[fancypost bgcolor= white; width: 295px; height: 255px; overflow: auto; borderwidth=0px; color: black; opacity: 0.80; border-radius: 20px;] The brown striped femme made her way along the hard, frozen ground as small, white flakes drifted from the sky and blanketed everything in a thin layer of white. The pale, moon-blanched land stretched out before her as she narrowed her bronze optics, trying to make out the vast terrain as curtains of snow began to obscure her vision. The mountainous terrain was far different from the cities. It lacked the comforting sounds of twoleg chatter and the loud rumble of cars as they sprang to life. The scent of asphalt and stench of carrion she had grown so accustomed to was missing, too. All there was was the steady sound of her breathing and the frigid, clear air. The warm streetlights replaced by the cold, dim moon. She shivered, fluffing up her fur in vain attempt to fight off the icy air. Unease pricked at her skin as she wondered if she made the right choice to leave the streets she knew so well for this unknown territory. But the city was filled with danger as well. Multiple times before had she fallen sick through eating bad scraps or had gotten hurt through fighting other ferals. Living in a larger group would possibly provide her with better protection. Sure, she'd have to work as anyone else here would, but that wasn't something she minded. She snapped back into reality as the strong scent of felines and other animals filled her nostrils. Purely out of habit, her hackles rose and she flattened her ears against her head before she realized this was the border. She sighed, her breath coming out in one large, misty puff as she sat down, her tail curling over her paws. There's no turning back now. [/fancypost] |
