The Arena
This year's arena is very dark themed. It is set in a plain of black grass. There is no sun, no clouds, and no day at all. The only light comes from the blood-red moon and glowing, carnivorous trees. If you happen to touch one of these trees' glowing branches, it will surely rip you apart. There is no drinkable water anywhere in the arena, besides a small pond near the west edge. The arena is full of large ponds of blood, which are poisonous to drink. When consumed, the blood leads to a slow and painful death.
The animals that roam this plain are almost all hostile and carnivorous, and they consist of saber-toothed squirrels and large ravens. The only non-hostile animals are small shrews that rarely come out of their burrows.

The Cornucopia
This year, the cornucopia consists of:
Two large backpacks, each containing an 8 inch survival knife, two medium bags of dried fruit, 20 feet of rope, and a large water bottle.
Three small backpacks, each containing a medium water bottle, an orange, and a small hypospray that can heal up to three open wounds
A small bag, containing a dagger and a medium water bottle
A medical kit, containing a large hypospray that heals up to ten open wounds, a small hypospray that heals up to three open wounds, three doses of antitoxin that heals almost all poisons, dozens of alcohol swabs, and a roll of bandage
A steel shield, very durable
Two sleeping bags
One tent
Several bags of beef jerky
A sack of apples
A small, ground-mounted motion detector/video camera that comes with a monitor watch
A large hypospray that heals up to ten open wounds
Three small hyposprays that heal up to three open wounds each
A fifteen inch hatchet
A battleaxe
Two swords
Two bows
Two quivers with twenty-four arrows each
A set of nine throwing knives
A two-foot machete
Three javelins
Hidden packages
There will be five hidden packages, wrapped in brown paper, scattered throughout the arena. RANDOMLY, I will tell you if your character has stumbled upon one of these packages. Do not hunt for them or say you have found one, because only I decide who finds one of these.
Package one is a combat package, containing a sword, a set of six throwing knives, an iron vest, and a package of three strength-enhancement pills.
Package two is a stealth package, containing a nature-scented deodorant to hide sweaty smell, a camouflage paint set, a camouflage paint guide, and a lightweight shock-absorbing vest.
Package three is a survival package, containing thirty feet of rope, a package of nine nutrition pills equivalent to one meal each, two eight inch survival knives, and a half dozen alcohol swabs.
Package four is a medical package, containing a large hypospray that heals up to ten open wounds, one dose of antitoxin that heals almost any poison, six fever pills, and a roll of bandage.
Package five is a consumables package, containing two apples, two large water bottles, a can of energy drink, a loaf of bread, and a bag of beef jerky.

You can make a maximum of three characters, but they must be from different districts.
Rules
Absolutely NO godmoding/powerplaying, no killing or injuring without
permission
RP is in real time, meaning if a day passes in real life, a day passes in RP. If you go two days without posting, your character will be very weak, having not eaten anything.
This is a semi-advanced thread. Minimum of three sentences per post. If you frequently make 1-2 sentence posts, your character will be autokilled.
If making a random comment/chat, use OOC
Cursing is allowed, but don't swear excessively
Play fair, don't take everything in the cornucopia/dodge every hit
Don't be rude to other players
No being invincible, having perfect aim, superhuman strength or speed, etc.
Note that his is an average hunger games, so district 12 has the least chance of survival
Not everyone can have a bow and arrow like Katniss. (Sorry Katniss fans)
Don't argue over the things in the cornucopia. Not everything you need will be readily available there.

Each character may request one sponsor item, but it cannot be too big/game changing. If your character dies, your dead character may sponsor one other still-alive player. The receiver of the dead-player-sponsor may not choose the item, the sponsor will decide what to give them/
