[glow=red,2,300]In the Cell with Carla, Prince and Aqua[/glow]

At first the Ignis didn't reply to anything that Carla said. Only when the blue haired one exited did the blonde haired one, known as Prince, address them. He looked down at Carla as she marched up to him, still appearing small compared to him. He stayed silent during her ranting until she was done. When she flipped her hair and put her hands on her hips, Prince sighed. "You think your so strong, don't you? But your just a little girl without your gun." He taunted. But he didn't smile, like the others did. He just had this ominous, straight face. He then began to start his rebuttal. "You claim that you have done nothing wrong. But no matter what, you have. You have kidnapped our Princess and brought her to this place of Earth. You have brainwashed her and changed her beliefs." Aqua had changed quite a bit from when she first met the gang. She was more evil and manipulative before. But now, she was mainly just mischievous. Since her turning slightly good they believed it to be brainwashing. "On top of that, even if you plead that you didn't do those two things, you somehow influenced her to become mostly-human. And you can only become another species to a certain point in our law. Which she has passed. And even if you didn't influence her to do this, she still did it. Broke law. She also needs to be held up because her actions are now not predicable. She had to be held up while she's in this mental state." At her complaint of not having any cloths to wear he once again rolled his eyes and sighed in slight irritation. "May I remind you that it was your idea to take your cloths off and be in only a bathing suit? And you've been here for a few moments. You can't assess that we don't give our prisoners rights." He walked away from the door that his back was too. It was locked though, with many external locks that you couldn't see from the inside. But they were there, so they wouldn't be able to get out. He went over to a space on the wall that just looked like it was plain. But he somehow seemed to pull on something and it opened like a panel. Inside were blankets and cloths of various types. He grabbed a pair of jeans and a long sleeved shirt before he shut it then walked back over to Carla. He shoved them towards her, then walked back over to the door. He leaned against it, and ran his fingers through his blonde hair.

This whole time Aqua had been completely silent, but she finally spoke. "Brother." she said quietly, which seemed kind of loud for the quiet space they were in. He didn't look at her, but an emotion for one moment flashed in his eyes. He had a soft spot for his sister but he quickly covered it up. "What?" he scowled. "Carla is right, they didn't do anything. It was my ignorance that got me here. I wanted to make our people proud and show them that I wasn't just some little girl. So I ran away at night, but then there was a malfunction. And I crashed onto Earth. These people have nothing to do with it." she said. Her previous, childish and mischievous aura seemed to diminish. She almost seemed more... royal, at the moment. Like she wasn't 16. Princes eyes still didn't meet hers. "How dare they put such lies into your mind!" he seemed to growl. "They will pay!" he sent a vengeful look Carla's way. "It is no lie! Listen to me!" she pleaded. "You are delusional. The things you say will not be accounted for." Aqua sighed, knowing there was almost no way she was going to get through to him. But she kept trying. "I never thought I'd go back. So I simply adapted. I thought I was lost forever. No wrong doing's have taken place." she told him. His attitude did not change. "They made you think that. Forcing you to be one of them. Making you think that we'd never find you." Aqua closed her eyes, and clenched her fists. She gritted her teeth as a single tear ran down the girl's cheek. "Prince, Listen to me..." he gave no reply.

Everyone looked at the newcomer with a suspicious, concerned and fearful look in there eyes. They slowly stood up from their seats and Franziska dared to speak. "We'll go with you, if you tell us what's going on." she told the man, her tone cautious. The black haired man got a menacing grin. "All in good time, pretty lady." he said, and he lead everyone outside. Pushing them from the back so that they wouldn't run away.

Once they were out in the open, he lead them to a spot that was shielded from public view. "Link hands." he commanded, holding out his own two. No one moved at first, before he growled it again in a more forceful tone. And Maya quickly took one of the man's hands. Phoenix took Maya's other hand, and then Anastasia's and squeezed both of theirs in an attempt to comfort them. They had no idea what was going on but they were all going to get through this. Just like their many other crazy happenings. Franziska took Anastasia's other hand and Edgeworth took Franziska's other hand, linking back to the black haired Ignis. He tapped the side of his head onto his shoulder, activating something that was behind his ear. And they all teleported.

[glow=purple,2,300]Back at the Cell With Everyone[/glow]

They had teleported into the same bleak cell that Carla, Aqua and Prince were in. Once they were there the man quickly took his hands away from the humans. Which he considered vermin. "Nice work, Shadow." Prince said to him. Shadow gave him a slight nod and said, "Wasn't too hard." the man seemed dark in general.

Maya looked around at their surroundings and the first thing her eyes landed on was Aquamarine. Chained to a wall, her head hanging down and pressed against her chest. "Aqua!" she squeaked in fear, running over to her chained friend. "Maya. I'm glad to see your safe." Aquamarine said in a small voice. Maya hugged her, the best she could. A few tears ran down Maya's face and she whispered to her friend. "I don't know what's going on. Or why we're here. But we'll get out, just as we always do." Aquamarine seemed slightly doubtful about her own escape, but her friends were getting out no matter what. "I know we will. You never fail." Suddenly Prince spoke and commanded, "Away from the Princess!" and Maya reluctantly stepped away, shaking. His voice sounded terrifying. Phoenix pulled her back and held her in his arms. Trying to make her focus on the two Ignis in front of them instead of Aquamarine.

