    Mia Saucier sat in front of her TV, waiting to go to school. Her dog, Elsa, jumped up on her lap. "Hey girl, whats up?"she said to the dog. Her puppy, Bella ran into the room, followed by her father,"Alright Mia, let's go, you don't want to be late."

    "Dad, let's go, I'm gonna be late,"Jay said grabbing his backpack. He ran his hand through his blonde hair nervously. He ran out the front door, followed by his puppy. "C'mon boy, get in the car,"he urged the dog. He dad came out of the house, ran over to the car, and started it.

    Julie watched her favorite TV show, Blowing Up Cars in Slow Motion. "Oh did you see that!"she yelled aloud. Only then did she look at the clock. "I gotta go!" She raced out the front door and sprinted down the street and around the corner. She breathed a sigh of relief when she saw hat she was early.

    Mona waited for her sister to be ready to leave. She hadn't even seen Meagan today. "This'll teach her." She took a cooler, poured some cold water in it, then put in some ice. She ran upstairs,"You have been nominated for the ice bucket challenge,"she yelled pouring it over her sleeping sister's head.

    Meagan woke up immediately,"Oh my God, what did you do." She was soaking wet. "Get out Mona,"she said getting out of her drenched bed covers. She locked the door, got dressed, and did her hair in a mere 5 minutes. "I'm ready,"she yelled running down the stairs.

    Lyra woke up to the sound of music playing on her alarm clock. She ground and tried to hit the snooze but but fell out if bed in the process. Lyra sat up rubbing her head and glaring daggers at her alarm clock. She sighed standing up and walking over to her dresser. She looked over her clothes finally settling on a tress dress and a white cotton sweater. Lyra trudged over to the bathroom and raked a brush through her short curly brown hair. Once she had her hair under control her mom came into the straighten Lyra's hair. "Hurry Lyra you only have two more minutes" her mom warned, Lyra grabbed a black headband and put it on and rushed out to the car. Lyra was driven to school and she got out of the car five minutes later on the grounds of her new Elementary.
