"Well this should be interesting. It's gonna hurt... A lot," he said, flipping the button on her shorts open. <---Fade---> "You alright?"

Briar was breathing deeply, her eyes barely open as she looked up at him, shaking slightly. She had a few tears still in her eyes as she nodded in response, still trying to catch her breath.
-
Blue wiped the tears from her eyes and wrapped his arms around her. "First time's always the worst. It gets less painful as it goes," he said, kissing her gently. "If you need it, I have some pain medicine in the cabinet." His gaze met hers once more. "I really care about you."
-
Briar nodded slightly, "Can....i.....have some.... please? " She asked, a whimper in her voice. "And.... I care about you too....."
-
Blue climbed out of the bed and walked to the cabinet. He dug around and found the bottle, grabbing one and handing it to her. "This should help," he said, slipping his shorts back on.
-
Briar barely pulled herself up, really sore from earlier events, she then took the pill without a drink.
-
"So what now? Sleep or just stay awake 'till dawn? I would recommend sleep. It relieves soreness," he said, leaning her back and pulling her body against his.
-
Briar was fast asleep before she could reply. She was bone tired and snuggled against Blue. Yawning in her sleep.
-
Blue chuckled and pulled her close. He finally fell asleep, comforted by the fact that he was no longer alone.
-
In the morning, Briar woke with a yawn, stretching, then rubbed her eyes tiredly. She glanced at Blue to see if he was awake.
-
Blue stretched, yawning. "Mornin. Sleep well?" He asked, kissing her cheek. "First time I've really slept in months."
-
Briar smiled. "I second that." She said softly, keeping the blanket wrapped around her as she reached down and scoped up her clothes. "I'm not so sore anymore." She said.
-
"Good. I'm gonna get a shower and then cook some breakfast. Be right back," he said, getting out of bed and heading to the bathroom. He turned the water on and climbed in, losing his shorts.
-
"Alright." Briar replied before climbing out of the bed and pulled on her clothes. She let out a sigh and went to window to see if any walkers were out and about.
-
Blue washed his hair and stepped out. He dried off and dug through his dresser and decided on a pair of sweatpants and a tight shirt. Redrying his hair, he brushed his teeth and sprayed his cologne. Stepping out, he grabbed his shorts. "All good?"
-
Briar nodded, backing away from the window, "No sign of them."
-
Charlie squinted at the sun that now lit up the building. Rubbing her eyes, she stood up, collecting her things. Silently, she walked out of the building, searching for any materials or sign of the living.
Charlie reached into her bookbag, taking out a small food bar to eat. -
Blue yawned and headed to the kitchen. He grabbed a poptart and sat down. "Plenty of food over here," he said.
-
Briar shrugged, "I'm not hungry."
-
"You okay? You sound just a little bit ticked off. What'd I do?" he asked.