Franziska, at the sight of seeing her new friend chained to a wall, grew increasingly angry about this. "What have you done?!" she demanded. The girl reached down, trying to find the whip that was always wrapped around a loop that was sewed onto her skirt. But.... It wasn't there. Prince held it up in a taunting motion. "No weapons in a prison." he said with a smirk. Franziska started to charge for him, wanting to beat him to a pulp and get her whip back in the process. He flung his hand out though, and she stopped immediately in mid step. She was frozen, and could only seem to blink and breath. He made a tsk, tsk noise and said, "Rebellions aren't going to help you." and then he flung her back, but not hard enough to hurt her. "Polarity." he said to everyone, with a wink. Meaning he could move things at will, like telekinesis.

Franziska was soon standing next to the group again, and Edgeworth asked her if she was alright. Once she confirmed this Edgeworth went to Carla and was glad to see that she wasn't chained up like Aqua. "Are you alright? Did they do anything to you?" he asked her in a whisper, not sure if the Ignis would approve of them socializing or not. He assumed so, since they were all in the same room.

Maya took a step forward, being released from the safety of Phoenix. "I demand an explanation." she said bravely. She wasn't going to sit back and be afraid like before. She had to do something about this. And this had to do with the law anyway, so she could help with this. Right? At her request the blue haired Ignis stepped back into the room again. Closing the door behind her. All of the Ignis turned back to their more transparent forms than the ones they had before. Which looked human. "If it's an explanation you want, it's an explanation you'll get." she said, and everyone seemed to quiet down to listen.

"You have all broken Ignis law to an extreme. You've kidnapped our princess, brainwashed her, and turned her 95% human. All of these on the higher end of criminal punishment. Thus these offenses combined, and you get the ultimate punishment. Our decision. Killing you would be too easy, too swift and not fun. Besides, torture seems to be the most effective form of convincing the criminal to not commit their acts again. These acts you have committed have effected our planet greatly, which is the main reason for your conviction. When you kidnapped our princess the planet went into panic. We still had the king and the queen at that time, but they were very old. Their stress over their daughter... caused them to die too soon." The girl paused, and looked to Aqua. Wanting a reaction but; she didn't get one. How strange. But at the same time, she knew why. "So we had no leader, we went into anarchy. Prince here though returned our planet to order. But he refused to change his name to King, as he was certain that his sister would return. I was put in charge of his army forces. And we put together a program to locate Mistress. And we soon found our kidnappers, you. And for what you have done to our planet will cause you great suffering." and then she stopped, and her explanation was finished. Though everyone was waiting for more.

Phoenix walked up so that he was standing next to Maya. He had a determined look on his face as he spoke to the blue haired Ignis girl. "Your accusations are wrong! There was no kidnapping, we have done no such thing. I can give you evidence to support this. I'm sure you have court on your planet, correct? You seem fairly close to humans. And speak English. So we demand to be given a fair trial!" The blue haired girl just laughed, and walked up to Phoenix. Staring at him straight in the face. "Yes, we do have a court system. But you will not be tried in it. You humans, you lie. You fabricate evidence. Your crime is so great that it doesn't need to be tried." She said, her voice sounding taunting as she laughed. "We were never a kind species before. Why do you suddenly care about fairness and their punishment?" Aqua said, speaking up again. But she did not look up. The blue haired Ignis turned to her. "We may not have been 'kind' but we've always been fair. And we shall uphold that." she stated. "This isn't fair! Not giving us a trail just shows how unfair you are!" Phoenix hissed at her. "Your punishment is reasonable. You can't do anything about it anyway." she said with a smirk, going to stand by the two boys again.

Edgeworth finally seemed to speak up after the argument with Phoenix and the girl seemed to calm down. "There's one thing that has been bothering me. Besides the obvious." He said, looking to the blue haired girl. "One, what is all your names? Two, Aqua-" he was cut off by the blue haired girl as she corrected him, "Mistress." he paused for a moment, as if not wanting to say it. "Mistress." he finally choked out. "said that the names given to royalty were their titles. And they weren't given an actual name. If she's the princess, then why isn't she called Princess? Or queen?" he asked her curiously, raising an eyebrow. The grin on the blue haired girls face came crawling back. "This here, is Prince." she said, gesturing to the blonde one. "This one is shadow." she gestured to the black haired one. "And I am Sky." she said, finishing the introductions. Sky seemed to pause as if she was hesitant to answer Edgeworth's second question. But she eventually just shrugged as if answering it wouldn't be a big deal. "When she took the throne and her parents passed her name would become Queen. You are correct. But at the time she was called Mistress because... that's what her father saw her as." she said, letting out a crackling laugh. Maya gasped, and she had a flashback of the kidnapping situation they were in.... how terrible. She couldn't believe that Aquamarine had to grow up with that. At the mention of this, Aqua didn't react. As she hadn't been this whole time. But Prince seemed to grit his teeth, in anger. Shadow hadn't reacted or talked this whole time. He was not really involved in the royal history, and was just quiet in general. "But." Sky said, "A certain brother of hers prevented the King from carried out what he wished. And was greatly punished for it. Constantly." at the mention of this, Prince actually seemed to smirk as he looked down at the floor. And he mouthed the words to himself, At least he never touched her. Edgeworth opened his mouth again, but Sky continued to cut him off. "Don't ask about Powers. You'll know in due time." and he closed his mouth. Though they already knew Prince's power. Sky seemed to be pondering something for a moment before she said, "We might be getting another Ignis in. Not sure though, they were debating on helping with the operation or not. (I made her say this just in case you wanted to make an Ignis character too.)"

Prince didn't flinch at the remark that Carla made about him being a peasant. It was like he completely ignored it. But Aqua was obviously tempted to say something. But she kept it in. She was worried that her comment would make her brother react in a way that she'd regret.

