gunner was born to a bunch of brave, courageous warriors. her father was a marine and often tried to kick in her athleticism and 'toughness', but really was a weakling and never took interest to sports. she's more artistic, and enjoys to paint, draw and sculpt. she has taken a liking to the great outdoors; she can be found climbing a tree, observing some wildlife or sketching out some flowers. she's shy and quiet; that's one of her biggest problems. gunner doesn't take a liking to mingling and socializing. she easily gets anxiety in social situations. she does, though, have a twisted knee for finding one damaged person and making them her project; she wants to help everyone, and she tries to fix everything. she recognizes that she's not perfect, and she can have a bit of low self-esteem when she's around others that are more athletic, talented and so forth. she values herself, though, and does realize that she's a beautiful person with a reason.

she believes courage is not being fearless, but being able to face your fears. she's easily able to overcome barriers, but can get a bit skittish and anxious along the way.

most of her sentences consist of a long line of "uh's", "uhm's" and just simple stammers. she usually stammers around everyone, and doesn't often choose to strike up conversations due to that.

it's like her vocal chords are broken guitar strings. she doesn't really talk much until she absolutely needs to. she'll probably answer you, though. it just takes a lot to get her to make the first move in a conversation. but, bear in mind that once she starts talking.. she won't stop.

she tends to get super clingy super fast. as soon as she sees someone as a good person and finds all the great traits, she'll just cling on for dear life. it can get a bit annoying, though, and she does recognize that.

she can tell by the calluses on your fingers that you play guitar. she can tell that you were making pie just by the scent on your shirt. safe to say, she takes a lot of time to recognize little unique details in people.

hyperactive --
if she's not drawing or gardening, she's usually bouncing around. she can be at one point of a room to another in a matter of mere seconds. if she's super comfortable with a person, she'll usually talk. a lot. and it usually includes cheesy jokes, puns and long stories that she'll tell a million times.

strengths;;
-- Gunner can calm any animal with just a few whispers and commands. Animals are.. Kinda of her children life.
-- Gunner has the specialty of art. She can draw, sculpt or paint things with intricate details.
-- she knows some piano, fiddle and harmonica.
-- her intelligence is sort of weird. She prematurely developed reading skills at around two, and soon she was able to do math. same as me.

history;;
Gunner was born in a small town in Arizona. Everyone was so closely knit; there was little to no secrets to keep there. She lived on a ranch full of horses, cattle and other critters. Her father, an active duty Marine, had to go the base in California. Gunner, her mother and her father waved goodbye to their little town. Everyone told Gunner that California was a great place and that it was definitely an enjoyable place.. but they hadn't been on the base. Gunner wasn't exactly crazy about the base. She thought the houses were identical bird houses glued together. The school was worse; the kids were grouchy and had stuck-up attitudes.. they usually teased her for being so withdrawn.

Once she turned eleven, her mother was diagnosed with cancer. Unfortunately, she was diagnosed a bit too late. She was getting a bit better until her health completely deteriorated. She was declared deceased in the hospital after a fatal stroke. Gunner felt down-hearted after this. She felt quite alone, considering she didn't really have friends. She became close to her father, even though he wasn't always around. she became attached to him since he was the only one that she had left.

Gunner's father realized that she seemed lonely and withdrawn, so he packed her up and sent her to his sister's ranch. Gunner was scared at first but then realized that the ranch was her haven. She was away from pressure, she wold no longer be alone and she would be surrounded by people who care. She developed a close bond with her aunt and made friends with the animals. There wasn't many kids in the area, so she grew up around adults. She turned out to be a natural western rider. Gunner eventually developed a bond with the ranch's new rescue foal, Trojan. After a while, she renamed him Krypton and he became her new best friend.

Soon after, Gunner's father was officially deployed. Gunner and her aunt were very worried about it, but eventually shook it off. Every body from the family reassured them, "he's been in the military for fifteen years! He's come back every single time!"
That's when they had two men in uniform step up to the door. We're sorry, ma'am, but your brother has gone missing. We do not know if his plane crashed or if they simply went off radar. It is still under investigation. Gunner can still remember her aunt crumbling at the door, breaking down into tears. Gunner can still remember, too, the way one of them turned and looked her straight in the eye. Gunner remembered him from the base, and she had never seen a man like him shed a tear.

Gunner went into a phase of darkness. she stopped eating, her hourly visits with Krypton shed down to at least once a week, and she often stayed inside a dark room. Her aunt tried her best to help her out, but there was no luck. The town grieved with her, but she seemed to be the one who was hit the hardest. Then, they received a call saying that he might be alive. The little glint of hope sparked her up and soon she was a rising flame. She began regaining health, riding again and more. She's healing slowly, but surely.
