Forgottenstar exited her den. Taking in a deep breath , the strong she-cat opened her eyes to the new day ahead. Her eyes scanned the camp and she noticed the other clan members awaking. A proud leader for such a strong clan.

Forgottenstar noticed the newest apprentice wondering around from the corner of her eye. "Morning, Foxpaw," she mewed with a wave of her tail. The spotted leader jumped down from one of the few logs that laid across camps.

Eagleflight woke up with a yawn. The warrior linked out of the den and spotted his new apprentice.

Forgottenstar sat in the middle of camp, flicking the tip of her tail back and forth. The spotted she-cat wondered about the patrols she needed to organize.

Eagleflight padded up to Foxpaw. "Hey," the handsome warrior called, "Exploring the territory sound good?"

Forgottenstar stood up with a stretch. The beautifully intimidating warrior smiled at Eagleflight and his apprentice before noticing the fresh kill pile was running low. Everyone except those two are still asleep, she thought, It wouldn't hurt if I went hunting by myself today, for a chance. She looked towards the camp entrance and started off.

SWiftpaw was running through the territory, enjoying the feeling of fresh grass underneath his paws. Suddenly, a strange scent washed over the apprentice. With a quick stop, Swiftpaw flattened his ears. Intruders, he thought with a faint growl. He lowered his shoulders and followed the scent trail.

Swiftpaw flicked his ear and jerked his head to the right, the sound of rustling leaves and a faint squeal of alarm not too far from him. Narrowing his eyes, the apprentice stalked through the green grass, the tips of the tall grass barely covering his shoulders and back. A...kit? he thought questioningly when he realized a small black tom was attempting to drag a small vole somewhere.

Must have lived alone for a while if a tiny kit like that can catch a vole, Swiftpaw thought as he watched the black kit disappear into a bramble bush. He then let out a quiet, yet, determined, growl. Even if it's a kit, that vole was stolen from our territory! The apprentice then followed the same path the kit took through the bramble and found himself staring at the entrance of an old fox den.

Swiftpaw stares at the opening of the old fox den, observing it. Narrowing his eyes, he slowly slid into the den. His soft blue eyes narrowed in determination. The apprentice barely got through the entrance when a small she-kit almost crashed on top of him.

Swiftpaw looked taken back for a second or two. There are two kits? The apprentice stood up and shook out his pelt. "I hope you two realize that vole belonged to our territory," he mewed casually while observing the pair.

"Why are two kits your age living by yourself anyways?" Swiftpaw mewed.

Swiftpaw realized he must have brought up a touchy subject for the two kits. "How about you two follow me back to the camp I live at. I'm sure there is more food there, and I bet Forgottenstar will want to met you," he mewed.
