    Hawkflash was attaching a splint to Zeropaw's broken leg when he heard Robinstar's call. "Coming, Robinstar!" He called back, wrapping two pieces of wood onto the leg. He checked the apprentice's body once more for any injuries that needed treatment right away before standing up. "Mistpaw. Keep an eye on him, come get me if he gets worse." The medicine cat walked briskly across the camp to where his leader was. "Yes?"

    Hawkflash gently led her to her den and set her down. He put down his herbs and grabbed the cobwebs that were wrapped around his left fore paw. "Okay, tell me about it." He smiled gently and started treating her wounds, soothingly placing the cobwebs on.

    Ah okay. I was just thinking that Hawkflash really cares for her. Like a brother I guess. Maybe because his younger brother was cruel and now is "dead".(Emberpaw's father) I don't know if it would become anything else unless you wanted it to. Just adorable.
    Also..I'm thinking of having Emberpaw's father be alive but be in ShadowClan. Everyone in DappleClan thinks him to have died but he actually joined ShadowClan. And had a daughter with one of the she-cats there. So Emberpaw has a half-sister who is like her father: rude and cruel.

    hahaha yeah awkward. Maybe she can still like him but he likes Robinstar.


    Ic: Emberpaw winced as Zeropaw coughed up blood. He stroked his friend's back with his tail, glancing frequently to where his uncle had disappeared to. "Please hurry, Hawkflash.." He whispered.


    Hawkflash stopped pressing on cobwebs for a second and gazed thoughtfully at his leader. "Hmm...it almost sounds like some cat is going to betray the Clan. The one in red. Which could be blood. And will bring trouble. But who?" He stroked a clump of dirt out of her fur then smoothed out that piece gently. "I will give it some more thought while you need to get some rest."

    Hawkflash smiled at he watched his leader fall asleep. "Anytime, Robinstar. If you need me, you know where to find me." He turned and padded out of the den, heading back to Zeropaw. Seeing the injured apprentice snapped him out of the thoughts about Robinstar and the prophecy. He would have to think about them later, right now Zeropaw needed him. Hawkflash put his ear on the apprentice's chest to hear him still breathing the same but he noticed that there was now blood by his mouth. Searching around, he found a deep injury on his chest that was hidden by his fur earlier. He patched it up quickly, knowing that only time would tell whether Zeropaw pulled through or not. There wasn't much more he could do.

Hawkflash looked over at his nephew who padded forward and carefully lifted one end of his friend. Together they carried Zeropaw to the medicine den. "Now get some rest." Hawkflash whispered to the injured apprentice as they put him down.

    Hawkflash grabbed a head of poppy seeds and shook out two onto his paw pad. He pushed his paw under Zeropaw's maw. "Eat these. They will make you feel better and help you sleep."
