  • IC: Hawkfur gave a bit of a frown, then replied. "OK then. But hurry, because I'm sure Dreamstar and the others won't be waiting for you. I have some sort of feeling we are going home." Hawkfur started to rush toward the ThunderClan camp, but stopped. What if Honeypaw didn't make it back in time? What if she got lost in the woods? No. Hawkfur had to trust Honeypaw. She wasn't going to make a foolish mistake like that. Hawkfur paused again. Was she being a reponsible mentor? Hawkfur's intentions kept telling her to wait for Honeypaw, but she had a feeling she could return in time. Hawkfur bounded toward the camp, eager to hear if Dreamstar's news really WAS the return of WindClan to campgrounds.

OOC: Ok then, that'll work. I still think that Honeypaw should return to the meeting in time to go though, because awkfur wouldn't just leave ThunderClan without her apprentice...of course, that is up to you. And here is the link to the WC news: ?topic=19397

  • OOC - OK, just post here when you need her and I'll post in that thread.
IC - Honeypaw waited untill her mentor had gone before speeding back to the Riverclan apprentice.
"Don't worry" She meowed, "I'll get you sorted out. Where do you think you are injured? Then I can get you some fresh kill and maybe some leaves or something" She had seen the medicine cat at work before, and the apprentice was sure it couldn't be that hard.

  • "Right here," Poisonpaw rasped. "My head," he meowed. The pangs of pain weren't so great as they had been before, but still significant. He had been in battles before, and had been in worse shape. But then he had known what had happened to him. In this situation he didn't know. Did the blow to his head make him forget stuff?

  • "Since you don't know how you got here, that is probably concussion" Honeypaw meowed. Yes, that sounded right. She studied the back of his head and found a lump from whatever he had hit himself on. "Are you sure you don't know what you hit yourself on?" She asked him, frowning. "Here" She meowed, gently putting some bick leaves from the floor behind his injured head to soothe it.

  • "Yeah..." the RiverClan apprentice murmured. He tried to reach back in his memories. He couldn't think straight. "Ugh!" he spat. He had no idea what had happened to him to get him over the border and in ThunderClan territory!

  • Honeypaw smiled and then sniffed to see if she could scent a mouse anywhere. She found the sent, but it was quite far. "I'll be back in a minute" She promised, and then sped off. Her first mouse, ever. She was nervous as she saw it, totally oblivious to her prescence. Imitating the hunter's stance, she crept up silently, and then...pounced! It was a little too early, and she had to jump quite far, but she still caught it. But she didn't have time to rejoice over her first kill. Hurrying back to the Riverclan apprentice, she set the mouse down next him. "I brought this for you" Honeypaw meowed, pushing it towards him. She felt horribly guilty. She knew that this was against the rules, but what else could she do?! "By the way, I'm Honeypaw" She meowed to him, "What's your name?" Now he was here the least she could do was make conversation, after all.

  • Poisonpaw's eyes widened. She caught a mouse for him? His belly was empty. "I'm Poisonpaw, Thank you H-honeypaw!" he meowed gratefully. The RiverClan apprentice ate the mouse quickly. Guilt crawled up his spine. Was it right to do this? Even if you were...attacked and found yourself on another Clan's territory? Poisonpaw didn't know, he wasn't taught about if being given prey from rival Clan cats was allowed.

  • Honeypaw looked over her shoulder guiltily. "Look, I'm not supposed to be doing this. In fact, I think Windclan is moving back so maybe we're both stealing prey from Thunderclan, I don't know. Either way I should move you to Windclan territory once you get a little better" She meowed, and then her face broke into a smile, "While we're here we may as well talk to eachother. How long have you been training as an aprpentice? You probably heard me and my mentor talking back there"

  • "Not too long," Poisonpaw replied. He didn't want a ThunderClan cat finding them and getting both he and Honeypaw in trouble. No cat had been this nice to him as an apprentice before. "Thanks a lot," he meowed again. He closed his eyes, thanking StarClan for his luck and the kindness of this apprentice.

  • Honeypaw shrugged, "I did what any cat would've done" She meowed modestly, but she couldn't help feeling pleased. Actually, she wasn't sure it was what any cat would've done. Would her mentor have fed a cat from another clan, broken the warrior code? She honestly couldn't guess, but the thought made her feel more guilty than ever. To block it out, she meowed, "So, um, tell me about yourself?" It seemed like a silly question, but she didn't have anything else to ask, after all.

  • Poisonpaw pondered her question. He wasn't sure what to say, but he felt safe with Honeypaw. She wouldn't run back to her leader and tell her about him. "Um, I dunno... I'm not that good at hunting yet.." Poisonpaw meowed. Ugh! he thought. He was horrible at talking! "How about you?" he asked. He forgot about his pain for a moment. Besides, it wasn't as great as before. Luckily he hadn't been too wounded. A blow to the head and a scratch or two. But why was he here?

