Sauron had no idea what Uncle Sam had planned and so that made him even more happy, but then again if he didn't sound fun, it would make the dragon disappointed. So sitting there he waited for Sam to come around the corner and what came to mind was, 'Did he have a dragon body?' Well he had to wait and find out.
