  • NOTE
This is open to three other people, all must be Avians. They'll be involved with a plot where June (a white coat), and soon to be named Kris (an avian girl) will escape and go off into the world and find a place to stay yadda yadda yadda...

The sun shone through cracked ceiling of the School, dust fell down from those streaks of light making it look like snow flakes. A door slammed, the noise echoed through out the huge room of stacked cages. A small crying noise along with it, "COME ON GIRL! STOP FIGHTING!" A man yelled, followed by grunting and groaning from another white coat. The beating of wings made most of the papers and stuff on the cages go fly, A young girl was making all that fuss. She had red hair and brown eyes, oh, and she had white wings but that not much to talk about. The two men had her by the arms, dragging her through the rows of cages. "Easmara reen!" The girl shouted, trying to get out of the whitecoats' grips. "Well, next test we're either teaching her how to speak English or cutting her jibberish tongue off." One man said to the other, "Alright, here we are, ready?" The other said, opening a cage quickly and lifting the girl up. "One, two..." They said together, swinging her back and forth. "THREE!" They shouted, flinging the girl into the cage and shutting it quickly. The girl bagged on the cage door for awhile before finally giving up and crawling to the corner of the cage and dozing off, Hell... nothing but hell... She thought hugging her shoulders.

  • June was walking down the hall, her hands behind her back. She wore a white lab coat, blue jeans, and a brown tank top. "June!" Another scientist yelled, "One of the cameras is screwing up in the cage room, repair it now." He said. "No you." June snapped, glaring at the guy. The guy started forward and grabbed her shirt collar and slammed her against the wall. "Remember why you're here?" He said, squeezing June's shirt tighter. June just stared at him, a frown on her face. "Huh? Couldn't hear you..." He growled, hairs slowly growing around his face. June shut her eyes, feeling some tears come into her eyes. "Because... Because my little sister's life depends on it." She choked, a tear squeezing out of her eye lids. "Yes... And if you refuse?" The Eraser breathed, a smirk on his face. "She dies." She said, loosing her cool and started to cry. "Don't forget you're place, worm." The Eraser said, slamming June into the wall and walking off.

  • Two avians sat on each side of Kris's cage, both were here for years and both planned to get out. One of them was a teenager around 15 or 16. She had brown hair that was tied up in a ponytail one of the whitecoats had given her, the only one she knew that was kind. Her hair was matted with dried up blood and dust but she managed to run her hair through it everyday at least once to attempt to brush it. Her complexion was fair but with scratches and three scars that were horizontal across her back that occasionally bleed if provoked.

The most interesting thing about her was the caramel eyes that never focused on you or anyone else, she was fading in and out of a trance-like condition whenever she was in a tough situation. Right now her eyes focused on the bars of the cage while she hugged her knees but switched to a criss-cross sit. She stared to her left, past Kris's cage and onto the next one where a boy who was around the same age, maybe a year older, resided. "Horus, you still alive?" she joked. They'd usually call out to each other every once in a while to make sure that one another was still conscious, it was starting to become a joke nowadays.

June sucked up the sadness, and straightened her coat. She walked over to the door, with the huge paper sign that said: "Cage Room". That word would always make a pointed thing in her throat, What a cruel way to do science... She thought, shaking her head. She sighed, and closed her eyes before walking into the vast room of cages.

There was a loud snarl from the room outside. The door busted open. A gray-haired avian was fighting three Erasers... Well, escaping was worth a try, right? "Get in the d*** cage!" one of them snarled, shoving him. Jay fell to the ground, and another literally kicked him into the cage. The three Erasers chuckled, and walked out of the room. Muttering, the 16 year old rubbed his head and looked around. He wasn't really the strongest avian alive, but fighting was worth a try.

ooc: c: Could you make me a banner for Jay? Or do you have a shop?

ic: The black-haired boy sighed, glancing over at Kris. His usually bright blue eyes were dull, faded, as they always were in this place. The 16 year old turned away. Jay just sat, staring blankly ahead of himself.

June pushed through the nobbless door, looking around the cage room. It was the first time she entered the room, and it wasn't the best experience in her life. Most of the things in the cages were blob things, she turned and walked down the isle where Jay, Horus, the other girl, and Kris's cages were.

  • Horus ignored what had happened and leaned back against the cage. Any type of mutant escaped when they thought it was safe, but of course it would never be. He watched as June walked toward their aisle. "Yeah, I'm alive but a whitecoats coming." he whispered loud enough for Parker to hear. He felt the back of his head from where he was punched, it thankfully wasn't bleeding anymore but it did make his dusty black shaggy hair turn like a straw. He put his hand back down next to him, watching as the remains of what was blood drip only once from his naturally tanned hand. His attention was then back to the whitecoat and watched her with curious brown eyes that soon turned to hatred for what any scientist in general did to him.

  • June practically stopped in her tracks as she saw the winged children, clinching her mouth shut so she wouldn't say anything.

    ooc: Thank yooh. 8D

ic: Jay glared at the Whitecoat, folding in his wings self conciously.

  • Horus eyed the whitecoat with a cold stare. "So someones due for a test, or let me guess...a newbie who wandered into the cage room." he muttered. He didn't care what a remark would earn him, usually if he got too angered up he'd be knocked unconscious or whatever they had recently made up to shut a bird kid up.

  • Kris scooted back into the cage, still hugging her arms. Her big bright brown eyes where flickering with fear, she could barely talk after what they did to her. And she was definitely not ready for another one, just the site of that pure white coat made her heart skip a beat in fear.

June was deep in shock that she barely heard Horus's muttering, she just slowly walked over to where Kris was crouched and stared into it for the longest time.
    "I'm so sorry..."
She breathed, staring at Kris's big frightened eyes.

The black-haired boy was utterly silent as he watched June, and his fists clenched at her words: I'm so sorry. His blue eyes narrowed. If she was sorry, the Whitecoat would let them go, right?

  • The girl tilted her head in surprise, this was definitely not one of the real white coats. She could tell but all the tools on her hips that were shoved into her belt, Technician? She thought reaching curiously at a wrench.

June looked down at what the girl was trying to get, and smiled holding it up for her to see.
    "That's a wrench."
She said softly, it wasn't exactly shiny at all. It was really rusty, but it had a few clean spots on it where she had worked on it. She heard a door slam and lifted her head to the sound, and quickly put the wrench back in it's place and hurried away.

  • [font=georgia]

Jay didn't trust that lady, Whitecoat or not. Of course it was a wrench! He already knew that. The avians weren't stupid--well, most of them weren't, anyway.

  • Horus watched as June exited the area. 'I wonder what she was even here for.' he thought. Maybe the whitecoat knew the girl before, but that was obviously not true "So anyways, who are you? Well, except you Parker." he asked.

  • [font=georgia]

After a few moments to make sure June didn't come back, the black haired boy answered. "I'm Jay." he sighed.

  • The girl frowned and stared at her feet, her brown eyes sparkling with nervousness. She looked up and towards the other Avians, and shook her head. Sure, she wasn't much of a talker, but she understood pretty much what was going on around here.
