"I think she is waking" Fawnstar exclaimed

"yes. what is your name young one?" rainpath gently asked. " i-i-i'm athena " was all she managed to say. " tell me what happened athena" asked rainpath again. " i w-walked into t-the f-f-forest and then they attacked me", she said as athena regained consciousness. "what cats?" puzzled rainpath. " i dont know" said athena without stumbling on her words.

"Lets help you to the medicine cat" Fawnstar helped the she cat to a nest

rainpath stared at athena. poor cat. she must be suffering. but what cats attacked her. it couldn't have been any of us. whoever it was trespassed on our territory!

Fawnstar saw Rainpath's look and understood. "Rainpath can you take a patrol to the border?"

"of course. who whould i take?" rainpath asked.

"Find someone who is available" Fawnstar instructed.

"alright"

Fawnstar slid the cat onto her back and carried her to the camp

rainpath called some cats over and they started a patrole. and in a while they came back. "there was no sign of anything. too quiet if you ask me."

"Help Rainpath" Fawnstar winced as the she cat slid off her back into a nest.

"nothing thats it. their scent markers were barely there. only a very faint smell. they havent been on the border for a while.and then we renewed ours. it was just deserted. too quiet." replied rainpath.
"are you okay fawnstar?" asked rainpath.

"yeah" Fawnstar shook herself off.

"ok" said rainpath, with a concerned look on her face.

"She is going to be ok I think" Fawnstar looked at Athena

"i dearly hope so. maybe she will agree to a apprentice name." suggested rainpath.
OOC: btw, i named athena after my cat athena lol

"of course fawnstar" rainpath agreed.
