Jolie squeezed her eyes shut, resting her head against his chest.

"How about we go to our old favorite spot? We can catch up," he said.
-
Jolie opened her eyes, tilting her head to look at him. Wiping her eyes she nodded. "Yeah, let's go" she said.
-
Blue entwined his fingers with hers and led her to his truck. "I miased you," he said, opening her door
-
Jolie smiled as she got into the truck. "Still have this thing?" She said, then looked at him. "I missed you too" she said.
-
"Yeah, I get a new one next year. Funds aren't great," he said, climbing in. He started the truck and backed out. "Seems like you were gone forever."
-
Jolie glanced at him before looking out the window. "I was only gone for a year" she said, shrugging simply.
-
"I know that, it just felt like longer," he said, driving down the road.
-
Jolie leaned her head against the window, taking a deep breath. "I don't miss the pollution filled air" she laughed.
-
"Yeah. That's the one thing that I wish I could escape," he said, driving down the road. "I meant to tell you earlier... both my parents died in a car accident a few months ago."
-
Jolie's head snapped towards him. "Oh my god I'm so sorry!! If I had known I would've come to the funeral!" She said, tears pooling in her eyes. Despite her dad being a good man, he had sometimes gotten drunk so she would go spend the night at Blue's house.
-
"The sad thing is that it wasn't even their fault. A drunk driver hit them head on. Oh well. There's nothing I can do," he said, pulling into the driveway of an abandoned house. "We're here."
-
Jolie studied him, she had learned over te years that he dropped subjects so he wouldn't get emotional. He had stopped doing that with her when they were ten. Had that long passed? She bit her lip and looked at the anbandoned house as she got out of the truck.
-
"Remember this place? The view from here is still as amazing as it was when we were kids," he said, taking his keys and climbing out of the truck.
-
Jolie glanced at him, "I doubt it, we are probably too big for the cranny anyway" she said, smiling.
-
"Are you calling me fat?" He joked, faking a hurt expression. "I'm ignoring you until you apologize. Best friend or not. Do you think this is fat?!" He lifted his shirt to reveal a toned 6 pack.
-
Jolie cracked up, snorting a bit. She hadn't laughed that much since before she left. After she calmed down she punched his arm, "come on, we were kids then." She said, smiling brightly.
-
"What? Are you not turned on by my hot bod? Dang. I spent all year doing that for you," he said.
-
Jolie rolled her eyes at him. "Race ya!" She said an took off without a second thought, laughing.
-
Blue chased after her, easily catching up to her. He glanced at their spot before wrapping his arms around her waist and pulling her to the ground and on top of him. "You have no idea how much I've missed this," he said, his lips brushing against hers teasingly.
