"When?" she asked him, trying not to be too loud as there were sleeping warriors around them. "Maybe in a moons time or something?"

"Maybe, Wingspan, if you feel like going, feel free to come and visit me. I tend to hang around the mountain top" he meowed with a faint smile, also whispering of course, as he curled himself up.
-
"Okay. Goodnight, Cinderpelt," she mewed to him, before she put her head on her paws and soon fell into sleep.
- timeskip? c:
-
OOC: Yep!
IC: He too, soon fell asleep with a slight sigh. Soon, he dreamed of the past and the possible future.
-
That morning, Wingspan awoke and then quietly made her way through the nests as some warriors were still asleep, then attempting to use her paw to shake the cougar. "Change of plan. Want to come on a two person hunting patrol with me?" she asked him, her tail tip twitching.
- hope this timeskip is okay. c:
-
The cougar's eyes slowly opened themselves as a paw shook his body for a bit. His claws slowly unsheathed themselves, but he soon recognised the voice and relaxed. "Sure" he meowed before yawning as he tried to strech his body for a bit. Hunting sounded alright, seeing they would need the food. The whole clan did. "Where?"
-
"Perhaps just in the forest," she told him. "If you're up for that?"
-
"Wherever you want to go, vice-leader" he meowed, smirking slightly as he padded towards the exit of the den. Appearing in the light, he let the sun fall on his pelt, purring. "Alright, I'm ready" he said before padding towards the camp entrance. He felt incredible and was quite sure he was going to catch a few things.
-
"Alright, let's go." Before he could answer, she had gone out of the camp entrance, a smile forced onto her face. She was going to try and be happy today. Ploughing through the days was better than constantly sitting and crying.
-
Hmmm? The puma noticed something wasn't completely right, but maybe he had to stay quiet... He didn't want to make it difficult or something so... He simply followed the female out of camp, his eyes taking in the sorroundings as he walked.
-
"Can you smell any prey yet?" she asked him, wondering if he could as she couldn't.
-
"Not really" he meowed, shaking his head. He guessed the prey would be further in, but he didn't really like that idea. The further you got, the further you'd have to walk back and the more chance you had at encountering someone who wasn't friendly. Nonetheless, he was quite sure nothing would happen, except for them encountering some prey. He had to believe.
-
"I'm starting to get the scent of rabbits... I get the feeling there is a burrow not too far away. Shall we try and find it and somehow we scare them out and try and catch as many as possible?"
-
"I'll jump on top of it, my weight should scare them enough. If not, I'll just start digging so they have to run" he meowed, nodding. "Or do you have something else in mind?"
-
"No, no, both of them ideas are good! Let's go and find it!" she said, beginning to search for the burrow.
-
The cougar followed her, careful not to step on random objects so that he wouldn't make too much noise. He wasn't sure where to look at first, but he did notice that Wingspan was going in the right direction, seeing the scent was getting stronger. Sure, he would have found it as well, but he was relying on the vice leader for now, without really haveing a reason for it. Maybe it was because of the fact his thoughts were not a hundred procents with the hunt right now.
-
At last, she noticed it, and she stopped beside Cinderpelt and whispered into his ear. "Here it is. What's the plan now? Which one do you want to go with? Perhaps you scare them and I try and catch some? Or the opposite way around?"
-
"I'll scare them, you're more agile than I am with your smaller body" he meowed with a curt nod, guessing that was the best idea. And so, he got into position and the moment Wingspan would signal she was ready, he would jump so Silvy wouldn't be forced to wait for his reply.
-
She nodded, looking at him and flicking her tail to show she was ready, getting into position as she waited for the rabbits to emerge.
-
Jumping, the cougar landed right on top of the rabbit 'camp' and started to make noises before digging here and there, aiming to force the rabbits towards Wingspan so she could catch some. Hopefully, it wouldn't last too long because he felt a bit like an idiot.