Prince raised his eyebrow as Carla started ripping her jeans up into shorts. Shadow, actually chuckled at this. "Nice style, girly." he said to her with a smirk. Prince looked at the scattered jean parts and sighed. He picked them up and walked back over to the door. "I hope your happy now." Prince said with sarcasm. As Carla fell over Sky looked over her toppled body to see the other two Ignis standing behind her.

Sky had a welcoming smile on her face as the two got there. "Ah! Your finally here. A bit late, yes?" She asked, but she obviously didn't seem to care. She as the two walked towards her she gave them both a hug. Her demeanor with them was completely opposite from how she treated the prisoners. "Ah, Genshi can do whatever he wants with the prisoners." Sky said, waving her hand in dismissal. "The Princess... isn't doing so well. She's still under the brainwash of the humans but in our presence she seems to have reverted back to a more serious attitude." she reported. She glanced over at the Mistress and seemed to have a worried expression... but something else gleamed behind her eyes.

"We should leave the prisoners and discuss our plans." Shadow said, speaking up in his rare occasion. prince looked at Shadow, then to Sky as he gave a nod of agreement. Sky seemed to get the message and she turned back to the two newest recruits. "Genshi, Kasai, come." She turned and opened the door, gesturing for the Ignis to exit. As the door was open, Prince held his hand up and froze the prisoners so that they didn't escape. Sky went through the door and left it open so that the last person in the room, Prince, could go out. He looked to Aqua for a moment and whispered, "I'm sorry. I will help you." but it was so quiet, that the whisper was easily heard. He then slipped out of the room, and his grip on the prisoners was gone.

Edgeworth helped Carla up from the ground after she had been shoved down by that Ignis guy, who's name was apparently Genshi. "Are you alright?" he asked her, glancing over her head for injuries just in case. He wasn't sure how powerful that man shoved her to the ground.

Maya turned to look at everyone that was in the group and she seemed determined. Once the actually punishment began, this would probably deteriate. But she tried not to think about that so she could keep this demeanor. "Alright! We can get out of this. We need a plan. What should we do?" she asked everyone, looking around with her hands on her hips. Phoenix spoke up and said, "We should find a way to get Aqua unchained." Franziska talked next as she realized the flaw in what Phoenix said, "We need to find a way out first. If we unchain Aqua first, and have no way to leave, then the Ignis might make it harder for us." she pointed out. Phoenix nodded as he was logically thinking. "Very true... But the only way out of this room is that door. How are we going to get past that? It's locked." he asked. "And I can't be unlocked from the inside..." Maya looked at him curiously, "How do you know that?" she asked. Phoenix pointed to the door, "No lock hole." She nodded in understanding and didn't even think to look herself before. Franziska said, "Well, maybe Aqua's powers can help us? She said she's the only one that could remove the necklace to make her Ignis again..." Phoenix grinned and nodded, "Your right! But the Ignis have probably thought about that. Besides, if she's the only one that can get it off how are we going to get it off?" he questioned. "Aqua could take it off, right?" she suggested. "no," said Franziska, "Aqua doesn't have the power to move things with her mind and she can't reach her neck, she's chained up." she pointed out. "Your right... but there must be some way we can get past that." she said, "Something just seems off about it." Maya then looked to Carla and Anastasia as she asked, "Do you two have any ideas?"

Prince shut the door behind him and made sure every lock was in working order. He turned to face the group that was in charge of this mission. Right now they were in a room that worked as almost a lobby with hallways coming from it to lead to other rooms. He stepped in with the circle that formed of them as they talked. "Alright." Sky slammed her fist into the palm of her other hand. "We need to think of their punishment. No one gets away with hurting the princess. It looks like that over their life time they've gone through both mental/emotion torture and physical torture. So what's left for us to do?" she questioned, looking around at everyone. "Both." Shadow said simply. Prince nodded as he was thinking then said, "But how?" and the three were silent. "We should go over our powers. That'll help us find out what we can do." Shadow then said, looking nonchalant with his hands in his pockets. Prince raised his hand a bit and said, "Move things with my mind." then let his hand fall to his side again. "Nightmares." Shadow said, flipping his hair to the side with his hand. "Adapting another's powers." Sky said. Though her power could only last for a short amount of time, and would need to recharge before she could use it again. Sky then looked to Genshi and Kasai as she asked, "What can you two do again? And what ideas do you have for their punishment?"

Edgeworth frowned at her response, then helped her off the ground. His eyes didn't give away anything that he was feeling right now, it was masked. He was trying to stay in a logical sense of mind and figure out a way of escape. He then looked over at Aqua and examined her state. She had changed so much but yet, hadn't she only been chained? It was strange behavior that he'd have to investigate. Edgeworth walked up to the chain and examined it. "I don't believe it's Iron. It looks... bumpy?" he questioned, reaching forward to touch it. But Aqua's head flew up and she hissed, "Don't!" but it was too late. He had already touched it.

He was practically flung back, but was soon able to regain his balance. He held his wrist and flicked his hand, as if trying to dismiss the pain. He was wincing and his eyes were shut tight. Franziska was by his side and examined his hand. It almost appeared to have a burn on it, and something seemed to be seeping into his hand. Her eyes widened and she looked back at Aqua for an explanation.

