though i suggest maybe trying to lay out some complicated relationships? that was usually what worked best for me - maybe a crush that doesn't like him back, or a relationship that gets ruined because he or the other person falls in love with someone else. i have no idea but //shrug//

basically just right up a few plots you have in mind, or a plot, that leads into a plot, that leads into another plot !
for example; examplepaw becomes blind during a capture in an enemy clan --> becomes depressed because of blindness --> gets a new love interest but he/she's in the same enemy clan
