( ;D)
Shadow bit his lip. "It's not okay," he muttered, but he looked up at her with all the gratitude in the world.
-
Amy smiled softly, seemingly mot mervous at all. However, her mind was racimg from how she woulf explain this to Sonic.
-
Sonic was interested in finding out how she would do this, as well, and he was not about to wait. He cleared his throat, and that was all it took for Shadow to realize Sonic was there.
Shadow yanked himself backwards away from Amy, his eyes widening with alarm, then promptly cried out and fell to the floor, having put weight on his injured ankle.
-
Amy yelped, stumbling forwards in an effort to help shadow up. "Sonic," she snapped. "Was that really necessary?"
-
Sonic folded his arms. "All I did was clear my throat," he said nastily.
Tails looked like he was about to go hide in a corner. "S-Sonic..."
Shadow was wincing, and unable to hide the fact that he was absolutely, positively terrified to death of Sonic right then.
-
"Mistwr, if you don't shape up I'm going to bash your head in with my hammer and leave you out for the vultures." Amy growled deeply, unamused by Sonic's actions. She offered a hand to help Shadow up.
-
Sonic's eyes widened in anger. "Like I'M the one at fault here!"
Shadow didn't take it. He stared up at Amy. "I have to leave," he said faintly.
(gtg, bk weds.)
-
"You know what ? That's it! Out, NOW." She pointed a finger at thr open door. "I'm not in the mood right now. I never asked for you to come here, and I told you I was fine. Then you come in and start throwing rude taunts at Shadow for no reason-- Sonic T. Hedgehog, I-am-not-in-the-mood!"
-
Sonic was automatically gone. The gust nearly knocked Tails over.
-
With a frustrated grunt, Amy stared at the empty space Sonic had been occupying mere seconds ago. "Good riddance," She growled, turning back to Shadow. "Is your ankle okay?" She asked him, gaze softening.
-
Shadow was silent with shock, staring at where Sonic had just been standing.
-
"Shadow." Amy waved her hand a few inches away from his face.
-
Shadow flinched, then blinked at her, still startled.
-
"Is your ankle all right," She asked again.
-
Shadow continued to stare at her before registering her words. He meekly shook his head and sat back on the couch again.
-
Amy sighed. "I'm sorry about how Sonic's acting. It's not really like him." She gripped her dress, rubbing her left ankle with her right foot. "Do you want some more ice?"
-
Shadow shook his head again. "I'll be all right." He sounded so shell-shocked.
-
"Okay," Amy sighed before turning to Tails. "I'm sorry you had to see all that. You don't have to stay longer if you don't want to."
-
Tails's blue eyes were still enormous. His ears twitched nervously.
"That's okay," Tails said surprisingly. "I-I'll stay if you want me to. I think I might want to let Sonic cool off... as if I could ever find him by now..." His ears lowered.