Aqua hung her head again, eyes staring at the floor. "He's right. It's not Iron. It's called Maegh, a rare mineral. By touching it for the first time you can close your eyes and give it a purpose. Something it can do. This one's purpose seems to be to drain energy and influence your thoughts." at the mention of influencing thoughts Edgeworth seemed to nod a small bit. "I'm getting images..." he whispered. "Resist them. Think of your friends." his eyes stayed closed and he seemed to be focusing. "It's a constant thing. But Edgeworth will be fine, he only touched it for a split second so it will simply wear off. His body will destroy the bit that got into him." she explained. Franziska seemed to let out a breath she didn't know that she was holding, relief was obvious in it. He seemed to suddenly wince though, his face scrunching up and she enveloped him into a hug. He seemed to calm down, and he eventually opened his eyes. "I'm fine..." he murmured, and she let go of him.

"It can only be broken by the person that put it there." Aqua continued. "Like my necklace, only Prince can unlock it. As you can see, it doesn't have a key hole." she shifted her shackle a bit and it revealed that it was completely solid. "So... you'll have to trick him." Aqua concluded. Then grew quiet again. "What if they use that chain stuff on us?" Phoenix asked suddenly. "They won't." Aqua concluded. "They won't have any more of this. Is superior in rareness, and this is the only time that I've even seen it myself. Even if they did have more, they would want to hurt you with their own two hands instead of letting a metal do it." that thought was unsettling. And it made Maya shiver. It was horrendous just how much these people wanted to torture them.

Maya though tried to keep her sane mind in function. Though she was starting to be overtaken by worry for Aqua. If it effected Edgeworth that badly, then what was it doing to Aqua? She took a deep breath then looked at everyone with a serious look in her eyes. "Alright, then we have step one of our plan. Get Prince to unlock her. But then what?" she questioned. Everyone was silent for a moment, but Maya spoke up again. "Prince would have to be in the room, and depending on the means of us convincing him, he might still be on the opposing side..." she said, trailing off. She then looked between Carla and Anastasia, waiting for their opinion on the matter.

Prince looked to Kasai as she said that they should kill a few. "A few? No. All! How dare they even lay a finger on her-" it was obvious that he was starting to get angry, his fists clenching but Sky was quick to interrupt him. Though Prince was supposed to be the leader it seemed Sky was intent on being higher than him. "Calm down. Not now, torture first. Then when they get boring we can kill them off. If they haven't killed themselves by then." she said with a devilish chuckle.

The three Ignis watched as the other two demonstrated their powers. All of them nodded and shared glances, seeming impressed by their abilities. They all would have many possibilities with this kind of combination. "You can rip them apart at the end, Genshi." Sky said to him in comfort. Then they were all silent for a few minutes. Each of them trying to for some sort of plan.

Suddenly, Shadow let out a small chuckle. "What is it, Shadow? Did you think of something?" Shadow grinned and he did a small nod. "I can control Nightmares, so that includes negative illusions. We can give them the illusion that one of us is killing them. But we actually just took one out of the room." he suggested. prince's eyes widened a bit at this. But he got a smile in approval and he said, "That sounds like a brilliant idea. We can give the illusion that Kasai is burning one of them." and he glanced over at the red haired Ignis. Sky hadn't made a comment, but she did now. "That does sound promising. We could even give the false illusion that one of them is killing their friend. Kasai, Genshi, what do you think?" she said, asking the other two Ignis' opinion.

Edgeworth looked to Carla as she approached him. "Don't you dare-" he started to say but she had already taken his hand as sucked part of the pain into her. He quickly pulled his hand away from her but was too late. He quickly thought of something, and put his hand back on hers. With intent thoughts of drawing it back to it's source, it came. and It was sucked back into him, he quickly walked as far as he could away from her and shook his hand a little more, wincing. But soon, he stopped and let out a small sigh of relief. "It's gone." he confirmed. It only tingled a little now.

And everyone cringed just slightly as Carla yelled. What was she thinking? They didn't even know how they were going to convince Prince!

After the other two Ignis agreed with their idea, they all shared a nod. "Great, lets-" Sky was interrupted by Carla yelling that she had to go to the bathroom. The blue haired Ignis rolled her eyes and said in agreement with Genshi, "She is a huge brat. Prince, go take care of that." she commanded him. But the boy was already on it, walking towards the door and unlocking it.

He stepped inside and closed the door behind him. He didn't pay much mind to the people as he walked over to another corner of the cell. He pushed on the wall and it seemed to function as a door, opening up to reveal a bathroom. Prince was the only ones that could control these too, since he could move things with his mind. "Here," He said simply, gesturing into the bathroom for Carla. He seemed like he wasn't focusing on them right now, like he was thinking of something else.

Maya was next to Carla and she whispered to her in the quietest voice she could, "What are you going to do? you gotta plan or something?" she was quiet enough that Prince didn't hear her. He was too distracted by his own thoughts anyway.

Sky sighed once more and said, "Now that we have that out of the way..." she trailed off and looked at the group that now only consisted of four. "One more thing to think of and part one will be in action. Who are we going to pretend to kill? It has to be the most impactful one. Even though everyone will be impacted by whoever dies, we need to find the most... relied on. Who would you think that too be?" She questioned. They had studied these people before they attacked them, so they might have a slightly good guess. But Shadow stayed silent on the matter and Sky looked for an answer in the other two Ignis.[align=center]

Sorry if this post is a little short, I typed a longer one but then the web site temporarily shut down and didn't post it. So I got a bit frustrated and just wrote a smaller one XD

Maya just shook her head and face-palmed as Carla went in there without a plan. What was the point of her doing that anyway? Oh well, whatever she was doing couldn't hurt. She turned back to Anastasia as she started to suggest a plan b. "We could always force him to touch it." It seemed like Aqua wanted to say something about that, but she was growing too weak. "Play with Time..." was the last thing she said before going unconscious. Maya ran up to her and checked her real quick. "She's fine." she confirmed, before turning around to face them again. "But what does that mean? 'play with time'?" she questioned.