  • "Uh, I dunno really. I'm pretty boring really. My mother dissapeared during the fire at Windclan, you might have heard of it" She meowed, the pain of loss showing clearly in her eyes. "I - I never even talked to her that much, you know?" Honeypaw shook her head, trying a weak smile, "Anyway, you don't want to listen to me burbling on. Look, not to be pushy, but I kind of - have to move you to WindClan territory. Just that, if I'm moving back home I'll need to care for you there. Or are you well enough to go back home?" In a way, Honeypaw hoped that Poisonpaw was too ill to go home. She enjoyed his company, and secretly he was handsome. If he had to leave...

  • Poisonpaw shrugged. "I'd probably walk into a tree if I tried to walk,” he admitted, smiling wryly. His face turned serious. ”I’m sorry to hear that,” he meowed softly. He had his own tragic history. ”My mother…died when I was born. My father disappeared a bit later…” he said. He hadn’t really got to know his parents all that well. Quickly thinking about something else, the RiverClan apprentice thought about Honeypaw. She looked pretty and was very kind. Surely it would be okay to go with her…

  • Honeypaw laughed softly, but her face also became serious. "Well, we can stay here for a bit!" She meowed, more bravely than she felt. Wouldn't it be good if a Thunderclan warrior stumbled upon them here? Fortunately, they were in a sheltered part of the forest and their scent was masked by flowers, so a cat would have to litrally fall on them to see them here. Honeypaw nodded, glad he was sensitive, but also a little surprised. You didn't really get many toms like that, usually they were in it for themselves and no one else..."I'm sorry about that" She meowed softly, trying to smile sensitively, "I understand, if it's any consolation. I don't know who my father is, so no loss there. But, you know, you still have your clan, and...everything else" She finished weakly, not thinking of anything else to say. "So, uh, you come from Riverclan? What's it like there?" She asked curiously. Honeypaw had seen Windclan of course, smelt it, heard of it, but she had never been there, and that's what counts.

  • "There's a lot of water in it and there's some annoying Twolegs sometimes. I don't know it all that well. There's fish in the plenty of prey so long as the Twolegs aren't poisoning the fish," Poisonpaw answered. "Some cats are...odd," he said. Did Honeypaw find him odd? "I'm also learning how to swim. I don't like getting my fur wet but I'll get used to it," he continued. "Do you remember WindClan?" he asked. It was a while ago.

  • "Oh" Was all Honeypaw meowed, and then she laughed. A pretty, tinkly sound that seemed to fill the air. "Well, I don't think you're odd, if that's what you're worried about" She grinned at him, wondering if he was worried about that. "And no...not really. I mean, I was only a kit and everything" This fact shamed Honeypaw. The fact that she could barely remember her own home. It was windy, of course, but any cat could remember that. But not her. She remembered the fire, of course. Every single second of it in startling detail. Wailing for her mother, over and over...Honeypaw shivered, and then returned back to the present. "No, I remember it a little" She shrugged.

  • The RiverClan apprentice relaxed. He was glad she didn't think he was odd. He definitely didn't think she was! Poisonpaw didn't want to press on the subject of her home any further. The time she had been there was during the fire. He ddin't want to unearth her memories. "I'm glad leafbare is over. We can get fat again," he meowed, chuckling at his last few words. No cat liked leafbare.

  • OOC: Just to keep you updated, but I think WC has returned. xD I've been away for awhile so I should have warned you sooner.

  • OOC - Gosh, I am so sorry I haven't posted in this for three days. In future, never feel scared to RP me to remind me. I am such an idiot at times -_-
IC - Honeypaw nodded. "I hate leafbare" She meowed, pulling a face, "Newleaf is lovely, when all the new things grow and animals come out again. I've been looking forward to a good helping of prey for ages..."

OOC - Right, we need to sort this out. Santy, can we kind of skip ahead in her training? Not to the end, just a bit futher on. Pretend she's learnt more stuff about fighting and hunting now. Rachel;;I think, since Windclan has returned home, that in this thread Honeypaw says goodbye "forever" but then she can't forget. She sneaks out onto Riverclan territory to look and bumps into Posionpaw again, a bit startled. But they get chatting and, yeah...the "crush" starts.
D'you reckon we should just keep this as a forbidden love kinda thing, and not over-complicate it?

  • OOC: Okay. :)
IC: Poisonpaw thought of the juicy mice and the fish returning to feed their tummies. He nodded. Every cat savored newleaf. He felt uncomfortable. "Are....you supposed...to go back to your Clan?" he asked, a little sad Honeypaw would eventually have to leave.
