  • Cassie shook her head immediately. "No. None of you are coming with me. This is better as a solo job." She didn't bother turning around, but she did stop walking.

    OOC: Sorry it's rushed.

  • Holly, still tying the swordbelt around her waist gave a scoff." You nearly got killed in the forest because you went alone to face the Gorgons." In her eyes, if it hadn't been for Raven this group would have been short of one member. She glared at the back of Cassie's head. How can she get it through her head that she needed them?"Just stop and think about it for a moment. You don't know how strong Gerard is, we all don't, but I'm pretty sure five against one will give us a better chance of saving Marth." She was desperately hoping what she was saying was being hammered into Cassie's head right now.

  • OOC:

IC: Marth stirred, still staring at the pot and waiting for something magical to occur, but nothing was happening. 'Geez, do I have to sing to it or talk to it, what in Zeus' name do I do?' He thought. He watched as the city seemed to awaken from its short slumber and erupt into a hive of activity. Buses, cars, people, bikes, trucks, they all mingled together into blurs of color at the height that Marth watched this from. From where he was, a park spread out like a huge green rug on a floor of steel and tar. He watched idly, as children, little specks he could only assume for dogs, and parents played in the park. Kites flew high in the sky like bright splashes of color against the gray and silver canvas of the city. It would've been relaxing if not for the fact he was being held prisoner. However, he still held a few feelings for Gerard, after all, they were related. These scenes of happy families must've been torture for him. Another icy knife of quilt stabbed his heart and he tore his gaze from the window and back towards the planted acorns.

  • //Sorry I've been so inactive guys! I've been so busy with sports again :)

Cassie stopped and listened to Holly. She knew that she was right and that she was being stupid. What would help Marth more? Going alone or bringing backup. She sighed, knowing the answer. "Fine." She said defeated. It was so unlike her to think irrationally.

  • Ooc~ thats okay :3

Holly smiled in triumph, glad that Cassie agreed with her. "Great, let's go find him, who knows how long we have," she tried to uncrinkle the postcard she still held as she started to walk once again, scrutinizing both sides as if it would reveal some clue as to where Marth's whereabouts would be.

  • OOC: Sorry guys, don't have much to say here, um, the location is basically a large hotel, top floor, I'll just sit here and stall while you guys get here

IC: Marth gave a sigh and turned over, he watched as the skies slowly became cloudy, 'Oh, it's going to rain while I'm trapped and feeling like crap, what a cliche.' He thought with a bitter tone. People slowly left the sidewalks, many noticing the sky that slowly grayed. Soon the park was empty except for a few adventurous people, and other more oblivious tourists.

  • Ooc: Sorry I've been gone. Unexpected grounding happened. Also, I can provide a monster to take them to the penthouse, if it's needed.

Raven ran up to Cassie and Holly. "So, I hijacked a sparkplug, but notice that you guys had left. Where ya' goin'?" She asked, sticking the stolen car part into her seemingly never ending tool belt bag. She had been distracted most of the whole conversation, but now looked more focused, as if she were waiting for something to come out and attack her. 'I wish something would attack. Then I could successfully kill it and not get in trouble.' She thought, rubbing one of the charms on her bracelet idly. She had picked up on everyone else's stress, and was now worried.

  • Holly waved the postcard around. "Well according to Cassie and this letter, Marth's been kidnapped, so we're going to save him," She immediately piped up and explained the dire situation at hand. Her eyes surveyed their surroundings as if any moment Marth or Gerard would come sauntering from across the street. Although seeing as she had never seen the latter, she wouldn't be able to identify him at all. As of this moment there didn't seem to be any hints as to where Marth could have been taken either.

  • OOC: really sorry, final exams are up and my parents are watching like hawks so this is gonna be short, please flare do that if you don't mind, Marth will be waiting near the window, I gtg, bye for now till everything settles :-\

    IC:

  • Ooc: Kk, and I know how it goes. Exams are about to kick up here too.

Raven nodded and looked around, running a hand through her hair. "Alrighty then. Good to know what's up." She said.

Unbeknownst to the demigods, a hellhound had caught their scent nearby, and started heading towards them quickly.

  • OOC: It's alright. I hate exams!

IC: Cassie sighed, seeing that they would be involving another person. She was getting impatient, even though it wasn't wasting her time. She was just in a hurry because she couldn't believe that he had been kidnapped, never mind directly from the car. Holly had explained it all so there was no need for her to.
