You are worn down, need for food and water driving you to a cave for shelter. When you pad in you are oblivious to the scent of other cats. You could smell prey and slowly padded towards a small pile near the back of the cave. You are about to take a mouse when something heavy lands on your shoulders. "So you think you can just steal our prey, huh? My tribe has spent its energy getting this food, and no one has the right to take it without my permission!" You are tossed aside and look up at a light silver she-cat with narrowed, greenish eyes. She looked at you, taking in your form and how fit you are. "Perhaps you would like to join?"

"The ... ...." - "The" is the beginning of every name in the Tribe of Drowning Rains.
Good Night/Morning - Night is the tribe's form of day, and Morning is their night.
The Drowning Rain - The Tribe's founder. To say his name is reserved for ceremonies and the worst of curses.
The Star Harvesters - StarClan; The deceased members of the tribe.

Growing Up
An Apprentice ceremony.
Leader : "[Mother's Full Name], are you sure your Kits/Kit is ready for their next stage in life?"
Mother : "I am sure, [Leader's Nickname]."
Leader : "As you wish."
The Kit or Kits will stand behind the Leader
Leader : “[Kit's full name], beside me.”
Kit : -stands or sits beside the Leader-
Leader : “You are of age to be a Trainee, and you will learn our ways more thoroughly in this manner. Will you follow your Ancestor’s paw-steps like we before you have?”
Kit : “I will, in the name of The Drowning Rains.”
Leader : “Then, with my power as Leader, give you, [Kit's Nickname], the Fighter/Hunter [Mentor's Full Name] as your Mentor. He/She will teach you our code and the necessary ways of keeping your tribe safe/the arts of hunting for your tribe.”
The Kit will then sit beside his/her new mentor.
Of Age
A Warrior Ceremony
Leader : "[Trainee's Full Name], you have trained long and hard, and you are no longer a Kit. [Mentor's Full Name], is [Trainee's Nickname] ready for his/her next stage in life?"
Mentor : "Yes, he/she is, [Leader's Nickname]."
Leader : "[Trainee's Nickname], do you promise to use your knowledge for the better of our tribe?"
Trainee : "Yes, [Leader's Full Name], in the name of The Drowning Rains and his Star Harvesters."
Leader : "Then I, [Leader's Full Name], with my power as the Leader, ask The Drowning Rains and his Star Harvesters to look upon this Trainee as he/she takes the next steps in life. May he/she bring this tribe new life and keep us safe. [Trainee's Full Name], I welcome you as a new Fighter/Hunter."
The Trainee will then press foreheads with the Leader and Mentor.
Near The End
An Elder Ceremony
Leader : "[Fighter/Hunter's Full Name], you have served long and hard, and have ground weak and battle worn. You are nearing the final stage of your life. Are you ready to retire from duty?"
Fighter/Hunter : "I am certain, by the name of The Drowning Rains, [Leader's Full Name], I am ready to join the Elders."
Leader : "I, [Leader's Full Name], ask The Drowning Rains and his Star Harvesters to watch you and wait to gather you as you near the final stage of life. May you live to tell us your stories and our history when everyone has forgotten."
Fighter/Hunter : "I accept this new job and hope to fulfill it. As my life draws itself to an end, I will happily retell our history and stories."
The Leader and new Elder will then share one last piece of prey as youths.
New Leader
Nexter : "When our Leader was still young, He/She gave me the role of the Nexter, and it is my duty to Lead now."
The Nexter will touch foreheads with the Leader's dead body.
Nexter : "I will dream and speak to The Star Harvesters, and they will bestow to me the knowledge of the Leader's before me."
The Nexter will look at his family.
Nexter : "When I awake, I will decide the new Nexter."
The Nexter will then bury the Leader with the Elders.
The Nexter
Leader : "I have become our new Leader, and it is now time to decide the Nexter. [Family Member/Friend's Full Name], I have chosen you, for you are trustworthy and have been loyal to this tribe. Do you accept this new role?"
Family/Friend : "I take this as an honor and accept."
Leader : "We thank you for accepting this new role."
The new Nexter and Leader will share prey as new partners.
