playing at her delicate features, Bree lay on her bed, reading a book. Flowers in the Attic. She smelled of fine soaps and shampoos, nice and fragrant. She looked ready for bed, all nice under the covers. No sound was heard other than her gentle breathing.

  • The study had a single oil lamp lit in the far corner. All the chairs had been polished the previous day and everything seemed to be in place.

Teddy: 'Have a seat. What did you need to tell me?'

Adelaide: 'Well, I was deciding on whether I should tell you this now or later but I visited the doctor's office prior today, and he told me that I might be positive for bearing our child. Isn't that great?'

Silence had fallen between them. Teddy brought his hand up to his head and massaged his temple. He hadn't needed for this to happen to him at this moment.

Teddy: 'Weren't you on the pill? Did you stop taking it?'

Adelaide: 'Well the bottle had said I would gain a few pounds, and I didn't want th-'

Teddy: 'Adelaide, please let me rest. I need to prepare for things tomorrow. We'll talk about it in the morning, I promise.'

    Adelaide: 'Okay, good night Teddy.'

A kiss had been given to Teddy's cheek before the red headed girl exited the room, then the house, and finally drove away.

Nothing had been going his way.

Bree could hear the door shut, and she thought it must have been some sort of visitor. She instantly sighed, knowing her job as maid had failed again. She decided later on she may ask what Teddy would like her to do, but for now she just lay, thinking.

  • The night had continued to draw out, and Teddy had collapsed on his own desk. Drowsiness and tiring business had led to a very long day. When dawn came, light had traveled through his curtains, and he slowly blinked his eyes open. He stretched in an almost cat like way, before getting up and grabbing a few spare clothes. He hit the showers once again, and walked back to his room to change. Since he would be hosting a formal event, he dressed in his formal wear: a suit and tie. However, instead of dress shoes, he wore black leather Oxford shoes. Walking out of his room, he swiftly remembered to grab his glasses, putting them on.

The fragile little girl on her bed was still sound asleep, seeming to be completely unbothered by the fact she wasn't woken up yet. Her sweet scent still filled the room, she looked peaceful, tired, yet so pretty in her deep slumber. The only sound that filled the air was the soft murmurs of her from talking in her sleep.

  • Teddy walked down stairs and headed straight into the kitchen. He made himself a cup of coffee, and looked around for the morning paper. There hadn't seemed to be any that was lying around. Sighing, he carried his mug of coffee and headed upstairs. He made a bee line for Bree's door and knocked softly, taking tiny sips of coffee every once and a while.

The door was unlocked, and it wasn't going to be open anytime soon by the oblivious girl. She still lay, sound asleep, snoozing gently as the sun then tried to shone into her room.

  • No one had answered. That hadn't quite struck as being odd to Teddy, although he continued his stance and tried knocking on the door a bit louder adding a, 'Bree, it's me Teddy.' Perhaps she was too enveloped in her own state of slumber to open the door.

The fragile girl woke to the sound of knocking, groaning slightly she got up, going to her door to open it to reveal Teddy. Her eyes then widened, and she rubbed her eyes, trying to fix her hair to look presentable.
"Uh- I'm sorry master..." she murmured.

  • 'Quite fine. Please meet me down stairs in about 20 minutes. If you want to take a shower to brighten up you may.' Teddy took another sip of his coffee before turning around and walking to his study room. He needed to fill out a few more forms before completely starting the day. He took a pen out of his drawer and began to work.

Bree didn't reply to that, just gave a small nod and sighed as she shut the door. She had still wanted to sleep, but saw that she really had no choice, and instead retreated to the bathroom to take a shower.
She got in, the hot water soothing her tense body, and she sighed once more.
Once out, she grabbed a towel, drying herself, and got back into her room to change into her maid outfit.

  • The morning had seemed to pass by quickly, and Teddy had finally finished filling out a few forms. The ring of his door bell had echoed throughout the house, and he quickly retreated downstairs. Opening the door, he had found none other than Adelaide at the front door wearing a horrible frown. 'Where have you been? I've been waiting at the cafe for an hour and you've been here doing what I assume, nothing.' Her tone had been venomous. 'Important documents,' was all Teddy could reply with a short shrug. 'And, I have a party to plan tonight, come in if you'd like.' He left the door open and swiftly turned around to go back into his study.

Bree was eventually finished, it was way past 20 minutes though. She heaved a long sigh, and went downstairs, hearing voices, right before she entered the room though, she stayed back on the stairway to listen to what was hapening, her sneaky nature apparent.

  • Adelaide had taken a seat onto one of the chairs, picking at her nails furiously. Teddy had stepped down the stairs, walking slowly and stopped for a moment to fix one of the backs of his shoes. He looked around, trying to spot out his maid, but he hadn't seen her.
