    The event had been in planning for some while, but now SunClan was finally getting some sports into its clan full of culture. The sport Marco hoped to get thriving here was soccer - or football, as it was called in other countries like his origin. With permission granted and given, he would be creating SunClan its very own tournament.


    "GREETINGS." the tall and slender tom's voice boom, that certain roughness still slightly lacing his speech. With some silence, he'd continue to speak, however Marco would be much quieter in doing so. "Today, I would like to announce the 2014 SunClan Pokal. For those who don't know by the way, 'pokal' is a word for 'cup' in German." Ah, how Marco wished to see that year grow and grow maybe, someday being some sort of annual tradition or something.


    "The SunClan Pokal is a soccer tournament. It will take practice from you all before it can actually kick off, so there will be a few places for you guys to do so at and train (it will be in a separate thread). But when it does, trust me," he said, voice growing serious yet being able to crack a boyish grin, "passion and love for the sport will bloom and constantly grow wildly, thrive wildly - be it player or a watcher of the tournament. It is called the 'worlds sport' for good reason, I assure!"

    The SunClan Pokal is a soccer tournament completed by elimination and, at first, points. The point system is found in the group stage (beginning stage) and is a fairly simple concept; there is, for now, three groups, these groups being Group A, Group B, and Group C. Each group has four teams in it. Teams complete for points, which will determine them being able to advance to the next stage.


    To be able to move on out of the group stage, teams will need to have atleast five points. They get points by the results of a match:

      [li] TIE : 1 POINT[/li]
      [li] WIN : 3 POINTS[/li]


    If unable to get those five points, the team will be eliminated out of the tournament during group stage.


    [justify][size=7pt]The next stage is the elimination-by-loss stage. The teams who made it through the group stage will be competing, the loser of each match going home and the winner advancing. After a single team remains and hasn't lost, they are the winners!


    To keep each match fair, we will use a number system to determine the loser and winner. Each match will have a certain set number. The other two teams will get a random number, given by generator and with a screenshot for proof, and whoever is closest to the set number wins the match.

    To create a team, request below!! You can also name the team, the creator being captain. Anyone can join a team, being assigned to one randomly or by request on which you want to join. The max number of teams for now is 12. (1/12 teams created)

    At the max, each team should have 11 players but it isn't a must - instead, you could just have (for example) 4 actual roleplayed players and some NPC's to make up the remaining.

    Ah, competition. The male's favourite thing, he believed there wasn't enough in Sunclan which is why everyone was so darn sensetive. Looking up at the German speaking male from across the way, the tom listened to the words with curious and intently pricked torn ears. He had never played this game before, but he was naturally athletic; perhaps not agile and flexible but strong and he believed he could learn and win this.