Prince let out a little noise of disapproval as he was pulled into the bathroom with Carla. "I'm not sure why you want me in here.... Or why you'd care about how I guard my prisoners..." he gave her a suspicious raise of the eyebrow there. But he didn't care too much, it didn't hurt to keep any eye on them when they were anywhere but the cell. At her suggestion he reluctantly turned around then awkwardly glanced at the ceiling. He gritted his teeth a bit and said, "Just do your business."

[glow=red,2,300]The Ignis Blame It On The Boogie[/glow]

Sky nodded, and juggled the two suggestions in her head to see which was better. For now she couldn't see much of a difference but Shadow pointed something else. "Since we don't know much about them socially, we should take the black haired girl." he said without further explanation. Sky looked over at him curiously and asked him, "Why is that?" he sighed, and scratched the back of his head. "She's physic. I can sense it. Physic's always have more opened minds, so if you took the power of Aqua we could search her memories and find more about all of them. Including their social feelings for each other. And what they're tactically planning." but that was all he explained, leaving some ends loose. So Sky tried to patch it up as she asked, "So your saying that it'd be good to make a tactical move like this first before we really try to hit them with something emotional and/or physical?" Shadow simply nodded in response. Sky seemed to ponder this, it made sense. "Why did we put them in one room again? If we separated them we wouldn't need to see what the fools are probably planning..." he said, but was cut off by Sky. "To give them false hope, of course. Besides, whatever they come up with won't work anyway." she said with a dismissal wave of her hand. She looked at the other two Ignis and asked, "Are we in agreement?"

Sorry I didn't have any titles on this one, I was a little rushed! And I hoped the way Prince got out of her lock didn't seem to much like power playing...

Sky pondered Kasai's want of assessing them separately. "Well, since we already have them like this lets first assess them as a group and see how they deal with death of one." she said, "Then we'll separate them." Shadow didn't seem to have any objections. It made sense, they were taking the plan from every angle. But he wondered if that meant they were going to let the humans see Maya again later. "Alright, lets get a move on with this! I'm really excited. We can work out what else we'll do to them later."

Maya looked back to Anastasia again and she wondered about that possibility. "That makes sense. But stall for what? What are we waiting for?" she questioned. But that was when Prince and Carla came back out into the cell.

Prince let out another sound of surprise as Carla suddenly dragged him to the ground with her shorts and secured him on it. Demanding information. His mind raced, finding a way to get out of her hold. It should be easy, he was bigger and more than likely stronger. He also had the ability to move things with his mind. But he'd go along with her little game for a few more seconds. His voice sounded hoarse and chocked, "It's a rare mineral and that's all we have of it. I was the first one to touch it, so I programmed it to suck out your energy slowly and influence your thoughts. Trying to turn her back to the Ignis she once was. Not some human tainted one. Only I can unlock it by holding her shackles and commanding them to fall off." he then paused for a few seconds, catching his breath since he couldn't breath well in the strain. "Now... wasn't it you that said these shorts, actually jeans, were made of cheap material?" he questioned. He forcefully pulled his arms out from her grasp and grabbed onto the shorts. Since they were already kind of ripped, it helped the process right along. As he made a slight grunt noise, and tore the shorts in two. He was quick to get up, but his waist was still wrapped by her legs. Simply, at this point so that he could get out, he moved them with his power then shot up into a standing position. "You must be an ignorant human. Thinking you can trap an Ignis? Especially one like me? Ha. I'll see to your punishment being even more severe." he told her with a wicked grin. He opened the door again and shoved her back into the cell. He went over how much information he had told her in his head... It was no more than what Aqua knew. So he shouldn't get in trouble for it. He shut the door behind them after he had turned the water off. then he went to the other panel again and threw a new pair of pants at her. He didn't say anything more to any of them, all of them watching the two with a curious glance. What had gone on in there?

Prince walked up to their cell door, and opened it up just enough so that his head could fit through. He was about to call for the other Ignis to come in but Sky and Shadow were already approaching him. He opened the door wider and let the four Ignis fill in. Shadow stood a bit off to the side, his hand seeming ready. It almost seemed like a dark ball was being messed with in his hand... but with Shadow, you never knew what was reality and what wasn't. Prince was ready to hold any of the humans in place if they were about to interfere. Shadow glanced at Kasai, waiting for her to take action and pretend to burn Maya.

Shadow smiled and let out a small, intimidating chuckle as he created the illusion of Maya dying right in front of their eyes. He made sure to put some detail into it to make it look convincing. It sure did it's thing. Prince was secretly preventing the real-alive-Maya from moving. And making her watch her own fake death. Maya couldn't move but she got the most terrible feeling inside of her, as she was floated out of the room. Shadow still keeping the illusion around her that caused everyone to not be able to see her. Even Prince couldn't see her, only shadow could. Prince then left the room, secretly levitating Maya with him. Sky then followed him out, and secretly showed him to the separate cell that she'd be held in.

All three of them, Edgeworth Phoenix and Franziska, started to dash forward to help Maya. But Prince used his other hand to halt them as well and they couldn't move. They couldn't do anything but watch one of their best friends burn before their eyes. And when Prince left, they were finally let out of his grasp and they could move again. Edgeworth looked horrified, his eyes wide and his hands trembling. Franziska covered her mouth, and tried to not cry at what she had just seen. But Phoenix's reaction... his reaction was much more severe.

