Jolie just snorted, she didn't want to risk them recognizing her voice.

Blue grabbed her hand and let her to his truck. He opened the door and waited for her to hop in before shutting it and walking to his side. Climbing in, he said, "Sorry for the rudeness. I didn't really want to deal with them any longer than I had to. I still love you no matter what."

Julie smiled brightly, "it's fine, you were doing what you had to do" she said, noddin in understanding.

"You ready for the next stop on our mystery date?" He asked, putting the truck in drive and heading speedily down the road.

Jolie smiled brightly. "Sure" she said. Once they were out of sight she took off the glasses and undid her hair.

"You look so much better, although I do like you wearing my shirt. It makes you look like you belong to someone," he said.

Jolie shot him a look and rolled her eyes.

"What? I'm just being honest," he said.

Jolie punched his arm lightly. "I'm not owned by anyone. I'm my own person. I could jump out this truck right now." She teased, smiling.

"I meant about the shirt thing. What really sucks is that this fling isn't going to be close. Long distamce is hard," he said.

Jolie's smiled faded and she nodded, looking out the window again.

"I'm sorry. I really dodn't mean that. I just don't want tp go without your company again," he said

Jolie let out a soft sigh. "I know." She said softly.

"I'm just not good with expressing what I feel," he said, pulling into a diner driveway.

Jolie turned her attention towards him, smiling. "You don't think I know that? Remember in 9th grade what you said to Sarah?" She laughed.

"Don't remind me. It was awkward enough then," he said, laughing. "In all seriousness, I'm going out on a limb here. I guess... I think.. I'm in love with you." His cheeks grew dark red as he glanced over at her. "Have been since I first laid my eyes on you."

Jolie's eyes widened slightly, and she licked her lips nervously. She didn't know what to say and bit her lip. Still not knowing what I say she just reacted, leaned over the middle of the car, and kissed him softly.

Blue returned the kiss, hoping that she felt the same. Deepening it, he opened his eyes to make sure that the moment was real, and not just in his head.
