Roseblossom and followed behind Mountainstar, but turned right instead. Tigerfang close behind her.

Deerfoot snarled, watching the fox snap at her. She slid under it, coming face-to-face with two yipping cubs who seems more than interested in her. She turned and slid under the mother's stomach, scratching it, then returning to it's right side.

Mountainstar sized up the mother fox before darting to it's hindquarters and raking a pair of claws down it's hind leg. Meanwhile, while the mother fox was distracted by Mountainstar, Mysticfire ran up to it's face and scratched it's muzzle. Soon followed by Springtail snapping at the mother's front paw.

Roseblossom hissed as the fox tried to snap at her. She raked her claws against it's nose at it got closer to her. She glanced to her left to see Tigerfang helping Deerfoot by biting into the fox's flank.

Mysticfire and Springtail ganged up on the two cubs, scratching and biting whenever the younger foxes got close. Mountainstar dodged to his right a second too late, being scratched on side of his muzzle by the mother fox.

Mountainstar hissed when he felt blood trickle down his cheek from the scratch he received by the mother fox. He let out a snarl before rushing towards the mother fox's heels. His teeth sunk into the fo'xs back paw, deep enough to where he faintly tasted blood. Mysticfire ran over to help the tortoiseshell tom by raking her claws across the fox's muzzle and nose. Springtail jumped the mother fox and tore her ear. The mother fox's two cubs let out frightful yelp as the Tigerfang, Roseblossom and the other warrios snapped at them.

Risingsun noticed Warpaw sitting in the middle of the camp clearing, looking slightly upset. The golden tabby padded up to the younger apprentice. "What got up and made you so upset?" he asked.

Deerfoot snarled, Why hasn't it run yet??
She sank her teeth into it's hindleg, causing it to jerk its leg forward, then back. The fox kicked her backwards, causing her to fall back and roll over, a gash forming on her flank.

Tigerfang snapped at one of the cubs, causing it to run off. It's sibling followed after being claws by Roseblossom. The mother fox saw this and tried to bite the cats who harmed her cubs. Mountainstar saw this and ran up to the mother fox, biting and tearing it's ear. This brutal action sent the fox retreating after her cubs.

Roseblossom ran over to Deerfoot's side, looking at the she-cat's wound. "We'll help you get to Graystorm!" she mewed urgently.