The first thing he did once he was able to do was charge at Kasai, yelling in the process and getting ready to knock the girl out. But shadow was quick to slide in front of her and ram his elbow into the oncoming face, then slam a really powerful kick into his stomach which made Phoenix fly back a bit. Prince had come back after he left Maya with Sky. He held out his hand and prevented Phoenix from doing anything else. Shadow turned around and ushered Kasai and Genshi outside, then Prince closed the door and allowed Phoenix to move.

Phoenix then charged at the door, a look of pure anger and rage was on his face. It had practically turned all red and flames were practically burning in his eyes. He started punching the metal door- with his bare hands. He yelled out in anger as he did this, and a few burning tears fell down the boy's face. He had actually made a slight dent in the pure metal door, but his white knuckles were starting to split and bleed. He stopped, then banged his head on the door a few times which caused his forehead to bleed slightly as well. He turned to look at everyone and they seemed kind of afraid to approach him.

His eyes landed on Carla. Everyone had the expected reaction at Maya's death, shock and sadness. But Carla... she just seemed to stand there to him. He thought that maybe she didn't care. And that bothered him... so much. So he stomped up to her, his footsteps echoing in the silent chamber. He got right in her face and seemed devilishly scary. He had never been like this before. "Maya just died..." he said to her, his voice low with a hint of a growl. "And you don't even seem to care?! WHAT THE H*LL?!" he ended his sentence with a shout, as he spat out the words. He searched her face one more time before he spun around and marched back over to the door.

He began to bang on it again, this time shouted to the Ignis that were outside. "YOU B*STERDS! YOU KILLED HER! HOW COULD YOU KILL HER?! YOUR ALL COLD-HEARTED, EVIL IDIOTS!! DO YOU KNOW WHAT YOU'VE DONE?! HUH?! YOUR GOING TO PAY FOR THIS! WHATEVER IT TAKES I WILL GET MY REVENGE!!! DO YOU UNDERSTAND!?" He punched the door one more time as hard as he could and he screamed, "GIVE HER BACK TO ME!" Then he stopped, momentarily, his fists resting against the door as well as his forehead as he breathed heavily. Edgeworth then approached him, and spun him around on his shoulders. Then he...

Punched him in the face.

Phoenix shook his head and growled at Edgeworth, "What the H*ll was that for?!" Edgeworth looked at his friend with a stern look in his eyes and said. "To snap you out of it! Wright, I realize that your angry. I can understand that, your best friend Just died. It makes perfect sense. But we still need to think about how to get out of here and we need you in the right state of mind to do so." Phoenix did seem a bit calmer, but he was still angry and upset. So he didn't reply to anything Edgeworth said. Edgeworth then whispered, "I'm angry about this too and we'll see to it that someone does something about it. But we need to focus right now." he patted his friend's arm and then walked back over to the group.

Phoenix on the other hand didn't walk over to them, he just leaned against the wall. He forcefully shoved his hands into his pockets and looked down at the ground. He had moved from anger to sorrow, and you could almost see the black color of sadness and anger radiating around him. Franziska though was crouched next to the burn marks that were on the floor. She looked like she was examining something. Edgeworth looked down at her and asked her, "What's wrong? Something weird about the marks?" she was quiet for a moment then looked up at him. "Ashes." she answered. "What?" he questioned. "There's burn marks, but no ashes. If something burns, there should be ashes." Edgeworth's eyes widened a bit and he nodded in understanding. "Your right, something is going on here..." he glanced over at Phoenix but he didn't seem to have heard anything they said.

Franziska stood back up, then she and Edgeworth looked to Carla and Anastasia with serious looks on their faces. "Okay, that plan failed... Do you guys got anything else?" she questioned. She then noticed that Carla seemed to be holding something. "What's that, behind your back?" she asked her.

Sky had already borrowed Aqua's power from when they all had gone in there to do the Maya burning act. She was now in an isolated cell that only had Maya in it. Right when they had let her out of Prince's grasp, they knocked her unconscious. They didn't want a bunch of questions or struggling. "Usually they have to be awake for this... but since she's physic we can do it while she's asleep." Sky explained once all of the Ignis had gathered in there. Sky kneeled down and closed her eyes, searching through Maya's mind. "They don't really have a plan yet," she reported, "But they want to trick Prince into unlocking Aqua's chains." Shadow nodded and said, "They won't get far on that." but Prince didn't reply. "Alright... for relations..." she said, trailing off. "Her name is Maya. she has a huge crush on the spiked haired guy, Phoenix, and thinks of him highly. She doesn't know if he likes her back as a friend or more. She knows that Phoenix seems to have a strong attachment to the hazel eyed girl, named Anastasia. And shows more love towards Anastasia, so that's why she questions if he loves her. She also knows from a third person point of view that the peeked-haired guy, Edgeworth, likes two girls. The blue haired one, Franziska. And the other blonde one, Carla. Those two also apparently love him back. This is what she's observed, of course. We wouldn't know entirely unless we examined one by one. But now we kind of have a run through of how they work..." she said, talking to the group but her eyes were still closed as she looked through her mind a little more.

I did not expect Carla to be like that! Wow! Nice!

Edgeworth and Franziska both raised an eyebrow at her suggestion that she was holding 'time'. They wondered if maybe she had gone slightly delusional. And as they watched her manipulate the chains and unlock Aquamarine, they both had looks of shock on their faces. Before they could ask what happened, Anastasia already had. "You... got his dead skin cells?!" Edgeworth asked, not believing that she was able to do that. "How did you even...?" but he shook his head because he wasn't about to complain. She got Aqua out of her chains and that was the most important thing. "Risk? Whatever." came the mumble from Phoenix in the corner. "Nice thinking. Now, we just have to get Aqua to wake up. That might take time." Franziska complimented her friend, as she went over to Aqua and looked her over briefly. And that was when the girl slightly opened her eyes.

