Chris walked into the cafe, plopping down into a seat in front of Riley. "Hey," he said with a smile.

A boy, named Tom. Is Riley's friend, from childhood. You and Chris may start you know, dating. Tom never liked Riley, they were just friends. Riley and Chris spend more and more time together. Thus cutting out the time that Riley spent with Tom. But Tom still gets jealous about it.
Tom already knows.

Tom stirred his coffee as to cool it down. He already ate breakfast so he wasn't very thirsty. "So, do you want to play Frisbee in the park later? I brought mine." He asked Riley.
Where do I come in? cx
He looked at her, "Ok then. Promise me you'll think about it. Ok?" He asked Riley.
Tom flinched at Riley's small out burst, he sighed. The teen took another sip of his coffee quietly. It wasn't a good day for him and Riley, Tom just knew it.
Tom sighed, his friend went through a bit of trauma a couple of weeks ago. "I understand." He said with a nod.
