Face turned up to the bobcat, Runako flashed a broad smile and nodded enthusiastically, meowing excitedly, "Oh, thank you! I never thought that I would have a home again, not after those up-rights took me from last home. Then again, it was probably for the best because I was always fighting with my da, but now I met you, Alcide, and I joined your Tribe and... I'm blabbering again. Oh dear." When the tom was excited, or scared, he would go off on a rant -- usually about himself -- and forget that someone else was right beside him. He had a knack for talking, and was rather funny at times, but he could most definately talk someone to death.
Now that his fur was hot with embarassment, and his ears turned down at his shoulders, the young sandcat murmered, "Sorry. This is just so great!" Catching himself before he blabbered on, Runako swung his ears back up and asked rather forcefully, "What do I do? Are there any smallcats around? Any prey to be hunted, training? I'm not too good a fighter, but... there I go again."

Alcide watched Runako go off and begin babbling with amused eyes. "Well, if you're no good as a fighter, you'll do good as a hunter." He rasped.
OOC| Which rank do you want Runako to be placed in?
-
OOC:: He was to be a shadow, but he just thinks that he is no good at fighting. His small size can be rather... evasive and easy to hide. Large ears add to his ability to find cats quickly, he sensed vibrations in the ground y'know ;)
BIC::
Chest fur puffed out, Runako meowed defensively, "I am a plenty good fighter, as a sandcat anyway. Against you, however, I would be horrible." -

Alcide chuckled. "You've got that right." He meowed down to the sandcat. "Against me, you wouldn't be able to inflict even a scratch." Now that was getting a little cocky, even for Alcide.
-
Ears tilted forward and eyes wide in surprise, Runako had to ask himself, was that a challenge? The bobcat was hard to read, but it wasn't like the sandcat was any good at reading others anyway.
However, the tom was tempted to take up the bobcat's challenge, but deciding that it would be better to stay on his good side he asked boldly, "What? Would you like to assess my fighting skills or something?" -
Alcide's rounded ears angled toward Runako. All the while his amber eyes remained fixed on the newcomers face, watching the sand cats facial expression change from defensive to surprised. His own eyes narrowed, even more so when Runako asked aloud if he'd like to access the smaller wildcats fighting skills. "Would you like me to?" Alcide rumbled, raising a questioning eyebrow to Runako. "Because I will, if you would like."
-
"I will, if you like." The open opportunity to prove his worth hung in the air like a lost cloud in the sky -- in motion, but not too sure where to go. A breeze might help that cloud along, but in this case it would be pale yellow tom's reaction.
"Well, I would very much like to show what I know, but perhaps more training would be alright," fur hot with his boasting -- now turned icy with fear of the though of taking on the bobcat -- Runako made a low rumble in his throat. "Yes, perhaps more training and I could be worthy of scrimmaging with your kind..." he muttered, half to himself. -
Aura padded toward the waterfall. Her spotted sandy wildcat coat glistened in its own way. She made her way to the pool of water, and looked around for any other cats who might now what to do.