"She's waking up!" Franziska said, taking a step back. That was a fast recovery, she thought to herself. Aqua's eyes came open slightly and she staggered out of Anastasia's arms. With a groan of what seemed like pain she reached back to her neck and the chain snapped where her fingers touched it, and the crystal fell to the floor. Aqua's eyes open more and she gasped, Red Dust starting to envelope her into her signature tornado like before. Franziska shielded her eyes, but when she looked the Red Dust tornado was gone. And there stood - or rather floated - Aqua as an Ignis. She seemed to have all of her energy back, and her eyes were sparkling with it. "THANK YOOOOOOU!~" Aquamarine said happily, glomping Carla with a giggle. Once she let go she seemed to bounce in place a bit, making a little happy noise. "You figured out my advice! Yay!" she said with a giggle. "I didn't know any other way to explain it..." she said sheepishly.

At all the happiness that was bouncing around, a sorrowful and angry growl came from Phoenix in the corner again. Aqua turned around to see him and floated over to him. "Why are you angry Phoenix? We can get out now! Wait..." and she suddenly noticed the friend that usually matched her energetic spirit wasn't here. Phoenix looked up, his eyes flashing again and he spat, "MAYA'S DEAD!" then he hung his head again. Aqua closed her eyes, and floated there for a few minutes. She was going over the events that happened at that time. hHer being an Ignis herself she could see through the tricks that they had planted on them. She opened her eyes slowly and gave Phoenix a small smile. "Shadow can control Nightmares... Phoenix..." she told him softly, "How do you know that?" he questioned. "Shadow was my old friend. Now, let me show you something..." she was expecting him to protest, but he didn't as she placed her ghostly fingers on his temples.

He was the same way he was for a few minutes, until his eyes started to slowly open with shock and he slowly looked up at Aqua at the same time. At that moment she let go of his temples and smiled at him, waiting for his reaction. It wasn't what she expected. He got a huge grin on his face and he enveloped Aqua into a hug, swinging her around a bit. He laughed and a single tear ran down his face as he kept holding onto Aqua. "Thank you! Thank you so much!" he said with sincerity. "what is going on?" Edgeworth questioned. Phoenix ran up to him and put his hands on his shoulders. "Maya's not dead! They tricked us! It was all a nightmare developed by Shadow. Giving us the impression that Kasai burned her!" Franziska gasped, but then smiled. "really?! That's brilliant! I was so worried... I... I don't know what I would've done... I would've never been the same without her." Though Franziska wasn't the hugging type, Phoenix hugged her anyway. "Gah! uh, okay." she slowly hugged him back. Then he let go and turned back to Aqua, "Aquamarine, do your stuff!" he said with a new sense of hope.

"Okay!" Aquamarine said with a giggle, she held out her hand and her eyes turned red again. She murmured a few things, and outside their cell something happened. Both Shadow's eyes and Prince's eyes turned red under her control. "Unfortunately, I can only control ones that I know well. And I only know Shadow and Prince, so their the only ones I can control. But that should be enough for now." Soon, both boys came to the door and unlocked it, their eyes red too. They gestured out, and Phoenix sprinted out first. "First order of business, we find Maya!" he declared. Edgeworth walked out, his hands in his pockets and he nodded in agreement. "Yes." he said simply. Franziska walking out next, "No doubt. Getting my whip back would be a plus too, it could help." she pointed out. But as they looked around, one thing struck Phoenix. "How are we going to get her back? She's guarded by Ignis..." Aqua floated out and she said, "We need to think of a tactical way to do this. Running into danger will not help." the ghostly girl pointed out. The four then started to think. "Any ideas?" He asked, but was specifically looking to Anastasia. It was like he didn't want anything to do with Carla right now.

IGNIS

Shadow looked to Kasai as she thanked him, and he sent a wink her way. "Your Welcome." then he walked to Maya's chamber quietly like everyone else. He looked down at her with Prince in the back of the group as they watched Sky work with her. But suddenly he could feel something clawing at the back of his brain, and certain memories started surfacing. The same happened to Prince, but at a more severe level. And soon the two of them couldn't even remember what was happening as their limbs moved on their own and walked to the prisoners door to open it.

Sky opened her eyes again and said, "I ran out of time for using The Mistress' power. Looks like that's all I'm going to get out of them for now." she said. She continued to examine the little black haired girl though, wondering how she was even able to use her physic powers. Without turning around she replied to him saying, "That sounds like a great idea." she said, a creepy smile crawling along her features. She finally turned around to face him and asked, "How do you suppose we go about that? ..... Hey, where did Prince and Shadow go?" she had just noticed they were gone since she had been so focused on Maya.

Edgeworth watched as she demonstrated, holding her hand out after he had touched his face. The way she was excited about collection 'trillions of dead skin cells' was a little odd, but either way it was a fascinating and clever plan. Edgeworth gave a nod and simply said, "I see." and smiled a bit as Aqua went around excitedly, greeting all of them.

