Masami, being closer to it, actually got knocked off her feet from the explosion. She felt like she was flying for a few moments before she collided with the ground again with a groan. "Holy s**t.." she let herself stay sprawled out in the floor momentarily before standing up again "Is everyone okay..?"

Everyone nodded and called out that they were fine. "Wait...where's Sakuya?" a healer asked, looking around. Try as they might, no one could find her.
-
It hit Masami like a boulder "She died..didn't she..?" yet the question was aimed at particularly no one, it seemed like she said it to the air rather then an actual person
-
Kelsier closed his eyes and ran a hand over his face. "We'll continue to search for her," he said wearily. "She might have fled out of fear or something. Comb the entire floor for her. Onbly after that will we pronounce her dead."
(hey, just a thought. Should Yui appear to Kelsier or Kazueko or somnething?)
-
This may sound stupid, but who's Yui again? o_o I forgotMasami said nothing and left the area the way she had come, leaving the next floor to be activated by someone else. When she was passing by Kelsier and Kazueko, she tried to hide the tears that threatened to fall. Despite her hard shell demeanor, she was actually really sensative inside, so having someone possibly dead on her account took a toll on her.
-
You know, the game AI girl thingy that Kirito found and basically adopted?
-
OH now I defs feel stupid, I'm pretty sure I remember it, my bad xD -
Maybe Masami finds her, and because she lost one of her recruits, she decides to protect Yui?
-
Sure, that works ouo -
As Masami left the boss fortress, a childish scream echoed from the nearby plains. "S-someone! Help me! Please!"
-
Masami froze, then ran towards the scream, only to find a younger girl
-
A tiny girl, perhaps ten or twelve, had her back to a tree as a gigantic goblin like creature menaced her with a sword. "Help!" she screamed again, closing her eyes.
-
Masami drew her sword and rushed the goblin, attempting to slash her sword over the goblins back
-
The goblin vanished in a blaze of blue, and the young girl looked up at Masami. "Th-thank...you..." she said weakly, before falling to the ground and passing out.
-
Masami put her sword back up, lifting the young girl up with a grunt. She made her way back to the bosses chambers, heading straight to Kelsier. "Here"she held out the kid to him; she didn't know what to do with her
-
Kelsier had remained in the fortress as a small squad went up to scout out the next floor. He turned in surprise as Masami tried to pass the girl to him. "What? Why do you have a little girl?" he asked, shocked. "Surely there weren't any players this young...?" Suddenly, the girl awoke as Masami tried to pass her off. "Momma," she said, reaching out for Masami.
(she did this in the show with Kirito and Asuna too)
-
"I have her because she needed help so I helped her, now I'm handing her to you since you're the leader." then she heard the kid say 'Momma' "Kid..I'm not your mom. You're inside a video game." she replied to the kid I'm not even the motherly type..
-
"Momma," the girl insisted, reaching out for Masami. Kelsier smiled for the first time and handed the girl back to Masami. "Looks like you're stuck with her," he said as the young girl wrapped her arms tightly around Masami's neck in a hug, refusing to let go.
-
"No." Masami said, trying to pry the child off of her "I'm not your mother. I only saved you, that doesn't make me your mother. I'm only sixteen! Go to Kelsier, or Kazueko, someone!" she was obviously becoming kind of nervous I can't take care of a kid! I'm a fighter, not a mother or care giver..
-
The girl clung on stubbornly. "No!" She said, closing her eyes and holding tighter. Kelsier smiled slightly at the sight. "I don't think she's going to dowhat you say, 'momma',"
