[font=georgia]"Howdy!" The word was sounded with enormous gusto as in strolled a young woman who seemed to be in her late twenties. She had on an oversized black tee and denim shorts. From her head sprouted a pair of fluffy yellow ears and from her rear, a cotton tail that closely resembled a rabbit's. "Just thought I'd drop by!"

Ellie laughed. "I never know when she comes, its random." She explained, and hugged the girl. "Shes another expirement from the school. 1% rabbit, 99 human." She explained.

[font=georgia]Flo almost suffocated the poor girl under her rather large bosoms. "You got that right." She had a Yankee accent, with a slow manner of speech that hinted at Southern roots; it was the sort of sharp lilt someone gained young and constantly on the run. She had been places. "But blown up? Lord, I didn't know that was possible."

"Oh its possible. See when someone gets squeezed too hard.." he trailed off smirking to himself before leaning back againest the counter as he took another drink of the water.

Ellie stepped back, laughing. "This is Alex. Hes my new winged friend." She said to Flo, and turned to Alex. "Alex, Flo. Flo, Alex." She said, pointing to them in turn.

[font=georgia]Flo nodded energetically and held out her hand for a shake. "It's nice to see that Ellie has made...," she stepped a tad closer before whispering, "male friends." She winked and returned to her normal pitch, which was anything but an inside voice. "But I see you've got an ability too. That's good to know, since the erasers have been getting upgrades nowadays."

Ellie blushed and rolled her eyes, before punching Flo softly in the arm. "Shut it." She laughed, and gave Alex a glance that siad. Dont worry, shell be gone soon.

Alex raised a eyebrow but remained silent, for once. He reached out to shake her hand, frowning abit.

[font=georgia]She shook his hand as if it was made of rubber and her hand of iron. "I myself have a rather extraordinary power." She drew Ellie beside her and leaned over the counter, looking for all the world as if she was about to disclose a terrible secret. "Would you like to know?" Her eyes were a deep ruby color.

"Dont do this again, Flo." Ellie groaned, giving Alex an annoyed look as she rolled her eyes.

[font=georgia]"The power to laugh at myself!" And as if to make her point, Flo laughed aloud, heartily and mirthfully. When it seemed like she was going to go on forever like this, her eyes suddenly resumed a steely look, and the corners of her mouth dropped into a small frown. She placed a finger on her lips. "But truthfully, I do have a power, but it isn't very uncommon." Then she appeared perplexed, as if she was holding a silent and long-recurring debate with herself. "Let me just tell you right out so I can get it over with. Actually no. Ellie first." She turned her eyes on her companion. "Ellie, did you tell him your power yet?"

Alex watched the two with a sort of amused look, but yeah he shouldve stayed on the road waiting for his sister.

Ellie turned to FLo, her eyes begging as her jaw went stiff. "I can fly fast, and I have a tattoo." She said, silently begging Flo to not say more.

For once, Flo took the hint and went quiet. Then she said, "It was good seeing you, Ellie, and meeting you, Alex. I hope I'll see more of the both of you around." She got up, and after brushing off some invisible dirt from her shorts, bustled out the door.

Alex gave a O3O face and still just stood there, abit in shock. "Appears out of nowhere, then leaves.." he muttered under his breath, as he raised his glasss to take another drink.

Ellie relaxed her face slightly. "Yes, that's how Flo is." She said, a tone of frustration glued to her words. She couldn't beleive that Flo was about to tell Alex her story. She put on a mask of happiness and smiled at him. sitting in the stool neighboring his.

When Sam made it to the school her brother wasn't there! Where did he go?! He knows not to go any where unless we know it's safe. She looked around and saw the dog. " Hey dog where did Alex go" Sam questioned the mutt. He retorted "Well he left with some girl and i couldn't catch up with him you freak". Sam was about to agure back when she relised that the dog said that he had gone with some girl. "What girl you imbred mutt" She said. "The girl that you almost crashed into you uncoordinated girl" He responed. Sam was now pissed at the dog. "Which way did they go you over stupidty filled mutt" She said back. "That way um you.... Dangit I can't think of anything" he replied. Sam grined at her win and the knowlge of were her stupid brother was.

Alex nodded, though he guessed he had to expect this. Since this girl, Ellie, and his sister were the only other beings he ever had a real conversation with. Again he nodded and set his drink down, before returning his gaze to her, huh, did others smile this much? He only noticed this just now, that'd she smiled a lot. Well he usually never payed any attention to other people, and their faces. But this was one of the first avians he'd seen, in well forever. Oh wait, his sister...haha she was probably looking for him now. Oh well, she shouldn't have pushed him off HIS motorcycle. Oh crap. He thought to himself remembering the gloves where still off. Well nah... he'd leave them off... just to see how long he could last without breaking everything. Alex took a quick deep breath. Okay...here we go he thought to himself reassuringly. "So you knew her for how long?" He asked returning his icey gaze to Her.

[font=georgia]"Mm, let's see...," she started counting on her fingers. "We met when I was twenty-five or so, and I'm twenty-nine now... So approximately this much!" She held up four fingers and grinned, expecting praise, maybe a nice pat on the head. As if basic subtraction was a praiseworthy effort.

Did it matter that Flo could've dropped out of the sky and still wouldn't have been able to appear with more abruptness? She didn't seem to think so, and didn't strive to explain herself. "Now where was I? Oh, yes, Ellie can fly super fast and whatnot, and you can blow things up." She threw her hands above her head and stretched. "And I, being an earlier experiment, can only regenerate at a quicker pace. Leporines (bunny-rabbits) are rarer than avians, only because the erasers have made easy work of us. We generally aren't strong or intelligent enough to break out of the School. But if we manage to somehow, we can't fly, and we aren't suited to the city." She sighed. "Our ears and tails are too conspicuous."