As they all excited the room the group looked to Carla as she made the suggestion of her going by herself. Edgeworth was about to say something about how that may be illogical, if you factored out the possibility that she was captured she wouldn't have any way to escape. She'd be by herself. But Phoenix spoke up before he did, even though he didn't quite have the same reason in mind. Phoenix walked up to Carla and pointed his finger in her face and spoke with a returning tone of slight anger and disapproval. "No. If you believe that us going as a group is dangerous, then fine. One will go. But I swear, it will not be you. I'm not letting the girl that didn't even care that she died go after her. You know why? Because the instant trouble comes around, your going to drop her and flee for yourself. I'd trust anyone besides you to go after her. Anastasia, Edgeworth, Franziska. But not you." then he turned around and started stalking down one of the hallways.

Aqua floated in front of him though, preventing him from going any farther. "We must agree on who goes to get her, Phoenix. Whoever it is I'll accompany though. I will know their ways and how they work so I will help quite a bit. You won't have to worry about me being caught again, now that I am a full Ignis I will easily be able to protect myself against them. Plus I need to protect you from their powers." she explained, and Phoenix didn't seem to have any objections to her coming along. But she still wouldn't let him travel forward. So he frowned and turned back to the group, "Fine. Who's going?" He questioned with a hard tone in his voice.

"Also," Aqua pointed out, "The rest of the group will have Shadow and Prince with them. Who are practically me now. And I know how to get you out of here." she reassured them.

"Okay." Sky said with a nod, dismissing the fact that they had run off. It seemed completely normal to her. She got up and stretched, then noticed that Maya was beginning to wake up. She then ushered the other two Ignis out of the cell and locked the girl in there. This one was different from the others. This one was smaller for one and two there was a window where you could see in and out of it. Sky spun around to face them then said, "Alright. Genshi, I'll give you and Kasai the honor of proceeding with the next plan." Maya slowly stood up, her head pounding with a massive headache. She stumbled over to the window and glanced out at the Ignis that were there. Where am I...? she thought hazily.

It is crazy! There's soooo much tension... I LOVE IT!

Phoenix just threw his hands out to his sides and shook his head. "Did I say anything about you dying? No, I didn't. I just said that if you got in trouble you'd be the one to use her as your shield. But you know what, you can think whatever you want. Since your just going to be stubborn then I'll just go find a teleportation station or something." He spun to look at Aquamarine, who she had also rudely pushed past. Without any words she gave him a comforting nod and then hid herself from sight. She then secretly followed Carla down the labyrinth she was traveling.

Phoenix then turned to look at Anastasia as she started talking to him. He looked baffled at her comment and he just narrowed his eyes. "Oh great. Just wonderful. Just because I said that I didn't trust her to save Maya that it's going to 'scar' her? Okay, yeah, sure. Even though she's been inhumane this whole time. That's completely fine! But when I say something it's immediately wrong and everything's my fault. Great. Whatever." he just waved his hands in the air, then turned and started walking down a hallway that was opposite to theirs. Edgeworth and Franziska watched the whole thing in silence. Knowing that it wasn't their place to say anything at the moment. But as the two started walking off Franziska said to Anastasia, "Good luck. We'll get this all sorted out. I promise." then the two turned and followed after Phoenix.

The two eventually caught up with him and noticed that he was following the Aquamarine-Hypnotized-Shadow and Prince. She was probably leading him to where she knew the teleportation pads were. The three were silent for a moment before Edgeworth spoke up. "You need to calm down sometimes, Wright. I understand that your angry about being tricked, and angry that Carla didn't care. Which I'm baffled at too. But to get out of this situation we need you thinking straight." Edgeworth expected him to rebut in some angry fashion. But Phoenix said nothing and simply nodded in reply. Franziska squeezed his shoulder and reassured him, "We'll get this all figured out."

They soon approached a door that looked like it was blocked by a bunch of key codes and stuff. But the hypnotized Prince went up and started entering the passwords. Soon enough they were in, and inside there were five blue teleportation pads. The number of the Ignis. To a panel on the right there were security cameras and some other controls for who knows what. The three walked up to the screens and looked across the number of them. "That's a lot." Franziska murmured. She looked up at the Aqua-controlled shadow and asked, "What do these controls do?" He was quick to reply, looking down at her. "They control the cameras, the teleport pads and the intercom." so nothing too big, she figured. Phoenix pointed to three different screens. "Look. There's Carla, Anastasia's there..." he paused as he pointed to Maya's screen. "And Maya." he was silent for a few moments, "Your still shocked that she's alive." Edgeworth guessed and Phoenix nodded. "Carla doesn't look like she's far. But she has a problem... Sky." the Ignis that was talking to her outside of her cell.

As Sky waited for Genshi and Kasai to bring back the Prisoners, she was standing in front of the window to Maya's cell and talking to her. Taunting her was a better word for it. Maya looked like she had recovered from her unconscious state and was at the window with Sky. "Where am I? What happened?" she demanded. Sky just chuckled and replied, "Feisty one, eh? Your in your solitary cell. We tricked your friends into thinking we burned you alive!" and at this she let out a laugh, just remembering their priceless reactions. "H-How dare you!! That's terrible!! But you haven't hurt them, right?" she asked, more concerned about their physical condition. "Yes, yes, none of them are actually dead." Maya let out a sigh of relief. She knew her friends would find her... right? "What are you going to do to me? To them?" Maya demanded again, wanting answers. Truth was, she was scared when she was all alone like this. But she tried to think about how she needed to handle herself in this situation. "Like I'd tell you." Sky spat. "Your friends will be getting their own solitary cells though as well." Maya just narrowed her eyes at her, and they had a continuous conversation like this. Sky's back was to the entrance to the room, so she wouldn't notice any one walking in. She didn't even know that they had gotten out. Or gotten this far.
