Ellsworth sat on the edge of the bed, holding Jon with a smile.
-
She came back up stairs. "There is a man down stairs that says he knows you." She said taking Jon and holding him so they could go down stairs with Ellsworth.
-
Ellsworth frowned slightly, pulling on fresh clothes and a leather jerkin before heading downstairs.
-
Kalel put on Jon's little pajamas so he would be warm since it was winter, she then slipped into one of her dresses and followed her husband down stairs.
-
He smiled as he reached the man, clasping his forearm, "It's good to see you doing well."
-
She looked at the men and realized he must be an old friend of humer husbands. She sighed and Jon started to cry "Now now little one calm down." She said rocking the infant.
-
"He yours?" The man asked, noddibg to Jon. "Born today," Ellsworth replied with pride.
-
Kalel laughed at Ellsworth, and kissed her sons head.
-
"Your wife is very strong if she gave birth today and is already walking around." His friend said, smiling slightly.
-
Kalel looked up at the man. "Uhh thank you?" She said and looked up at her husband, jon squeaked when he saw his dad and reached for him. "Shhhh little one." she cooed.
-
Ellsworth stepped over to Jon, lightly giving his hand a squeeze.
-
Jon made a cute noise and looked at his dad.
-
"Aren't you adorable." Ellsworth said with a smile.
-
Kalel "while thank you my dear." She giggled and kissed his cheek.
-
Ellsworth kissed her lightly before turning back to his friend.
-
"Would you like to stay for lunch?" She asked
-
"Of course, we've had a long day's ride." The man replied. "I feel silly for not introducing you properly, Charles." Ellsworth said with a chuckle.
-
she looked at the man "we?" She questioned.
-
"Old habit, I keep on thinking I have more people with me when it's only myself." Charles answered.
