It was evident the little tyke had been through so much in such a short time and Riptide immediately liked the kitten. He noticed with a hint of amusement that sleepiness Ninja was obviously trying to hide as the cougar yawned.

But he was all for it. Though, they couldn't just talk about ice skating, with a sweep of the male's tail, he stood from his seating spot, and stated with a hint of a smile, " Well, we can't just talk about ice skating, let's go!" He lashed his tail, feeling oddly gleeful and accepted. So this was what being in a Clan was like. It was like one big family.

Because if he didn't and he ended up in the water, well, he would drown from the extra weight, and also due to the fact that his fur had thickened due to the changing seasons. He noticed someone glance at him, and turned to look at Riptide who was quick to want to go to the lake. He wouldn't be surprised if the large liger didn't even know where the lake was. A forced grin spread across the tired males jaws though as he got up as well, shaking the snow from his armor and fur. "Don't worry Hazel. Its so cold at this point, its sure to be thick enough to hold everyones weight. Now don't try to fall into deep snow all that much." Ichigo teased his smaller clanmates since the snow would probably be thicker in certain areas. Either way, the Monarch began walking forward, his brown eyes not moving from the ground, even though he occasionally looked over his shoulder. [/fancypost]

Their words did comfort her about staying in the sight of each other, the ice being thick enough to hold their weight, and if it did end up breaking, then Ichigo could easily fish them out, but she couldn't help being nervous anyway. She followed the group with her tail low, although her eyes showed a slight bit of excitement. Maybe she was getting worried for nothing and would ruin her own fun if this continued. Shrugging, she fell in place beside Ichigo.

When she managed to hop up to sit on the fallen tree, her faded green eyes darted to Shiningkit and watched as the leader's shadow hovered over the small figure. She screeched in fear and darted forward, aiming to slam her entire body into Shiningkit and move him out of the way, hopefully allowing herself to roll along after him.

No. That was at least until he noticed a soul that he was about to land on. The over sized cougar always had the ability on, mostly due to the fact the type of job he was always required to do. The leader widened his brown eyes in shock as he only thought of one way of not completely crushing the kitten. He twisted in the air, and curled himself up into a more clump mass into the air. This allowed him to travel a little farther, and lesson the length that he would end up landing, meaning that he would just barely miss the light hued male and crash into the snow. Did it hurt? Not really, it was only snow of course, but he felt it get in between his armor, making him shiver a little bit. Shaking his fur, he sprayed quite a bit of snow before walking over toward Shiningkit. "Oi Shining are you alright?" The new leader asked, of course that if Hazel didn't knock him over. [/fancypost]

When she finally heard someone speak, she opened her eyes and looked over her shoulder at Ichigo. He obviously had seen the kit and had moved his landing area to a much safer position, but when Hazel had acted, he had not yet seen Shiningkit. She felt stupid for recklessly jumping in to put him out of the way, but when your clanmate and friend was in trouble, you sort of just go for it.

The light gray kitten moved off of him so he could get up, then felt herself flush red from what had happened. Her ears flattened as she moved away slightly, feeling her gaze go downward into the snowy terrain.
