In her nest. Poison panted softly. She was tired and had barely escaped humans after her mate saved her and now she waited for him to come back, her belly growled for something to eat as she pregnant ,carrying three eggs. The dragoness wasabout to go to sleep after she heard a familiar roar that her mate used to let her know he was coming inside the cave.
I don't want you to be left (it's dangerous) by yourself (male mate needed!)

Letting out the roar that was obviously weaker than normal he limped in. He had several cut marks and gashes. His wing had been split open so he kept it tightly to his side. He shook him sinking his claws into the ground and emerged finding her laying her nest. "Are you alright?" He asked gently.
-
Poison nodded, her body shook with fear as she looked at her mate. Her back paw was injured with something stabbed through it and was leaking some of her own blood as she tried to get up, but hissed loudly as a sharp pain started in her paw.
-
He gently nudged her sighing a bit. He closed his eyes slowly settling down beside her. He could tell that she was pretty badly cut up on the foot. He sighed suddenly exteremly exhausted and started to drift off closing his eyes and shaking his head.
-
Poison purred a little as she stopped feeling scared by his gentle nudge. She licked his neck softly and felt the eggs in her belly stir a little. The female quiety sighed.
-
He smiled as he put his wing protectively over her. He sighed smiling as he laid his head down blinking his eyes a bit. "Maybe we should find a new den." He mumbled knowing he himself really didn't like the idea, but what choice.
-
"I agree....i won't be carrying these eggs forever if the humans find us." She spoke and nuzzled him softly. "But i feel bad that you got hurt ."Apologizing and intertwined her tail with his.
-
He chuckled softly sighing. "We'll probably have to start looking for a den in morning." He said smiling gingerly. "It's fine wounds heal." She said smiling a bit.
-
She smiled. "Okay." the female purred and nudged her mate gently, happy that he was with her. "I love you."
-
"I love you more than the heavens could know." He purred and slowly curled up closing his eyes. His wing still laying protectively over her.
-
She giggled softly and laid her head on her paws, now thinking. "you were always the one who kept me happy....I'm just worried about our eggs." Poison said and then sighed.
-
He opened his eyes slightly smiling. "I'm glad to see my efforts are working. And it's only natural for you to worry." He said gently yawning.
-
She nodded and licked his cheek, growing tired. The dragoness shifted her body enough for her to feel comfortable and her big belly. "Is the sore feeling normal as well?" She asked.
-
Taking a deep breath he shrugged. "I'm guessing still I don't have personal experience." He mumbled and closed his eyes again his eyes starting to close.
-
She just stayed quiet, not closing her eyes just yet. Soon Poison fell asleep, sleeping quietly.
-
He woke up the next morning grunting as he slowly got to his feet limping out of the cave. He sniffed the air sighing a bit.
-
Poison was still asleep, stretching some as she laid on her side. She was already tired from yesterday's attack.
-
He came back a few minutes latter carrying a couple off deer sighing. He had a couple arrows stuck in his hide from some hunters mad he had gotten the kill first.
-
She woke up, hearing him, and stretched before getting up. Noticing the arrows on him. "Is it that bad?" Poison asked, her dark black eyes looked at her mate, seeing that he did managed to get some deer.
-
"Just like a thorn." He said wincing at the one in his back. He sighed laying down the deer. "It's all I could manage." He said obviously not happy in how small his catch was as he flapped his wings a bit.
